How to Lose Weight Gain Muscle
Recommended Answer:
Loosing weight is entirely dependent on the individual person. Some people can eat more calories than other and still loose weight. Walking is an ok way to loose weight, but if your looking for something to burn calories quicker try swimming, running, and other aerobic exercises that use more muscles in your body. If you want something more enjoyable try picking up a sport like tennis, basketball, etc. This way you will be less likely to skip doing it. But still, diet is the most important factor when loosing weight.Other Answers:
- A slight faster pace than walking is the best way to lose weight.
- The absolutely and truly BEST way to lose weight - simply eat a lot less! Be hungry! It's OK, you won't starve to death. Let that tummy rumble! You would need to walk 34 miles to burn just 1 lb of fat.
- i think gym would be better....walking so much may cause weakness.....
- No, I don't, because walking is just something that you should do every day as a functional member of society. That's not exercise. Walking will never get your heart rate into the cardio zone. At best, it's low-intensity exercise and low-intensity exercise won't even stimulate glycogen breakdown. All it will do is use energy from triglycerides. Is it healthier than sitting on a couch? Sure. That's about all I can say for it. Weight gain/loos/maintenance is mostly just about calories in versus calories out. Contrary to what other people here are saying, the answer is not always "eat less" or "exercise more." Often it is a combination of the two. You could be a very, very inactive person and still maintain a normal weight if you kept your calorie intake low enough. On the flip side, physically active people can, and even need to consume a very large amount of calories in a day and they still maintain a healthy weight doing it. I eat 3500 - 3700 a day. Not only is that not too much, but I need that many calories to sustain my high level of activity.
