ok so im trying to lose some weight and tone up...im 4'11 123-127 pounds it always changes...anyways i want to get tone before my bf comes to town to visit i feel like a little chubby and i dont feel good about it...i want to look and feel good! anyways i walk home from school everyday i try to do a fast pace when i walk. its about a 35-45 minute walk..when i get home i get kind of sore. like this week i didnt have school on monday so i didnt walk sat.sun and mon ( i dnt walk on weekends home ) and so i felt sore after walking on tuesday ! im not sure its because i got a good walk or because my period is coming up..anyways i have a treadmill at home and i felt like i shouldnt go on it because walking home was enough and im exhausted...but then im thinking i need to start getting in shape quicker because idk if its me but i feel like i look the same. how long should i run for? or should i jog since i already walked all that way and im sore? should i do intervals? help!

How to Lose Weight Drinking Water

You don't say when you boyfriend is coming to town so it is anybody's guess how long you have and you don't say how much you want to weigh so we are left with trying to answer how do you do what you don't specify in an indeterminate amount of time. There is not that much difference between running and walking in terms of calories burned so just walk on the the treadmill for 35-45 minutes but diet is 85% of weight loss (and doesn't leave you sore) so you might think of making changes there. I don't know if this helps at all but if you were 4'11 123-127 pounds when he last saw you and he is coming from out of town to see you again, it sounds like you are plenty toned as far as he is concerned. Just sayin'.

Is eating only cucumber and watermelon everyday bad for you?

I always skip breakfast and lunch, but know all I eat is sliced cucumber and sliced watermelon soaked with lemon and chili powder. That is all I've been eating for the past 2 weeks. N just drinking puss water. I'm 14 n I'm 170 in weight.... Will eating that everyday help me lose weight? I've lost like 3 pounds in the past two weeks.. So is that good?

Yes it is bad for you. A balanced diet is better. Cucumber and watermelon do not give you all the vitamins, minerals and amino acids you need. Your only 14 you don't need to worry about dieting. If you exercise you will burn off what you've eaten. Weight depends on your height. Being a teenager you most likely have a high metabolism, doing sports and being active is a better way of maintaining a healthy body weight.

How to get rid of a fetish?

Im 14 and I have a fat fetish. Its not something I am proud of and I want to get rid of it. I have googled everything from sex psychology to therapy. Nothing had helped. Im still only a child and people would say 'its all in your head' but its not. I get turned on when people gain weight. Its disgusts me and I hate it. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Please dont just write something like 'embrace it' because I cant and I wont.I get turned on but also disgusted. Im so confused. I also cant 'get help' because I dont live near any therapists etc so that means I would have to tell my parents which Im not going to do

How to Lose Baby Weight After Two Years

What you could do is learn to associate fat people with pain. When you see someone that may arouse you, pinch yourself as hard as you can, zap yourself with one of those novelty shockers that look like a lighter or pack of gum, or even hit yourself in the nads. Eventually your subconscious will learn to associate fat people with pain instead of arousal.

How to Break a Weight Loss Plateau

Recommended Answer:

The best program is simply changing your lifestyle. Weight loss is simple. If you consume less calories than you burn, you lose weight. That's really all there is to it. Weight loss is not a fast process, healthy weight loss is 2 pounds per week at most. Weight loss is easy on paper, but takes a lot of willpower and commitment. You need to change your diet to lose weight. If you just work out and exercise you'll create bulk and appear heavier. You need to lose weight simultaneously. If you have problems with cravings, try the 16:8 or 20:4 fast. You fast for 16 or 20 hours, then eat all your calories in 8 or 4 hours respectively. Here's what I did to lose weight on top of that. I lost ten pounds in the first two weeks, but now it's slowed to 2-3 pounds per week.- Limit yourself to 1,200-1,500 calories per day. - Cut out dairy and eggs. There are other, better, and lower calorie food options to get your calcium. Google "Vegetable calcium sources."- Limit, or even better, eliminate meat.- To not eat anything canned, pre-made, or instant. Make all your food yourself, this will healthier and lower calorie.- Do not eat fast food. Even their seemingly "healthy" options are often high calorie.- Drink ONLY water and lots of it.- Do not eat wheat, and severely limit other grains like rice or corn to small, infrequent servings.- Eat fresh or frozen fruits and veggies, and eat a variety. - Get some form of exercise every day. Even if it's just walking for an hour.

Is it possible to lose 15 pounds by May?

I am 5''8 and currently weigh anywhere between 151-153. I''ve been obsessed with weighing myself the past years and have a history of anorexia. When I was at my heaviest I was 174. I lost 20 pounds and eventually got to 135 and was happy. I used Weight Watchers. I don''t feel I need a full program. Over the past year however ive been letting lose and haven''t been on track. Is it possible to lose 15 pounds by May before the summer begins? In desperate need of a selfesteem boost. I also cannot afford to join a gym and have been trying to workout at home. Any words of advice or wisdom?

You appear to have a problem past losing weight. You need to attend to your self esteem.

To lose weight safely and permanently, it takes time and dedication. You need to do aerobic exercises and keep at it so that your metabolism speeds up. Once you are at a particular weight for a few months, your body will try to maintain the new weight and not vary. The first 10 pound are usually fast, and watch your intake of salt because it retains water in your body.

  • 135-140 pounds is a really good weight for your height. Any way you lose weight will not be inexpensive, unless you starve yourself, and I do not recommend that at all. Although you are pretty healthy, dieting is still a good way to keep your health in check. The Atkins Diet gets you results fast, despite how overweight you are. You''re not actually overweight and most people would believe that that would slow down how much you lose. I''m 5''6 and in only four days, I dropped from 138 pounds to 131 pounds, so I''m pretty sure it works. Don''t be fooled though. Most of the weight that you lose in the first phase, (if I were you, I''d cut it down to 1 week instead of 2, because you''re not actually overweight), is water weight. But, it is in fact real weight that is just easier to gain back, so you''ve got to the stick with the diet. Stay away from restaurants period and cook at home. According to the Atkins Diet Phase 1, you should only consume 20 net carbohydrates a day. A little known fact: vegetables are loaded with carbs. Everything you eat in the first phase should be vegetables, meats, cheeses, or dressings (for salads). I eat a lot a day for 20 net carbs and I typically feel full by the end of the day. On the Atkins, you don''t cut back your intake, but moderate what you eat. For breakfast, I can have a 2 egg omelet, a half of cup of spinach, three strips of bacon, and two sausage links. For breakfast, I have a half of cup of cucumbers with ranch, a salad with meat, parmesan cheese, and whatever dressing I crave. For snacks, I usually stick to raw cabbage, which a lot of people find gross, but it''s a great substitute for carrots, which you can not have on the diet. I also have a hardboiled egg for a snack, but be cautious on your egg intake daily because you don''t want to end up with high cholesterol. For dinner, I enjoy whatever meets I want, with cheese, and greenbeans. The first phase is the hardest. The second one is the most enjoyable because you are allowed to add fruits(berries), yogurt, and nuts. ON THIS DIET, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY LOSE 15-20 POUNDS BY MAY, MAYBE EVEN MORE.
  • Ditch the scales and look in the mirror and look at your weight that way to see if your too big or too small!!! I''ve stood on a set of scales twice. I just look in the mirror. I''m as healthy and fit as a bean!! You need to buy the INSANITY COLLECTION- it definitely works!!
Measuring how much you eat works slightly-it''s the excercise that everyone needs!! I consume a mans daily dose of food but I excercise for the amount I consume!! You can eat as many calories as you like-as long as you do the adequate excercise!!

The insanity collection will help tonnes!!!

Hi, Im 16 and im a guy and i want to lose 20 pounds in 2 months. How would i be able to do that?

Is There an Easy Way to Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
It is hard to lose that amount in 2 months healthily and if you was to lose that much, then it will pile back on. However, losing 16 pounds in two months is perfectly healthy ( 2 pounds a week) but you will need commitment.

As for eating, do not eat any takeaway food for them two months and make sure you eat a balanced diet (protein, vegetables, dairy, carbohydrates etc). In order to lose weight, you must cut around 500-1,000 calories from your diet (eat around 1,200- 1,800) a day. You may also need to control your portions sizes. Carbohydrates should not be bigger than fist, protein no bigger than deck of cards and dairy should be no bigger than 2 dices.

Exercise is just as important as food. Do at least 30 minutes a day. Walk to school, go for a run, do a muscle workout from the internet, lunge around the house instead of walking, dance, play foot ball or what ever you want! On weekends when you aren''t busy, do some strenuous exercises which will make you sweat and burn loads... remember, you need to burn 3,500 calories to burn 1 pound!

Look on Youtube for set exercise and control your portions and you''ll be able to do it :)

Good luck!

  • What everyone else does? Work out? Take a jog, do some sit ups, eat less have a healthy meal..
  • 70% of weight loss is diet 30% is excercise. For your diet I would reccomend Paleo: http://goo.gl/scHSq and for workout I would reccomend something heavy with cardio such as insanity:http://goo.gl/XtTne
  • Not unless you have a LOT of time on your hands and probably a specialized personal trainer.
  • They say for every 3500 calories a week you reduce, that amounts to about a pound, give or take. Combine that with exercise, and the low calorie intake, and you can lose 2-3 pounds a week easily, I know, I just did it and lost 30 pounds in about 8-9 weeks with low calorie (not starvation) and exercise. Try keeping your calories a day around 1,200, as most men eat about 2500 a day and that should do the trick, lots of broth type soups (vegetable, onion, etc) and salads with limited dressing helped me, but you can pick low calorie foods and snacks and count your calories.
