I decided to go vegan after what just happened?

I'm a 3.5 year old vegetarian. Since April of this year, I really started to crack down on my nutrition. Yesterday, my family hosted a grad party and I was so tempted to eat junk food that I literately ate 5 cupcakes and a bunch of cookies along with a white bread sub. In just 20 minutes, my back was in flames (I have arthritis) and my stomach felt like there was a stone in it. I woke up this morning sick to my stomach and yet again I was tempted to eat more cupcakes and cookies for breakfast... which I did. The flames and the stone are back, and I am lying on my bedroom floor in agony. I never want to feel like this again. I have always been an advocate of animal rights, and since April I have been eating many vegan meals subconsciously, so I think the transition would be easy. I have lost 17 pounds since April, and I plan on losing 9 more. I'm a cross country runner, and I workout 6 days a week. any advice?

How to Lose Weight and Breastfeed

Recommended Answer:

Even most meat eaters would get sick from eating 5 cupcakes, a bunch of cookies and a submarine sandwich....good lord.Eat what ever you feel is healthy for you but I gotta tell you, you simply ate too much junk all at one time.EDIT: When you asked this same question a couple hours ago, it was 3 cupcakes and 4 cookies...are you just keeping on eating cupcakes and cookies and complaining about how you feel or are you trolling??

  • Ryan gave you some good advice. "Living Vegan for Dummies" is a good book to simplify eating Vegan.Hard lesson to learn (eating junk food and physical results), just remember, Vegan desserts contain sugar and usually high calories...(the donuts, cakes, cookies) also. The grad party was for you? Notify your parents you are eating as a Vegan and help them learn about it and the foods that are a no-no for you.Going Vegan is a good choice for other species and your health. It is easy to get enough protein, nutrients, despite what flesh eaters may try and tell you. (again, the above aforementioned books lists such info.)Learn from the hard lesson you suffered through and honestly if you stick to healthy eating you will eventually not crave the junk food.
