- Your BMI at 5''7 and 140 pounds is 21.9 which puts you in the normal weight rage. As long as you eat right, exercise and feel healthy overall then there is no need to loose weight. you could however safely loose 15 pounds and still be in a healthy weight range :)
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
