Tips on losing weight?

I want to lose 50lbs by the end of December. Which is about 10lbs per month. Any tips? I recently started doing zumba & stopped drinking soda. Any exercises I can do or tips that'll help me reach my goal?

Hi Kate :) I am going through exactly what you're going through. I find that websites like self.com can help a lot with that. What i do over diet is focus on 7 fruits and vegetables a day, drink LOTS of water, tea before or after every meal (for a faster metabolism) and eat healthy snacks like yogurt. Also, cut on sugar and fatty foods. I've tried diets but the easiest thing to do at this age is just make sure you eat healthy rather than focus on cutting carbs. Also, lots of yoga and running/cardio helps. Jog! And it's better to have a buddy to exercise with, or so i have heard, for motivation. On tumblr, there are lots of blogs for motivation and healthy food tips, such as fit-in-fitness. Hope this helps :)

  • Well you haven't told us how tall you are. I'm 17, 5'10 and weigh 125 which isn't good. You need to work out,eat good food.

I'm going to be a highschooler! (sarcastic excitement) and realized I stand no chance in anything. Literally the first (and last) time I tried to put on makeup I straight up stabbed myself in the eye. I'm 5"1. A girl called me fat, I spiraled and starved and eventually gained weight making my highest weight 132. I got to 130 then lost weight until I was 120. Summer happened and now I'm 123 but plan to continue my weight loss journey in August.I've never had a bf, or many friends for that matter and my classmates make fun of me and how I look.I try to dress decent but somedays just turn into I-dont-care sweatpants days. So that may be it. My friends have all had multiple friends and boyfriends, are super outgoing, and yes I am jealous a bit. A lotta bit.
