Check with the pet store. Ask them if there's a possibility she was with any males. If she was, then start counting from the last possible day she was with a male. Guinea pig pregnancies are around 70 days. Lots of times pet stores mis-sex guinea pigs. Often when someone buys a pig, the pig gains weight in the new home. Perhaps that's what's going on.There's really no where that you press to determine pregnancy. A vet might palpate, but even that's not conclusive. To really find out you'll need an ultrasound.Other Answers:
- You really don't have to press on her stomach anywhere but rather determine if the other guinea pig is a male or female. It's quite easy. Here is a link http://www.cavyspirit.com/sexing.htm - if it's a female, no problem and most likely if she has been with the same GP for that long and it was a male she most likely would have been pregnant already. But if she is pregnant that site will also give you Information on how to tell.
- if shes preggers she will look wide on her back half of her body.
