Hi Kate :) I am going through exactly what you're going through. I find that websites like self.com can help a lot with that. What i do over diet is focus on 7 fruits and vegetables a day, drink LOTS of water, tea before or after every meal (for a faster metabolism) and eat healthy snacks like yogurt. Also, cut on sugar and fatty foods. I've tried diets but the easiest thing to do at this age is just make sure you eat healthy rather than focus on cutting carbs. Also, lots of yoga and running/cardio helps. Jog! And it's better to have a buddy to exercise with, or so i have heard, for motivation. On tumblr, there are lots of blogs for motivation and healthy food tips, such as fit-in-fitness. Hope this helps :)Other Answers:
- excersize an eat right!
- Well you haven't told us how tall you are. I'm 17, 5'10 and weigh 125 which isn't good. You need to work out,eat good food.
- Daily exercise and proper diet...
- Do something active that you also like doing that will easily fit into your daily schedule. For example, I love playing tennis, but after my season finishes in the Spring, I usually play less until it starts back up again. However, last year I went out every day for one hour and played for fun with some friends and I by time summer was over, not only was I physically more capable, but I also lost a considerable amount of weight. So, my suggestion for you is to just meet up with friends or family every day for an hour and play some sort of sport. And if sports are not your thing, then going jogging (or even walking!) really does make a difference. And aside from the physical activity, just try cutting down your favorite junk foods. Like, limit them to a certain amount each week. That way you are helping yourself lose weight, and the snack is all the more cherished when you finally get it! I hope I helped. Good luck!
- if you lose weight you will become underweight, healthy weight for you height is around 126 any lower would be unhealthy and not do your body any good. if you want to slim down your thighs do A LOT of cardio, i mean running, walking if you don't feel like running, swimming if its too hot outside. when wanting to slim down your thighs cardio is your only real friend. if you have access to a gym do the treadmill and the stair master and all those type of things.
- For weight loss, dieting is more effective than exercise. Reducing your intake of junk sugar will help as in items 22 and 106 in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm The natural sugars in fruits are OK as they are metabolised to glucose slowly due to their high fiber content. Fruits are low in calories and are not fattening. Most fruits are metabolism boosting foods and most vegetables as well and that helps for weight loss.
