How can I lose weight fast without dieting or too much exercise?

I'm 13 years old, weigh about 150 lbs and I am 5'7 ft. I can't go for a jog in the park. And I try not to ask for seconds at the dinner table. At this time it's summer. I want to reach at least 130 by the time i get back to school. I want to lose weight around my thighs, stomach, and arms. I've asked my family about this and they all say I'm just big boned. Clearly I'm not because I wasn't like this at age 9 or 10. I try to set up my own exercising schedule, but between school and babysitting I can't really do that. I don't play sports anymore. I don't have exercise equipment. I've tried to lay off the junk food but I just keep gaining more pounds. I drink plenty of water. I really would like to get back into shape before school starts.

Well, its impossible to make such a significant weight change without drastically cutting calories or reducing caloric impact through exercise. However, there are little tricks that might help you reduce your calorie intake subconsciously without having to tediously count calories. Before meals, measure out a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix with a quarter cup water. Try to drink the mixture quickly--it will not taste good. Afterwards, take a quarter cup baking water and mix with a teaspoon baking soda, swish and spit--this will protect your gums and throat from the harsh acid. Overall, studies suggest that this improves upon the old idea that "drinking more water helps you lose weight". Drinking vinegar can help you feel more full. Also, try sprinkling cinnamon on everything that you eat. Try to get a tablespoon of cinnamon into your diet (but do not have the whole spoonful at once!). Studies have shown that this increases the rate of your metabolism and helps burn more calories during the course of the day. Also, after eating, do 10 jumping jacks to boost your metabolism and help burn calories faster. For a makeshift classic "diet" just imagine that you are on rations/ you cant afford food, and you can only eat very small snacks at a time, like a single hard boiled egg or 5 peanuts. Soon you will reduce your dependence on high amounts of food and the food will start to taste sweeter. If you want to give reduced calorie diet techniques a try, there are many helpful sites that host free programs and interactive tools: fitday, web MD, livestrong, etc. If you continue to notice weight gain, consult your doctor for a more specialized plan, or to check for possible thyroid disorders.

Other Answers:

  • Dont eat a lot, eat less. Go swimming.
  • Don't have snacks between meals and if you do try fruits!
  • You either have to diet hard or exercise hard. You can't take away both in order to loose weight.
