Does a change in weight make a big difference in how old a person looks?

I have lost a significant amount of weight this year, and while I don't think anyone would have ever called me fat before, I am definitely slimmed up. The most surprising thing is that I have had a lot of people tell me I look a decade younger since losing weight. I do try and do things to improve my appearance, such as dyeing away gray and keeping my rapidly-thinning hair short, but this weight loss seems to have made a bigger difference than anything, and I wasn't even thinking that it might.Does weight change make a big difference in how old a person looks, or are people just trying to say something nice because they can see I've gotten thinner?Wayf, you is a sweetie. :)You'd be disgusted by my clogged sinuses at the moment though, lol. I HATE having sinus infections!((((((((((Wayfalicious))))))))))

  • Yes, I think so. I was skinny in my early and mid 20s and everyone said I looked like a teenager. Then when I hit about 26 or 27 I gained about 25 lbs and it seemed like I looked my age or older all of a sudden.I happen to be one of thous aging perverts who hangs out at strip clubs more than I should, a girl was asking me how old I was (just before giving me a lap dance) I told her I was 38, she said I looked younger, she was very skinny, ans I thought she was probably late 20s,she told me she wa 32. I don't think she would be that old, but she was still really hot!I'm back home I've said to much, my ears are ringing and I already feel hung over.
