Exercises to pop out your ass?

I''ve been trying to pop my butt out by doing squats. I''ve been doing it for almost 2 months, and I did not see any result.
Any other things I could do to make my butt bigger?

Pssst! The Secret to Losing Weight

Recommended Answer:
The right cardio exercise and weight training activities (like squats
and deadlifts) can make a difference in your backside and help you get
those buns of steel. Find out the best cardio and strength training
exercises for strengthening and firming up your rear.
1. Squats.
Squats are one of the best exercises you can do for your hips, butt
and thighs. Stand with feet hip-width apart and squat, keeping back
straight, abs in and knees behind your toes. Let your butt lightly
touch chair and squeeze butt to stand up. Repeat for 2-3 sets of 8-12
reps and add weights for more intensity.
2. Lunges. Stand in a split
stance, with feet about 3 feet apart. You want both knees to be at
about 90-degree angles at the bottom of the movement, so adjust
accordingly. Hold weights in each hand (or place a barbell behind the
neck) for added intensity. Bend the knees and lower the back knee
toward the floor, keeping the front heel down and the knee directly
over the centre of the foot. Keep the torso straight and abs in as you
push through the front heel and back to starting position. Don''t lock
the knees at the top of the movement. Perform 1 to 3 sets of 10 to 16
reps according to your fitness level and goals.
3. Step Ups. For step
ups, you simply place one foot on a step or platform and push through
the heel onto the step. This is an excellent exercise for the glutes.
4. Hip Extensions. Lie on the floor with feet propped on the ball,
legs straight. Keeping abs tight, slowly lift your hips off the floor
(squeezing the buttocks) until body is in a straight line. Hold for a
few seconds and lower, repeating 10 to 15 times.
5. One-Legged Deadlifts. You should skip this exercise if you
have any back problems. To do this move, take the left leg back just a bit, lightly
resting on the toe. With the weights in front of the thighs, tip from
the hips and lower the weights as low as your flexibility allows. Keep
your back flat or with a natural arch and make sure you keep the abs
contracted to protect the back. Squeeze the glutes of the working leg
to raise back up. Do 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps.
6. Hiking. Now the
exercises listed above aren''t the only strength moves for the glutes,
but we often forget that there are cardio activities that will also
engage the backside. Hiking is one of those activities and it also
burns tons of calories. Also, walking up an incline automatically gets
your glutes more involved and, if you''re wearing a backpack, you''re
really getting a workout. A 140-lb person burns about 390 calories in
about an hour!
7. Biking. Riding a bike is great for your heart and it
also targets almost every muscle in your hips, thighs and butt. On a
stationary bike, alternate 3 minutes at 70-80 RPM with 2 minutes at
100-110 RPM for a calorie-blasting 30 minute workout. You can also try
Spinning at the gym or riding outside. Gear up to really work your
glutes! A 140-lb person burns 335 calories in 45 minutes.
8. Running. Running, like walking, is accessible, easy to learn, reduces stress,
helps in weight loss, and it makes you feel good. Plus, it really
works your butt, especially when you add a few hills to your regular
running route. A 140-lb person burns 475 calories during a 45 minute
jog.
9. Kickboxing. Kickboxing was a hot item back in the day, but it''s
still a great workout. Controlled kicks work your hips, thighs and
butt while complex combinations that include punches will target your
abs to make them stronger. A 140-lb woman will burn up to 500 calories
with 45 minutes of kickboxing.
10. Walking. Walking is easy: you can do
it anywhere, anytime with no special equipment. There''s no learning
curve and it''s something you can incorporate all day long. If you walk
up hills, you can really target your glutes and, if you pick up the
intensity, you''ll burn some of that extra flab off your buns! A 140-lb
person burns about 300 calories an hour during a brisk walk.

  • you should start sit ups
  • Ballet warm up exercises are great for muscle tone.

Does Zumba really work?

So i literally just started Zumba it was so much fun. Many people have told me that they lost a lot of weight. I was just wonder if it really does work? If so, how long would it take to lose 4 pants sizes?

Choose The Best Way To Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
Absolutely,

To lose weight you need to do AEROBIC (cardio) exercises on nearly a daily basis. This will initiate oxidative phosphorylation (fat burn) within the cells. Get your heart rate around 100-140 bpm for 1-2 hrs. *walking/anaerobic doesn’t do much weight wise.
You also need to reduce intake of sugars, bad carbs and saturated fats. Drink water. Eat healthy. Eating way too little can cause weight retention. You CANNOT lose weight in one specific part of your body, but rather evenly across the body. Counting calories? Just keep ‘em moderate and do the aforementioned.
Some examples of aerobic exercises are running, zumba, dance, hard swimming, p90x, insanity, sports et cetera. Get your heart a pumpin’.
It will take dedication but the payoff is well worth it. Easy things are not worthwhile.
Take care!

It depends, that's how long it would take you to lose 4 pants sizes.

how long will it take to lose 30 pounds?

so, a little about me: 20 years old, female, 5'2'', 145 pounds, 27% body fat, doctor says my ideal weight is between 115 and 120 pounds, so I'm looking to lose around 30 pounds, preferably as soon as possible. here's my basic diet/exercise plan:

*1,200 calories per day, vegan diet
*1 T apple cider vinegar before each meal
*protein shake/smoothie for breakfast and dinner (one made with spinach, berries, banana, almond milk, and vegetable-based protein powder, the other made with berries, soy milk, flax seeds, and soy protein powder)
*salad with lots of veggies, some beans, and olive oil and vinegar for lunch
*2 snacks a day: apple + almond butter, veggies and hummus
*2 C green tea per day
*supplements including raspberry ketones, white kidney bean extract, Tonalin CLA, and a multivitamin

exercise:
*1.5 hours of cardio 5-6x a week (treadmill, elliptical, bike, Zumba, etc)
*30 minutes weight training 6x a week (3 days upper body, 3 days lower body, 1 day rest)
*1 hour yoga dvd on my rest day

so...how long will it take to lose around 30 pounds? also, about how many dress sizes would I lose?

thanks!

Top Five Tips to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
Probably 2 months. You would loose more inches than pounds

  • I'm not a girl so this may/may not help but I'll say it because I think it's for everyone.
An average person needs 2000 calories to maintain their body weigh.
    1 pound of fat = 3500 calories
Drop the protein shake from your diet, you're not trying to build muscle (muscle weighs more than fat by the way)
Fruits may seem good but they do have a lot of sugar so be careful with them.
Tea is very good but be careful with the sugar you add and use non-fat milk. I don't remember the details but 2% milk isn't really 2% fat, it actually has 50% fat or something like that so just use complete non-fat.
Don't do heavy weight training, you need more cardio and use light dumbbells while doing it.
Not too sure about almond milk, I think almonds generally have lots of fat but maybe the milk is different, check up on that.

So yeah, that's pretty much everything I got from your list. Using the information, you can probably calculate how much you'll lose a week (it looks to me you'll lose about 2 pounds a week). This is all from my years of planning my workouts but never actually doing them (I am such a procrastinator ...)
  • Lose the unapproved supplements. I know your doctor didn't recommend the cider vinegar, protein shakes, ketones, bean extract, or CLA.
80% of weight loss is diet.
You can eat a healthy diet and lose weight.
You can eat a healthy diet and exercise and lose more weight.
You can exercise and eat a poor diet and not lose and even gain weight.
A good healthy diet high in fiber, lean meats, eggs, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, antioxidant foods, healthy beverages and low in added sugar and salt help people lose weight, lower cholesterol, increase energy, improve brain function, lower blood pressure, reduce cancer risk and have a more positive lifestyle!
You need to eat a lot more food and a lot more fiber!
Diets that exclude foods from any food group are fad diets and do not lead to permanent weight loss or solve any other health issues.
First, try to kick your fiber intake to 40 grams of both soluble and insoluble fiber.
Whatever you do, get your fiber from your food, not from a jar.
Fruits and vegetables have good fiber in them. A high fiber diet increases the metabolism.
Try a breakfast cereal with at least 20% of recommended daily allowance of fiber in it. They are usually low in sugar so there is a double benefit. Blueberries or raspberries on top add more fiber and antioxidants. But fresh or frozen, not the kind in syrup. Oatmeal with berries or a bit of fresh honey is also good.
Raw nuts are a great source of fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Avocados are the best.
Lots of beans, peas, and grains are high fiber. Whole grain breads. Fiber kicks up the metabolism so you actually burn more calories. These foods will give you more gas in the beginning but if eaten daily, the bacteria in the digestive tract will elevate lowering the gas output.
This will get you on the path for a healthy daily bowel movement. This helps clean the system and aids healthy digestion. A high fiber diet reduces transit time - the amount of time it takes food from when it is eaten to when it is expelled. This reduces toxicity in the system both from internally produced, ingested, and external toxins.
I know it goes against everything you've heard or read but eating lots of the right foods will actually help you lose weight!
Next, take an age appropriate basic daily multivitamin. Don't look at your multivitamin as nutrition but more as an insurance policy. Think of it as filling in the gaps in your daily diet as opposed to a primary source of nutrients.
You have to drink lots of water to be healthy. But you can disguise it. Fill your glass all the way full with ice before pouring low sugar beverages. Try iced green tea with a splash of orange juice in it for sweet. More antioxidants. Add lemon juice to water for flavor. Slice up a cucumber and float it in pitcher of water. Gives it salty fresh taste. But you must drink up to 100 oz of water daily to help your body get rid of waste and the natural toxins.
Last, you need to get 8-9 hours of quality sleep depending on your age. All recent sleep studies report a connection between poor sleep patterns and weight gain. This includes going to bed as close to the same time every night including weekends. Most of us stay up late Friday and Saturday night and it throws us off.
You must combine a healthy diet with exercise to multiply the benefit. Whether an hour a day in the weight room or just a 30 minute brisk walk every day, the added benefit of a regular exercise program really do increase and accelerate healthy weight loss.

I lost 30 pounds in 5 months by spending my money at the grocery and gym and have kept it off for over two years. Less than 3% of people that attempt weight loss lose it and keep it off for two years. It is not easy. It is a lifestyle change.
    Good luck and good health.

Foods to Lose Weight Healthily

Recommended Answer:
Eat healthy. Not just fruits and veggies, but meat and yogurt and yummy food. Don't eat junk, but don't stop eating. Eat 6 good portioned meals a day. Spread it so that each of those six meals has around almost exactly 300 calories. That's 1800 calories a day, perfect for losing weight.

Exercise. Like, a lot. Search blogilates on YouTube. Her workouts will shape you up quick! Figure out your limits, get a bit in shape, and then run. Run only until you are tired. Then stop. Then the next day, run until you're tired, then stop. Soon you will be going faster, farther, and your body will shape naturally and healthily. Run trails, roads, back roads, city roads, loops, laps, miles and miles and miles.

And be happy. And realize that everyone else can go **** themselves because you are beautiful and special. No matter what you look like, know in your heart you aren't getting fit for them. You are getting fit for yourself. And not just for looks, but to be healthy and strong. Weak is like a cage, a barrier that limits you, and takes time and patience to break. But strength is freedom. Strength in body and soul. Eat healthy, work healthy, be healthy. And be happy and content.

  • You should eat fruit and veggies just like your friend. And have self control to not eat any junk food. And do exercise but at thr beginning its going to be hard but be strong. Hope this works:)

Switching up my gym routine?

I normally use the treadmill everyday for an hour and I'll usually walk fast on 3.5-3.7 without an incline and then run for 20-30 mins (depending on what my asthma lets me run) on 5.0 without an incline and then the last 20 minutes I'll walk again on 3.5-3.7.
After that I use the machines and do my own pilates moves in an area of the gym and leave. I'm thinking of switching it up this time though because I've been doing this same exact routine for a while now almost everyday and my body is probably really used to it so I want to switch it up.
So my question is..what should I do instead? Should I do 30 minutes on the treadmill, some weights, back on the treadmill then pilates? Should I do treadmill, weights, elliptical, pilates? I don't know, I only find the treadmill to be the most effective for my body compared to the elliptical or any other machine. I'll probably do this new routine for 10 days and then switch it back up to lose weight more effectively.
Can someone help me figure out a good routine or should I just stay with the one I'm on now?

I always have so much trouble trying to come up with a routine and timing myself, or counting sets and reps so I find that it's easier to just do a workout video for exercise. I use p90x or insanity and I like both of them because the routines aren't the same. p90x you can pick what muscle groups you want to workout and insanity is split up by DVD's ( 60 days long) and the intensity increases each DVD. I like it because it takes like the least amount of time compared to going to the gym.I’m not a gym rat and my schedule is pretty tight so this was a good solution for me. You work out from home, so it cannot get more convenient than that. Could be an easy fix for wanting to switch up your routine!

I'm on a diet but gaining weight?

(Sorry, I know I just asked this but I only got 2 answers and I know that after 10 minutes or so, people won't answer it anymore.)

I am a girl teenager, 5'7", and around 155 lbs
I have been trying to lose weight for about 2 weeks now, but I'm actually GAINING weight.

I'm eating under 1,600 calories a day, I'm working out every day for at least an hour, I'm eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, I only drink water, and I'm even taking vitamins. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I know a lot of people could say that I'm gaining muscle, but I don't think that my workouts are vigorous enough that I would be. When I exercise, I do about 20+ push ups, sit ups, and the rest of the time I spend on a stationary bike while lifting 3 lb weights in both arms.

Every morning I get up around 6 AM, and eat a breakfast of peaches and a piece of toast. The rest of the day I eat carrots, bananas, peaches, apples, and lettuce. Other than that is usually just water and a turkey sandwich.

Since I have started trying to lose weight, I have gained 3 lbs. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong/ what I need to be doing? Much appreciated!

Best Exercise to Lose Weight For You

Recommended Answer:
First off it seems as if you aren't getting enough protein to be losing weight! You don't just need protein to gain weight you need it to lose weight. I like that you work out regularly but maybe change it to only 3-4 times a week. What is happening here is that you aren't getting enough protein to burn so by the time you start your work out, despite it being a short workout, there isn't anything to be burn, so you're actually gaining muscle instead, so it's not working out in your favor. You said you gained 3 pounds, that makes perfect sense!

I tell this to a lot of people who need help getting into shape. You need to eat smaller portions, ever 3 hours. Build up your metabolism. And don't just eat fruits and veggies, as healthy as that can be, you need protein( fish, lean meat, egg white, ect) for your body to understand what to burn. I really hope this helped. I lost 22 pounds doing all of this in 6 months, good luck to you! :D

  • even though your exercises aren't that vigorous you could still just be gaining muscle. also i would suggest eating more protein that might help with losing weight and gaining muscle

Please tell me about weight loss tips?

  • Drink ice cold water, 80z of cold water burns about 17.5 calories.
Do only cardio exercises becasue it's not muscular and basically you burn more calories faster
    Some cardio exercsies are:
    walking briskly
    running/jogging
    cycling
    burpees
    frog squats
    lunges
jump roping(in 15 minutes you can burn about 200-300 calories, go at your own pace, dont go non-stop)
Eat around 1,000- 1,300 calories a day to lose 2 pounds a week.
Limits your fruits, eat about 2 or 3 a day
    Eat more vegetables
Never cook vegetables or you will lose the vitamns and nutrients that it has.
  • Eat healthy. You don't have to completely cut out junk food but limit it for sure. Eat FRESH fruits and veggies. Stat active. Run. Don't eat too LITTLE CALORIES!
  • I would say :
    - Eat 6 small meals through out the day, rather than 3 large meals. This will keep your bodies metabolism going.
    - Cut out/down the carbs, espically white pasta, white rice, bread, eat wholemeal.
    - Do not eat anything after 7/8pm, epsically no/very little carbs for dinner.
    - Go gym at least, 3-5 times a week, weight training( can be heavy or light) + cardio is the optimum combination to lose the weight.
    - Drink lots of water. Cut out all the fizzy drinks.
    - Calorie count, keep a diary of what you eat and how many calories you have had, this will enable you not to over eat.
    - Protien shakes, such as diet whey, is great for calorie control and weight management, - I have used these as a healthy alternative for a meal if I am on the go, or in a rush.
    - Eat lots of fruit, however be careful not to over do it, fruits contain alot of sugar
    - Grapefruits, blueberries are great for weight loss.
  • green tea and fruits

Is my life messed up or what?

I am force fed this gross muck that help me gain weight, I am losing confidence and I feel fat and down all the time. I have so many things in my life that need to be done, but I never have the motivation. I have a brother that makes me feel like I don't deserve to live, tried to drown me when I was 5, and strangle me when I was 8. I want to kill myself, and I'm already doing self harm, my parents oblivious to it. My relatives, counselors, and "friends" turn a deaf ear when I talk to them about this stuff. My friends don't exist, they're just nice people. I'm a star student in everything and it puts a lot of stress and jealousy on me. I am often humiliated and bullied by people, and my life is a mess. I try to sort things out neatly, I play them out one by one like cards in my head. I end up failing every time. I really messed up my life. What do I do.........
@chloe I do. Every night. 20 mins. In a quiet room. With incense.

How to loose weight? Im eating like 1000 calories a day and cant get rid of no more weight please help?

How Thai Food Can Help You Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
Try temporarily upping your calorie intake. Sometimes your body reaches a plateau after a long period of restricted intake. If you eat a normal amount, then your body doesn't stress from the restricted intake and will allow for more fat to be lost.

Also, if you're exercising a lot, then you might be losing fat and gaining muscle. So even though your weight doesn't change, you end up smaller.

  • Do high intensity cardio
  • Well how long have you been doing it? Losing weight takes a lot of time.
  • To little calories. A female needs around 1200-1300 calories daily to lose weight healthy. A male needs around 1300-1500 daily to lose weight healthy. 1000 calories daily will crash you'r metabolism which will put you'r body into starvation mode, that means that you'r body will spare every calorie it gets to make the body work. So excercise, eat right and healthy and not under 1200. Good luck!

  • First off, don't stress about weight - it's easy to let yourself become obsessed with it. Best way to lose weight is to eat sensibly and be as physically active as possible - dull answer I know but there are no magic answers worth wasting your time with.

Once again, try not to keep weight-loss in perspective.

    Good luck!
  • 20 pounds = 70,000 calories.

Let's set the goal at 700 calories a day:

    1) Cut out 200 calories a day from your diet. This could mean substitution water for juice and soda, not using butter, and skipping the pasta and bread.

    2) Since walking a mile burns about 100 calories, walking five miles a day will take care of the other 500, for a total of 700 per day.

You will lose a pound a week, and it is so simple.
  • Hi, here is a simple way to do that;
Have some Special K at least once per day and have your fill of the many different types of Veggies salads out there at least twice per day. Alternate between Salad and Cereal as the mood arises and you should be on your way.

How do I lose my weight that I gained after I quit swim?

I used to swim competitively for about 5 years, but I recently had to quit in order to get a job. My job takes up almost all of my free time, and I gained a little weight from quitting. I don't have time to go to the gym, and I barely eat anything anymore, but I'm still pudgy and I don't know why. How can I get skinny (preferably fast) without having to go to the gym, or cut out any more food from my intake?

How Thai Food Can Help You Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
Keep in mind that after 5 years of swimming competitively, your body is used to having constantant muscle strain and build up.
Assuming that you haven't had the time to work out as often as you had, it really makes since that your muscle deffination would begin to sag and loosen.
Don't worry about it! Just work out when you get the chance. And DON'T starve yourself. Your body needs a certain amount of food to survive, and if you aren't eating very much, your body isn't getting the essential vitamins and nutrients it needs to stay fit. You are probobly a little low on potasium, which keeps your skin and muscles tight. Bananas and coconuts are very high on potasium, so I would reccomend maybe buying coconut water! It is tasty and seems to kill sweet cravings for me, and is very high in potasium!

Good luck! I hope I helped. :)

  • If you cut food out of your diet your body will hang on to all the calories it consumes because it doesn't know when it will be able to replenish any lost calories. Unless you work 20 hours a day every day I can't fathom you not having time to spare for a gym routine, it only takes 45 minutes a day. As for a slim fast cure all one doesn't exist unfortunately, only time and dedication.

How to gain weight faster and heathy atleast in 1 month?

Ok, I need to gain weight because I am underweighted I'm 13 girl I don't wish to get fat but I want to be good looking and don't say just eat cause I want a good and great tips. Thanks

How Thai Food Can Help You Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
Eating a high calorie diet is only 1/3 of the things you need to do. You will also have to sleep well and do the right workout to gain weight and maintain it steadily. You can be rest assured you will not turn out unmanly when you do the workout because your body simply has lesser muscle building hormones and the workout only helps you to create an appetite and maintain your body weight better than compared to fat which you might lose due to your high metabolism like me.

The key thing about diet is to eat more calories. This does not mean you feed yourself huge meals 3 times a day. This will lead to indigestion, gastric pains and other digestive complications because there is only so much your body can digest at one time. The idea is to eat more meals a day, preferably 6. This can be difficult if you are on the move all day like I'm so I suggest just stick to your 3 meals like you do but bring a long a liter of milk with you before you leave the house. Drink 500ml of milk in between each of your meal and finish the last dose 2 hours after dinner. This will provide the extra calories you need to gain weight. If after a week your weight is still not going up, simply increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml and stick to your normal portions for your normal meals. Keep doing this until you gain the weight you need to. You should be putting on roughly a pound a week in my opinion. Once you gotten 2-3 pounds, it is time to focus on getting the right workout to help you build muscles and ensure that your body gain weight more steadily.

The best workout to do in order to grow muscle mass in terms of size is to do a high weight low repetition workout called hypertrophy. This will adjust your muscles to use the food you eat as the main source of energy rather than oxygen like smaller muscles do. If you are starting out to gain muscle mass, perhaps you should download the program at http://gohforth.com. This program has been extremely effective for me personally and also benefited my clients very well.

One thing that many people miss out is the fact that sleep is extremely important to help you gain weight and maintain a strong immune system. This is because when you stay up late, have interrupted sleep cycle or not enough hours of rest, you will burn more calories throughout the day and this means that you have to eat more or risk loosing weight. This is made worse if your metabolism is like mine in the past and this will probably mean you will lose up to 3-4 pounds in a week due to poor quality sleep. The road is long and tough, but as long as your stick by the 3 things which is a high calorie diet, sleep well and do the right workout regime, you will see roughly a 1 pound of muscle weight gain a week. I hoped I have helped you.

  • Whole wheat and even exercising can help you gain muscle weight if you would like but eat whole grain bread if you want to gain weight fast
  • Intermittent fasting....eat 3-4 meals in a 6-8 hour time period. Fast for the rest.
  • Eat chicken it healthy . I don't mean fried chicken. I mean grilled. If you want to be good looking you need to EAT and exercise too . So that you burn the extra calories you ate .
  • Well i am just going to say eat.

Eat foods high in fat, but not bad fats. Eg- Avacado, nuts, fish.
Eat protiens and foods with iron in- watercress, lentils, eggs, meat.

Just don't exercise, just make sure to eat 3 healthy meals a day with the contents of above, adding some carbohydrates too. Snack on things between meals. You should be able to put at least a few pounds on.
  • Good weight gaining combinations are bread, cereals, pasta, rice, potatoes or sweet potatoes combined with meat, poultry, eggs, cheese, nuts or sea food. Peanut butter sandwiches and cheese sandwiches are good combinations.

The protein in the above combinations will help to gain extra muscles.

If food doesn't work perhaps you could try bodybuilding in the gym.

How to Lose Weight very FAST?

I know if I exercise and stop eating fats I will lose weight. But is that healthy?

Fastest Way to Lose Weight

Don't stop eating all fats as your body needs it. Basically what fat does is acts as insulation and storage. If you want to lose weight, realize that your body won't want to give up it's storehouses and insulation. The fastest way to lose weight is probably to run. (Sprint intervals are probably best but distance is good too.) When you run, however, your body will first go after your muscle, especially if you run distance. To counter this, also build your muscles with weights/body weight training. Make sure you have plenty of water! Also, eating healthily will help give your body the nutrients it needs to work well.

  • no you just need to eat normally and exercise you just need to stop eating food that we dont need in our body and drink allot of water throught the day
  • Of course it's healthy. Just don't eat BAD fats- like junk food. Good fats are needed, such as the ones found in avocados Stick to a 1500 calorie diet and get in an hour of cardio a day. You'll lose weight fast if you can commit!

Should i start lifting or lose some weight?

PLEASE READ THIS:

I have Pectus Carinatum, and thankfully i gain a portion of my weight in my torso, so over the years i have been determined to gain weight and try to hide my disorder. Now i am 6'7", 225 pounds, male and 16 years old. I am asking you if i should lose weight or keep on gaining muscle through muscle and fat?

Not only do i want to hide my disability, i want to be big and strong, not for a particular sport, but just because being big is an awesome feeling. But anyway, should i start to watch my weight, or gain more weight?
