What''s better? Small Portions Vs...?

So I''m trying to loose a little bit of weight, i want a slimmer figure and a flatter belly. (for graduation and my bff''s birthday party)
So i was just thinking is it better to eat breakfast, and dinner but not lunch? (I''m never really hungry at lunch) or eat smaller portions at lunch and dinner. So which one is more effective into loosing weight?

Eat breakfast, snacks and dinner

VS

Eat smaller portions for lunch and dinner. (and breakfast?)
