How do you diet to loose weight?

I wanna drop 37 pounds in 6 months but I don't no good diets I'm 15 and heavy and I wanna be healthier to please name diets and exercises that can help thanks a lot no fasting I don't want a eating disorder 0_0

Losing weight is about 80% what you eat and 20% exercise, so focus on what you're eating. Change your lifestyle, don't go on a diet. Eat less junk/fast/fried foods and focus on eating a variety of foods including fruits and vegetables, but also lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish, lean beef, plain greek yogurt), healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts, hummus), brown rice, oatmeal, milk, low fat cheese, whole wheat bread, etc.

If you feel hungry, ask yourself, "Do I want some vegetables or just junk food?" If the answer is junk food, then you're not really hungry. Drink a big glass of water and wait 20 minutes. If you still feel hungry, but not for vegetables, then go do something else to keep yourself busy like text a friend or read a book.

If you change your lifestyle and get committed to eating healthier and working out, then you will never have to worry about losing weight for the rest of your life! Doesn't that sound great?! It does to me.

Exercise is important too, but you don't have to exercise to lose weight, but it makes you look better. Try walking, jogging, riding your bike or dancing around the house. Anything that gets your heart elevated for 30-45 minutes at a time, 3-4 times a week is great.
