Is There an Easy Way to Lose Weight?
Recommended Answer:
It is hard to lose that amount in 2 months healthily and if you was to lose that much, then it will pile back on. However, losing 16 pounds in two months is perfectly healthy ( 2 pounds a week) but you will need commitment.
As for eating, do not eat any takeaway food for them two months and make sure you eat a balanced diet (protein, vegetables, dairy, carbohydrates etc). In order to lose weight, you must cut around 500-1,000 calories from your diet (eat around 1,200- 1,800) a day. You may also need to control your portions sizes. Carbohydrates should not be bigger than fist, protein no bigger than deck of cards and dairy should be no bigger than 2 dices.
Exercise is just as important as food. Do at least 30 minutes a day. Walk to school, go for a run, do a muscle workout from the internet, lunge around the house instead of walking, dance, play foot ball or what ever you want! On weekends when you aren''t busy, do some strenuous exercises which will make you sweat and burn loads... remember, you need to burn 3,500 calories to burn 1 pound!
Look on Youtube for set exercise and control your portions and you''ll be able to do it :)
Good luck!
- What everyone else does? Work out? Take a jog, do some sit ups, eat less have a healthy meal..
- 70% of weight loss is diet 30% is excercise. For your diet I would reccomend Paleo: http://goo.gl/scHSq and for workout I would reccomend something heavy with cardio such as insanity:http://goo.gl/XtTne
- Not unless you have a LOT of time on your hands and probably a specialized personal trainer.
- They say for every 3500 calories a week you reduce, that amounts to about a pound, give or take. Combine that with exercise, and the low calorie intake, and you can lose 2-3 pounds a week easily, I know, I just did it and lost 30 pounds in about 8-9 weeks with low calorie (not starvation) and exercise. Try keeping your calories a day around 1,200, as most men eat about 2500 a day and that should do the trick, lots of broth type soups (vegetable, onion, etc) and salads with limited dressing helped me, but you can pick low calorie foods and snacks and count your calories.
