How to Use Chewing Gum to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

if you have muscles this is a different thing but if not you are over weight... :( your BMI is 27 which means you are overweight... You have to take 2000 calories daily. Start with a good breakfast like 30gr off all brain corn flakes with a glass of low fat milk(200 calories),after 3 hours eat a snack like an APPLE (100 calories), then for lunch eat a salad with a soup spoon of oil with 170gr of meat (fish, beef etc) WITHOUT THE FAT cooked with water NOT OIL.once it is cooked add 1 soup spoon of oil (400-500 calories) OR 30gr of cheese with a slice of bread and cooked legumes or pulses with a soup spoon of oil ,after free hours eat 2 fruits (200 calories) and after free hours for dinner eat some salad with 1 soup spoon of oil (200 calories) if you want to lose weight you have to eat at least 1000 calories and less than 1800. if you want something like a chocolate you can eat some but BAGFULL not to surpass the 1800 calories per day.Healthy food burns fat and help with the metabolism.!keep doing this diet and remember don't have breaks like one day of diet one day of eating normally, you will never lose weight like that. REMEMBER you have to eat every 3 hours small such meals

  • Hey relax thats normal weight remember muscle weighs more then fat. If you do think your a little over weight then go for a jog early in the mornings to stay fit i surf in the mornings and have to get up quite early. Also watch what you eat.

How can i gain muscle? I am a hard gainer?

I am basically what you call an ectomorph or a hardgainer...in other words it is hard for me to gain weight/muscle.I currently measure 172cm and weigh around 55kg. I am motivated and i want to start gaining muscle but i dont really know what to do, as stupid as it might sound. I wanna be doing the right stuff, and not waste time. So do you guys have any workout recomendations? Also what supplements should i take? Thank you

How to Lose Weight Quickly

Recommended Answer:

If you're an ectomorph (very thin/skinny) or near ectomorph you will have difficulty gaining weight because of your somatype, not because of metabolism. So, if you want to change that and add some pounds there are two ways to do it. Both may work and neither may work. Your success is going to ultimately depend on your body chemistry which is inherited (genetic).FATThe difference between naturally fat and naturally thin people is the number of fat cells in their body. An endomorph may have as many as 250 billion adipocytes (fat cells) while the ectomorph may only have about 50 billion. There's no way to change your total adipocytes or their distribution throughout your body. How fat or thin you are has almost nothing to do with metabolism. You can try adding fat by eating more food. You should eat a proper diet which is about 50/20/30 (%calories from carbs/fats/protein respectively) and just consume more food. You should NOT eat junk food, increase your carbs, take supplements, consume more fat, etc. Just eat a proper, well balanced diet in increase the portions (serving sizes). If you are able to add body fat, you will have no control over where the fat goes or how it looks. In other words, the result could be "skinny fat" which is probably less appealing aesthetically than skinny. And, of course, if you don't like the fat, you'll just have to lose it to get back to where you were.MUSCLEYou can try adding muscle. It is always good to try to add muscle because muscle is the best metabolic investment you can make. Here are some of the benefits of strength training.• Stronger bones & increased mineral density (osteoporosis protection)• Stronger body & musculature (improved protection from injury)• More robust organic and systemic fitness (more survivable in crisis) • Improved cardio-vascular function (better than "cardio")• Higher basal metabolic rate (~5-50 cal/day/pound of muscle)• Easier fat loss (more efficient lipid consumption)• Greater calorie consumption (prolonged afterburn)• Supports body sculpting (hypertrophy)• Slows natural loss of muscle mass (sarcopenia) over age 30Adding muscle is a very slow and difficult process. Watch this video for more about that ---> http://www.youtube.com/user/scooby1961#p/search/0/Xcuhi6RaZ24 . On average males can add no more than about a pound of muscle per month and females can add about 20% less and that is only under ideal circumstances which are rare. However, if you're a teen, you may find adding muscle to be almost impossible because you will not have your lifetime maximum of testosterone (the muscle building hormone) until about your mid20s. Adding muscle means very intense (and painful) training for a few hours per week and usually requires a gym or gym facilities. It also requires some understanding of how to train (exercise physiology, kinesiology, muscle anatomy, etc) which usually means some time spent with a personal trainer. Adding muscle is a difficult and long term process and, once the muscle is added, the training must continue to maintain the muscle.Ectomorphism is an unhappy an occurrence because being very thin can effect self esteem and inhibit social interaction. However, the ectomorph will usually, in adult life, find it easier to achieve and maintain an ideal or close to ideal body weight because people naturally tend to grow fatter and/or more robust as they grow older....especially with proper diet and training. In other words, being underweight now may be paying it forward. You may reap the benefits with a nice body while your midlife peers are fighting the battle of the bulge.Note - Do not use pills, tonics, supplements, shakes, or other products which claim they can help increase body weight without first checking with your doctor. The scammers are very much aware of the plight of the ectomorph and there are scores or companies with products and advertising all designed to capitalize on your misfortune for their profit. Don't be a sucker. So, they may not be ideal. But those are your two options. Fat and/or muscle. Now, read this --> http://www.eatright.org/Public/content.aspx?id=6852#.UDnVaKAUOFAGood luck and good health!!♠

How to Lose Weight Fast at the Gym

Recommended Answer:

ACNE is an embarrassing and burdensome problem to many and especially to teenagers. It is easy to feel that you don't have control over your breakouts. But the fact is, you do. I'm NOT going to recommend you to see your dermatologist. No. It is not always necessary. Natural remedies are more powerful too. Sometimes, all your body needs is the right nutritional balance and proper skin care. Here are some easy things you can start doing today to help you heal your acne. You should notice a difference in about 4 weeks. Start drinking Aloe Vera juice and try Aloe Vera Gel – to start with. Please do not expect any magical results with any of the treatments. Apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week - Honey has antibacterial properties & so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. It is also gentle on sensitive skin. Wash twice a day with acne soap - You should wash your face twice a day with a sulphur based soap designed for acne. Once when you first wake up in the morning and then, right before you go to bed at night. Be extremely gentle to your skin when washing - do not scrub or use any sort of rough cloth. Over washing your skin will actually stimulate your sebaceous glands to produce more sebum, thus increasing your acne. Keep your hair off your face - If you have long hair or bangs, pull your hair off your face. Your hair contains oils as well, and will contribute to your breakouts. You'll also want to wash your hair everyday and after workouts. Take a potent multi-vitamin - Acne can be a sign that something is wrong on the inside. Your skin depends on nutrition. It is a vital organ that is usually neglected. If your body is not receiving the right nutrition, it will fight back. One common way it will rebel is to produce excessive sebum, clogging pores, and reducing the ability for your skin to heal and fight bacteria. Include chromium in your diet - Chromium is well known for weight loss diets. But it is also excellent for healing infections on the skin. Taking a chromium supplement once a day will help heal your pimples quickly and prevent future breakouts. Eat carrots for beta-carotene (Vitamin A) - Vitamin A strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and actually prevents acne. It helps reduce sebum production. This vitamin is essential for the maintenance and repair of the tissue which the skin and mucous membranes are made of. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant needed to rid your body of toxins. Did you know that a deficiency in vitamin A can actually cause acne? Avoid wearing makeup - Leaving makeup products on your skin only contributes to clogging your pores, causing more pimples and blackheads. If you feel you must wear makeup, be sure it is water-based. Do not pick or squeeze your blackheads and pimples - As tempting as it may be, do not squeeze, scratch, rub or touch your pimples and blackheads. Do any of these actions, actually increases the sebum production. Plus, when you squeeze, you are actually rupturing the membranes below your skin, causing infection and sebum to spread underneath your skin. The result is more pimples. Wash your pillow case every other day - Your face lays on your pillow case every day. Your pillow case absorbs the oils from your skin and reapplies the dirt and oil, thus causing breakouts. Keep your sheets and pillow cases clean. Eat foods rich in zinc - Zinc is an antibacterial agent and a necessary element in the oil-producing glands of the skin. A diet low in zinc can actually cause acne breakouts. By far the most common teen-age skin disorder, acne usually begins at puberty, at a time when oil glands in the skin enlarge and increase the production of skin oil (sebum). This occurs as a result of rising hormones during adolescence. Ranging from simple pimples to angry boils, these unsightly blemishes that fall under the general heading of acne, will plague 9 out of 10 pubertal youngsters; an age when physical attractiveness becomes so important.

  • Niacinamide face cleansing pads are an effective and simple way to keep acne away. Just place a pad on the pimple and watch it fade away. Lavender Oil helps prevent skin drying. Niacinamide also helps diminish skin-hyperpigmentation (acne scars)Niacinamide pads are also known as Vitamin B3 pads or Nicotinamide pads. Works on body acne too.Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised.

I want to lose weight, but I still weigh the same?

I've been trying to lose weight by eating a handful size of one meal a day. I do not care if I'm not eating enough. I jog laps everyday. I've been doing this for 6 and a half months. I don't even eat fatty foods, but I have not gained or lost a single pound. I'm 120 lbs and I want to be really really skinny. I don't want any muscle or fat.

Eating one large meal a day won't help you lose weight it's better to eat less and more frequently . Why? Because you keep your metabolism going therefore losing more calories . Idk maybe like 6 small meals a day. (Including snacks) good luck !

Is it safe to take these medications together? Weight loss?

I''m 20, 320lbs, 6''0. I''m taking a testosterone booster. It helps with energy and other side affects of low testosterone. I''m not 100% but I feel like I have a very low amount. Also taking daily men''s vitamin, 250mg Rasberry Kestones, green coffee bean extract (before meals), and taking the weight loss pill Alli. I also bought myself a brand new 100$ juicer and have been drinking lots of fresh veggies. I''ve spent a lot of money but that is my new year''s resolution. To better myself physically and mentally, and not indulge on things like movies, video games, fast food, etc.

How to Lose Weight Teens - Modern Teens Face More Than Hormonal Changes

Recommended Answer:
It’s better to avoid these types of supplements like Rasberry Kestones, green coffee bean extract and weight loss pills. If you are taking these type of pills most probably you get a side effects.

Can I ask you one question, why don’t you concern one specialist doctor and it’s better to meet your family or any doctor.

So that he will provide you about weight loss information and one more thing is you have to do daily exercise in your home, it is the important part of weight loss.

  • Well, I don''t think kestones and the extract are a very good combination since the side effects of Kestones include things like diarrhea and overall stomach problems. That with the coffee bean extract could be a bad combination. Can I ask you why you''re taking these supplements? They really don''t have anything to do with weight loss. May I suggest meal replacement shakes and dietary supplements? Also, how much exercise are you getting? That''s a crucial part of weight loss. If you''re interested, I can introduce you to some high quality weight loss products. Just contact me at hjoseph68@yahoo.com or 551-265-9625 if you are interested, but ignore this information if you''re not interested.

Hypnosis - Lose Weight With Hypnosis Easily, Naturally & Permanently For Anyone and It Works

Recommended Answer:
You really do answer your own question.... There are no tricks...

... to lose weight a bit more 'efficiently' you could adopt the alternate day fasting (ADF), or zone diet strategy. ADF requires a person to know their daily/weekly calorie amount and then reduce that amount to create a deficit to lose weight (ie if you must eat 3000 cals daily to maintain you current weight and you wanted to lose 1kg per week for 12 weeks you would have to simply reduce your daily cals by 500 per day, and eat 2500 calories daily), with ADF you fast for two days a week and eat your weight loss calorie amount total for the remaining five days. You only eat one meal of 800 calories for breakfast on your two fast days and then zero calories for the remainder or the day, which also means no drinks or beverages that contain calories either. So... if your daily calories amount to lose weight was 2500 (2500x7 = 175000 calories you need to eat (or slightly less) per week to lose weight... if you eat 800 calories only for two days (1600 total) then the other five days you can eat more than your 2500... 2500 cals X 2 days - 5000 cals ... 1600 cals - 5000 cals = 3400, which can then be spread across the other 4 days. (3400 / 5 = 680 calories more per day) ... 2500 + 680 = 3180 calories per day!!! ... in a nutshell you eat 3180 calories per day for five days a week and 800 calories on two days; your weekly calorie amount to lose weight will still be the same (total of 17500 for the week), but the two days you fasted for will have created a larger/faster calorie loss compared to what you would have lost over a week if you had just eaten the same amount of calories each day.

The zone diet is almost the same as it uses a weekly calorie amount, but instead of having fast days, it has a different calorie amount each day. Some days are high and some are low.

The results from both diet strategies work... but with ALL diets to lose weight, you have to stick to them 100% ... doing it 99% often does not work... at the end of the day it all boils down to 'those people who know exactly what to do, and then do it... and those who know exactly what to do and choose not to do it' .... which type are you?

Good luck... ;0)

What Do You Think The Fastest Way To Lose Weight Is?

Recommended Answer:
It's really not as complex as you might think. Seriously. Eat REAL food...eat SIMPLE. You don't have to follow a crazy strict diet. Eat to your needs. A little tip....if it has a food label with ingredients, it isn't real food. Fruits don't have that...vegetables don't have that...chicken doesn't have that...you get the idea
As far as exercises go, I know that you say you want to focus on loosing the weight first and getting the muscles later...but they are one in the same. Muscle mass burns fat. The more muscle you build the more fat you will burn. So what I am telling you is that you need to lift and lift HEAVY. You need to lift weights that challenge your body. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. Yes, you will want to do cardio as well to get your heart rate up and help you burn those calories and fat as well. But TRUST ME when I say you want to incorporate the weights...probably focus on them even more than the cardio.

  • Eat Crackers And Drink Water For A Week
  • At 150 pounds don't try to lose 5 pounds in a week. Shoot for a pound or two a week and in 6 months you will lose 26+ pounds. This will be better for your body. Develop good eating habits and exercise at least 3 times a week and you will be able to accomplish your goals. I have lost 12 pounds in 7 weeks by keeping the same lifting pattern and giving up junk food and soda.

Can a thin girl lose 10 pounds?

I am naturally thin not like stick thin but thin curvy. I need to lose 10 pounds for personal reason to become skinny for a role I am in. I can gain the weight back if I want to but I don't want to. I don't want to hear "no don't lose it!" Because I will NOT listen I am just asking if I could lose 5-10 pounds in two weeks. I have a decent metabolism and don't eat an excess amount of calories I eat in the "matience" to "fat burning range" and am a healthy teen I don't have any problems with going to the bathroom or anything.

Anyways I plan on doing 45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week (I have a recumbuent bike) and I have an ab line and flat stomach so to tone my ab muscles more will do sit ups, push ups, the mountain climber, plank, the bicycle) and some squats and such to tone my butt, thighs and legs they aren't like fat or anything. Will I see weight loss? I'm doing it for a role in a play and want to do it the healthy way as appose to fasting or crash dieting.

Tips To Lose Weight Fast

I've noticed that my face is one of the first places I notice my weight loss. I would say between 5-10 pounds you will start noticing a difference!

  • ..eat less..
  • no
  • Yes you can, but you have to stick to this routine. Don't give up half way, because that will stop you from losing weight. Also a more efficient way to lose weight, is to cut down on the amount of carbs you eat. The only worry about exercising to lose weight, is it may just tone you instead, but thats probably not going to happen.
  • You need to watch what you eat aswell, your body naturally gets much hungrier when you start exercising, so if you don't watch it you might GAIN weight.

If you're pretty thin it might be hard to lose 10 pounds in two weeks, but 5 pounds is doable.

What is a fast way to gain weight...?

So yesterday at school I got called out of class to be talked to by the nurse, she took me in the corner and said some teachers had been talking behind my back, they think I'm anorexic
That killed me inside, the kids always point out how skinny I am...
I am fourteen, 5''4, and I only weight about 84 pounds.
Today I can't even go to school because it HURTS. I was trying to put on some baggy clothes, but nothing I own fits me the way I need it to. Shopping for clothes is a nightmare because they are either too short or too big. I can't take it anymore, even buying underwear is hard!
I just CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE, I can't go to school looking like this, knowing the teachers and kids think I am starving myself when it's just ME.

Please, please tell me, is there a food or vitamin or anything I can take to make me gain weight faster? I already eat a lot and I never gain weight. I don't have a medical condition, I've been checked out by many doctors, it's simply the way I was made, but I can't be like this anymore...

Six Simple Ways For You To Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
Trust me, you're not alone. I went through this and my friend used to make fun of food. The funny thing I used to eat a lot among my friend and family but gaining weight was almost impossible for me.
But I changed by eating habits and that helped me somehow.

1) EAT A LOT OF CALORIES: The best way to gain weight is to eat a lot of food that contains calories such as peanut butter, cheese, bread, pork, milk, egg. What I used to do was to carry a loaf of bread and bottle of peanut butter with me and try to eat them as a snack and make sure I finished eating them before I go to bed.
2) You can make your own nutritious calories by mixing ice cream and milk and drink a cupful in a minute or two before bedtime. This also helps me a lot.
3) You can drink more milk than water because water s somehow fat burner and it'll make you lose weight.

4) If you want this badly, you can decide to join a weight gain program. There are many scams in the market and you have to be very careful of which one to join. I came across one that help me a lot; they help gave me the best nutrition, motivation and the kind of activities that helps me to gain weight quick. To be honest, this weight gain program help me a lot to gain weight and now I look very big since they guided me to workout as well.
THIS IS THE LINK TO THE PROGRAM: http://560989ojje2a-lfch24eo5nkem.hop.clickbank.net/

  • I need to know this also. Im 6'1... 13 years old... and 98 lbs. Nobody says im anorexic but im tired of seeing a lil bit of my ribs without sucking in. I have a flat stomach its just around the ribs that look to skinny.
  • Believe me, the last thing you wanna do is gain weight. You don't wanna be fat. Ignore other peoples remarks and just be you. now you can eat lot's of burgers and chicken and after a while you may get over 100 pounds.

You have no other way to be somebody else, you're built like that. My brother is, he is 21, and what, 130 pounds. He eats more than me, yet never gains weight.

    hang in there

you say you eat a lot, but maybe you have a very fast metabolism. Eat at least 2500 calories a day, but make sure its healthy food, like peanut butter, avocados and nuts. You can look up the amount of calories at sites like caloriecounter. Try not to do cardio, but rather strength training like pushups, situps, weights etc. drink calorie dense shakes throughout the day/in between meals. Ask a dietician or doctor about supplements before you try anything. They can also set up a program for you to stick to.

Motivation to lose weight? Weight Watchers?

I need to lose weight. I won't kid myself and say I don't, because I do. I've suffered with pretty bad depression and as an emotional eater, its gotten out of control. Thing is, I always go through these "diet" phases where I'm all excited to eat better and exercise and lose weight and be happy. They last about three days, though, and then I'm back to square one. I'm still young and want to be healthy and lead a full life, but I honestly have a really hard time finding motivation to lose the weight. I know I'd be healthier and shopping might be fun then, but my depression likes to nag me. I feel like I'm really lonely, so nobody would notice and I still wouldn't feel better. How can I get motivated and STAY motivated? I need something that I can use so I won't crack after a day and a half. Also, I've been considering Weight Watchers because I've met a few people with success on it. Does it work decently? I really would like to shed the weight before I graduate college. I don't want my crappy physical appearance to keep me from a job. (I've heard rumor that physically fit people do better in the job market?) Help!

Foods to Lose Weight Healthily

Recommended Answer:
So you're back at the beginning again and wanting to lose weight. That's the first step. Next, tell yourself that this time will be different. This time, you're going to completely change your lifestyle and you're NOT going on another diet. This is how you lose weight and keep it off. Diets don't work! You probably already know this. Eating healthy and losing weight will do wonders for your depression too.

Losing weight is about 80% what you eat and 20% exercise, so focus on what you're eating. Eat less junk/fast/fried foods and focus on eating a variety of foods including fruits and vegetables, but also lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish, lean beef, plain greek yogurt), healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts, hummus), brown rice, oatmeal, milk, low fat cheese, whole wheat bread, etc. Here are 2 sites that have lots of easy, delicious and healthy recipes: Skinny Taste and Emily Bites. Look them up on Google.

If you feel hungry, ask yourself, "Do I want some vegetables or just junk food?" If the answer is junk food, then you're not really hungry. If the answer is vegetables, then great - eat as many as you want. Then, drink a big glass of water and wait 20 minutes. If you still feel hungry, but not for vegetables, then go do something else to keep yourself busy like text a friend or go for a walk.

You can't rush weight loss because you will end up with saggy skin from losing too fast. Do it smart and you will look great. Exercise is important too, but you don't have to exercise to lose weight, but it makes you look better. Grab a friend and go for a long walk or a jog, ride your bike, dance around the house, jump rope, etc. YouTube has lots of free workout videos, so do some research on there and find one you like. Exercise for at least 30 minutes, 3-4 times a week. Exercise will make you drop sizes faster and you will lose a little faster as well.

If you change your lifestyle and get committed to eating healthier and working out, then you will never have to worry about losing weight for the rest of your life! Doesn't that sound great?! It does to me. I have totally changed my whole relationship with food since the summer and have lost 57lbs so far using a site called My Fitness Pal. It's a free site with people who are trying to lose weight and get healthy. You enter your height/weight/age and it tells you how many calories to eat per day based on your goal of losing 1 or 2lbs per week. Then, you log you food and try to stay under your calories. It's actually kind of fun. They have a HUGE database with lots of foods in it, so it's likely that everything you eat is already in there. You can make friends and then you have people for motivation, support, to ask questions to, etc. You also log your exercise and if you exercise, you get to eat more food! They already have you eating at a deficit, so you will still lose weight if you eat more. This site worked for me and I know it can work for you.

It's still okay to have treats every once in awhile, but not every day. I eat something unhealthy probably 2-3 times per week and have lost weight consistently since June. I think it's better than WW because it's free and there are no meetings. You can log on anytime you're thinking of eating something bad and there will be people around to help you through it. I really wish you the best of luck, and I've given you a great plan that will work if you follow it. know you can do it!! The last thing I'll recommend is to take some pictures of yourself now and take your measurements because you're about to lose weight and keep it off and you'll want both of those to know where you started and measure your progress. Good luck!

Does drinking water really make a difference to your skin/acne?

So I've been reading a lot about how water helps nourish your skin and whatnot... and I really want to try this out, but I want to make sure first. I've read reviews from a lot of people that say stuff such as it helped clear their skin and how their skin looks so much brighter now. And then I read other reviews saying that it doesn't help at all and it's just a myth. So what should I believe? I'm not looking for a quick fix -- I just want to know if this would work, because then I'm going to start drinking 8 glasses of water everyday for a month... and continue it if it helps.

Have any of you tried just simply drinking more water daily and has it made a difference? Thanks :) x

Recommended Answer:
Yes, of course. Water does wonders and it's clear why it does. Our bodies are made up of water, not fully but, a percentage of our bodies is water...look it up on yahoo for the actual number. As we go along through out our days, we lose water so we need more water to hydrate us. If we don't drink enough it starts to affect us, physically and mentally which will make us emotional. The ones who say this isn't true are just ignorant. If you are not healthy, considering you don't get enough water, or out of shape then you should get on a healthier diet and exercise plan because if you don't, when you drink your 8 glasses of water, it will cause you to bloat. If you already have acne you might want to get something for that, water will help but if it doesn't clear it up enough then that's a issue you need to address to a dermatologist. Yes it has made a difference. I always been kind of healthy and very much into skin care. But it was a time in my life I just didn't care about anything, needed a break. I was partying, going out a lot. Not drinking water really. So my skin started breaking out, my urine was darker, I was dehydrated, and gained some weight. Once I started drinking more water, my skin cleared up therefore my urine was way lighter, I had no reason to be dehydrated and I did lose some weight.

  • I've read up on this and found that there's 'no scientific evidence' to support the idea that drinking water makes a difference to your skin.

However drinking water has a lot of other health benefits and i'm sure you'll notice the difference in yourself. Vitamins A, B, C and E are good for the skin as they help keep skin elastic and help prevent age related damage, they also promote the growth of new skin. Not getting enough of this can make your skin dry and scaly.

Instead of drinking 8 glasses of water a day you could substitute a glass or two for orange juice (vitamin C) and milk (vitamin B12 and A). Foods like peanuts, almonds, sunflower seeds are rich in vitamin E.

Essential fatty acids in foods like walnuts, salmon and olive oil help keep skin hydrated.

Using sun screen and protecting your skin from harsh elements as well as cleansing and moisturising will also help.

If you really want to have a go at improving your skin and your well being in general it's probably best
to look at your whole diet and make a few small changes to get in some extra vitamins (if you're not already). :)

Simple Tips To Lose Weight And Burn Calories

She is just plain terrified of getting fat. No wonder the bad attitudes towards fat people are varied, from outright hate, to subtle judgment and rejection. In the later case people would say they are just being over sensitive, they have no idea of the constant negative messages people direct toward those with extra weight. It all adds up to nothing less than harassment, that's not an exaggeration.

  • maybe nothing's wrong and you should stop being to goddam paranoid and let her do what she wants

    get a life or something
  • 112 ain't fat you idiot
  • Maybe she has an eating disorder.

Foods to Lose Weight Healthily

Recommended Answer:
Losing 10 lbs a month is a good and safe target. Any faster weight loss is likely to be temporary only and in most cases you regain it all.

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.

You can always eat negative calorie foods for weight loss and below is a list of negative calorie foods that will boost your metabolism.

Negative Calorie Fruits:
apples
cranberries
grapefruit
lemons
mangoes
oranges
pineapple
raspberries
strawberries
tangerines

Negative Calorie Vegetables:
asparagus
beets
broccoli
cabbage (green)
carrots
cauliflower
celery
Chile peppers (hot)
cucumber
dandelions
endives
garden cress
garlic
green beans
lettuce
onions
papaya
radishes
spinach
turnips

These foods don't actually have negative calories but when you eat these foods raw or slightly cooked your body burns more calories digesting and processing them than what is in the food itself.

For a healthy weight loss add some of these foods to your diet each day. Most of them are full of healthy nutrients such as fiber, antioxidants and enzymes as well as vitamins and minerals.

  • Hi Dear,

I'm truly apologized for your unpleasant experience..Would you be able to give me opportunity to explain on how herbalife work?

There are several ways in which stress can contribute to weight gain. One has to do with cortisol, a stress hormone. When we’re under stress, the fight or flight response is triggered in our bodies, leading to the release of various hormones.

Metabolism -- Commonly people are gaining weight when they are stressed, you tend to eat more or sometime, you're eating the same amount of food as always. This is because, too much cortisol can slow your metabolism, causing more weight gain than you would normally experience. This also makes dieting more difficult.

Nowadays, we are searching for a quick bite in our fast-paced lifestyles. We grab drive-thru burgers and fatty fried foods on the go because healthy homemade meals aren't as accessible. So, Herbalife Formula 1, nutritious shake is complete to replace unhealthy meal.

With or without Herbalife product, our body needs enough water. Are you drinking enough water? If you're not, you could end up with excess body fat, poor muscle tone, digestive complications, muscle soreness -- even water-retention problems

"Proper water intake is a key to weight loss. If people who are trying to lose weight don't drink enough water, the body can't metabolize the fat adequately. Retaining fluid also keeps weight up."

Give Herbalife a second chance. I'm more than happy to be your personal coach (FOC) because my responsibility to help people for Herbalife.

How to lose weight? really quickly!!!?

Help?

Top Five Tips to Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
You can't lose weight quickly... in a healthy way I mean.

Firstly, cut out all the junk food, processed food, sugary foods, sugary drinks, white rice, white bread etc etc.

What you want is brown rice, brown bread, all the complex carbs. They're healthier for you as you break them down slowly so it provides you with a constant source of energy, whereas (i.e.) white bread would give you a sugar spike which isn't healthy.

Secondly, eat several meals a day. Don't eat too much at one time. Eat a balanced meal, enough veggies, proteins, carbs. Try not too eat too late either. If you're eating real late (i.e. midnight snack) be vary of what you're eating. You also don't want to eat out that much, never sure what they put in your food. READ NUTRITIONAL LABELS. You just gotta.

Thirdly is Sports/Activities. You gotta do them. Use up your energy, burn up the calories, stay healthy. I.e. go jogging. What's best though is interval training. What I mean by that is running for 1min, jogging for 1 min, repeat several times. This'll really get your heart pumping and'll shed tons of fat from you. Resistance training (working out) also burns lots of calories. You should mix up your exercises.

SLEEP IS IMPORTANT. You need at least 8 hours of sleep per day.

If you're really serious, you can count your calorie intake.DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! 4 Litres a day. Stress also directly & indirectly causes you to gain weight. So chillax if you're feeling stressed out :D

  • If you don't want on exercise, try walking. Anywhere you have to go walk there. Try to find something you like which will motivate you. Kickboxing is fun as well as spin class. Find something you enjoy so its not a chore
  • you really need to exercise even if when your walking round your house you jog on the spot lots and never stand still - this way it will take a long while though
  • Although I always prefer exercising there are ways other than that.
I think you really should consider exercising it is the best way to lose way (although not for everyone).
Most of the weight loss products are not that good and if they help you loose your weight they can ruin your health a bit.
I recently found a good way to loose weight. When you are lazy you can still do other things of course it's just that it is harder without exercising (in some cases impossible). Well you can check the video which recommends the way I lost my weight.
Just check the video first and if you don't like it just don't buy it. I just have no reasons to not recommend it, it's your choice in the end. http://fatlossfactorway.blogspot.com/
    Never forget considering exercising!
  • If you're trying to lose weight fast then you can lose at least 10 pounds in one week. All you have to do is not eat anything but fruit except bananas and exercise at least 5 times a day
  • okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows:

Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)
eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a slow cooker /food steamer & rice/pasta cooker to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink mainly water (green tea , juice & milk being the other options you drink). If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken.

also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.

    * you should lose about 10 lbs per month

Six Simple Ways For You To Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
from your words i see that you don't have the real determination to loose weight , Control desire inturn controlling the urge to eat more or drink more and then exercise , after a lot of pain , suffering when u get that model shape body , you will look in to the mirror and say yes yes am a winner

Note:- dont buy any fat burners or stuffs like that , your liver will suffer

  • Get off the internet and work out.
  • you know absolutely nothing about nutrition and health. you won't lose weight with a diet like that. have fun being malnourished.
  • Try switching to diet coke for your coke issues? But i think the more serious issue is the fast food...take a packed lunch instead of going fast food! cheaper and healthier and an easy way to get your routine more healthy...
  • To lose weight calories are not the most important thing. Instead of limiting intake altogether it's best to eat throughout the day, also limiting junk food is a good idea (the coke should be fine just think moderation). The best to eat would be less processed foods (rule of thumb the more authentic the less processed) veggies are good. For exercise anaerobic activity is the most effective for fat burning (takes all energy from fat as cant process with oxygen) as well as continuing burning afterward because of increased muscle strength (for lifting at least). This is also much less time consuming than aerobic. I hope this helps you.
  • Get off the soda kick. They are terrible for you..both diet and non diet. If you are drinking regular sodas, you are loading your body up with tons of sugar and sugar is bad for you and high in calories. Your diet is terrible and if you want to lose weight and/or if you are concerned about being healthy and looking good...start eating more green without all the dressings and other bad things. Do some research and learn how to eat healthy. When you learn that and eat portions and lay off those things with no nutritional value, the weight will come down. You also need to learn about exercise. It boosts metabolism start walking and drinking water when you are thirsty. I like the bubbles too so I've learned to drink mineral water and now I drink a slightly flavored seltzer when I need my bubble fix.
Here's a quick lesson in how your body handles too much sugar...As the sugar in your blood gets higher and higher, you body starts producing insulin to lower it. If you over indulge, insulin turns what you are over consuming into fat. You need to learn about carbs...there are simple ones and complex ones. Carbs turn into sugar especially the complex ones like sugar, flour, rice, potatoes. Eat these things in moderation. The other carbs are green. You know which ones have more sugar because they are sweet. Oranges are just sugar, and so the sweet fruits you eat to get your vitimins but you don't over eat them. You also eat them whole...not drink the juice so that you get fiber. Fiber is important in keeping your sugar levels down and helping digestion. If you can't do the research then start watching the Biggest Loser if it is still on. They give you good ideas about eating healthy and exercise to get the weight off. Buts here's what no one told me when I was young. You need to take very good care of your body. You pay for everything bad you do to your body when you are young later in life. That usually doesn't mean much to young people but just remember you are old much longer than you are young. When you get as old as me you will want to be as healthy as possible so that you can continue on doing what you want and that your body doesn't slow you down. I am very old and I didn't get the advice I just gave you about eating properly but at least I always exercised to look toned and keep my weight down. That pays off big time in the long run. And be sure your mother is cooking healthy things for you. It sounds as though you haven't been taught anything about nutrition. It's important. Learn what you need to know to take good care of yourself and teach your family. Remember drink water, eat veggies and greens, lay off fatty stuff and only eat small amounts of white things...flour, sugar, rice, potatoes, pasta, bread.....

Should I still exercise even though I'm not trying to lose any weight?

I am 115 lbs and 18 years old. 5 foot 3. Size 2. I am comfortable with my weight. I have been eating approx. 1600 cals a day & maintaining my weight for a while. Should I still exercise? I hate exercising (just being honest.) and do not want to lose weight.

Fastest Way to Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
Keep exercising for the sake of your health. Back off a little & don't do as much.

  • probably...just 2 stay in shape n b on the safe side
  • Yep! It's good for your heart and your skin and all the other organs in your body. Keep it up, girl!
  • Yes, you should exercise even if its just going for walks or runs. It's important to keep moving not only for your muscles but for your bones, joints, metabolism, etc.

You're more likely to suffer from back issues if you don't work out when you are younger. Just go to the gym once or twice a week or go for walks with a friend at night. You don't have to make it a 3 hour work out every night.
  • 1600 cals is NOT enough. And exercise is good for you. It makes you feel good too.
  • I'm not very keen on exercising so what I do is the most reasonable exercises. If you have a dog, take it for a walk once or twice a day. Also, if you're able to walk somewhere in a reasonable time but you either drive or take a bus, then choose to walk, if you can get there then there's no reason why you shouldn't walk! You may have realised what I've suggested isn't the more usual exercising tips, so I assume you wouldn't lose any weight, it's just gives you a healthier lifestyle and a more positive attitude towards being healthy.

Is it possible I'll loose weight if I quit smoking weed?

I'm just curious if it's possible I might lose weight if I stop smoking. I love smoking, so this is why I don't want to quit if there is no benefit out of it. I smoke usually 2 or 3 times a day. I usually eat a lot when I get home from my friends' house at like 10 at night because of the munchies. When I go a day without smoking I hardly eat anything that day. Any experiences with this?

Thank you! :)

Are cherry Slurpee's okay to drink if you are trying to lose weight?

I'm trying to lose at least 100 pounds before my high school graduation which is a year from now. I'm 284 pounds right now. I'm cutting back from pop and junk food. Are cherry slurpee's okay for a snack? I'm just wondering.

Simple Tips To Lose Weight And Burn Calories

Recommanded Answer:
Absolutely not. .... no other answer.. You want to lose 100lbs, get serious about it. You gained the weight by overeating too many carbs (energy), which your body then stored as fat.

Try this.... for 10 days...look at everything you eat. .. if it has carbs/sugar.....put it down. ...keep it at less than 30gms a day. ... eat whatever else you want doesn't matter. ... eat enough not to be hungry. On the 10th night eat heavy carbs. ...slurpee.. donuts. ... cakes. ... cookies. ... rice. ... pasta. ...on day 11.... go back to less than 30gms I f carbs. ... then on night 7.... heavy carbs again. ... and repeat.... week after week for 6 months max..... take 1 month off.... then start again. Drink 120oz of water daily. ..

Good luck

  • It's the same as pop as far as nutrition, so no. Opt for fruits or nuts as a snack instead.
  • A good rule of thumb is that if you're great great grandmother wouldn't recognize it as food, don't eat it.

If it comes out of a machine or comes in a wrapper, don't eat it. Eat "natural foods," fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, bread, nuts, legumes. Stuff that people ate 100 years ago. Nothing processed.
  • Not Really they are just sugar drinks and sugar converts to fat so I wouldn't drink them everyday. Perhaps 1 every 2 weeks for a treat , that's it. Good Luck losing weight :)
