But I am extremely worried and I wanted to see if I had any signs :)
1. I pee about 3-4 maybe 5 times a day (more when I''m not active)
2. I get randomly dizzy (been happening ever since I was 6)
I don''t have any other symptoms, I''m average weight (45kilos) and average height and no-one in my family had diabetes...but I have a bad diet, which in the holidays consisted of pretty much, chocolate, milk, water & pasta, but in the last 3 weeks, fruit and veg.
I am hoping I don''t have it, I really do, and I''m willing to be more healthy and fit but I hope I don''t have it!
P.S Don''t even mention ''tests'' or ''doctors'' it''s not happening.
P.P.S I don''t have any increased need for water or going to the bathroom
How Can I Lose Weight in a Healthy Way?
Recommended Answer:
I doubt very much, your mum was pulling your leg !
Symptoms include, rapid weight loss, excessive peeing ( on average 6 times a day is perfectly acceptable ) Excessive thirst,( no matter how much you drink you are still thirsty ? )
Sweating and shaking, bad headaches, and very bad mood swings are also symptoms.
If you have non of these , then I bet you are fine.
a simple urine test at the gp can determine if you have a lot of sugar in your urine, then they may consider a fasting glucose test , I don;t think you need these. stop worrying ! :)
- You sound ok.
- Impossible to determine without a test.
