How to Lose Weight Fast at Home

Recommended Answer:

If you eat a well-balanced healthy diet and avoid calorie rich foods containing sugars, oils, fats, and flavor enhancers, then your chances of attaining a healthy BMI is high. The exercise is good, but not as important as maintaining a healthy diet.Make sure to eat lots of dark leafy greens (kale, chard, collards), vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and whole fruits. When you eat, make sure to eat a measured portions. Do not wash down your meals with drinks. Do not drink anything 10 minutes before a meal, and do not drink anything within 45 minutes of a meal.Give yourself a fast of at least 12 hours between dinner and breakfast.I lost 100 pounds on a Whole Food, Plant Based (WFPB) diet which for me was a subset of the gluten free vegan diet. How can I lose weight efficiently?

I'm 14, 5'8, 250 lbs and desperate. For years I've been trying to lose weight and obviously to no avail. Everything I hear that is healthy gets contradicted. I hear exercise is great, but then I'm told you'll only lose 2 pounds a week and it's better to just eat (because the solution to my eating problem is to just eat more, makes perfect sense.) My main problems are this here.1. I don't have any choice over what I eat. My family is really low on money living paycheck to paycheck. They get something and I either eat it or starve. As you can imagine my household members are large too. We often get cheap processed foods because it's all we can afford. The money shortage is also why I can't look for professional health from a doctor.2. I have no way to exercise. I'm not allowed to even go outside because my parents are control freaks and to them walking out the door would be getting shot to death. They never take me anywhere no matter how much I ask. I've tried going to the park, but nope. I'd love a gym membership, but that is out of the question because of the transport and money issue. I've been trying to walk to school (5 min walk) but still no. I'm so sick of being this damn fat. I have to wear a jacket everywhere I go because I'm so ashamed of my hideous body. You can imagine that's very hot and uncomfortable. It's embarrassing when I shop for clothes and they don't even have my size in a men's. I start my freshman year at high school tomorrow, and I just want this weigh to go away ASAP so that I can work on getting a girlfriend and some regular friends. And I know a few jackasses are just gonna put stuff like "oh you're just fat loose the weight or die lardo"or "you sound like a spoiled brat and the only thing your daddy did wrong was not beating you more" but I'm looking for serious help and if you wanna be an ass about it then go ahead. Wouldn't be the first time and defidentally won't be the last.A few things I forgot: I've been living on soda and sweet tea for most of my life. Can't remember the last time I drank water. I hate the taste of it and it makes me nauseous. Is 100% natural fruit juice a healthy alternative to water? I love fruits, especially apples, bananas, and any type of berry (strawberry is my favorite fruit)

How to Lose Weight By Eating Fruits

Maybe try looking up some easy inexpensive healthy recipes and ask your parents if they'd like to give it a try. You could even offer to cook or help cook (it's actually a lot of fun.)Perhaps you could ask your parents if you can walk to school with friends and classmates and text your parents once you reach school to let them know you arrived safely. This is what my parents did with my sibling and I. 100% fruit juice isn't a good alternative to water. You can definitely have an 8 oz glass a day to fulfill your vitamin C requirements, though. If you dislike water, I'd recommend squeezing some lemons and lime into it to add a bit of flavor. You could also try making tea without the sugar (add a bit of honey or Truvia if you want it to taste sweet.) You could also add a splash of fruit juice so it has a hint of juice flavor to it. It's difficult right now, but things will get better. I'd suggest talking to your school nurse about it since it's free and your nurse is a helpful resource. http://www.choosemyplate.gov/ is also a great website to check out. All the best! <3

How to Burn Body Fat and Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:

Eat healthy and exercise, cut out soda and junk food. Eat plenty of veggies. Get your friends involved in your workouts, you can talk and have fun while exercising. Makes it feel less like work. Also, to those who are complaining about a young girl being on birth control. Birth control also helps regulate periods, I took it around that age for that reason when I was younger, it could be her reason too. Educate yourselves before you talk badly.

  • You won't loose 20lbs. Even if you did you'd have to stay on that diet to maintain it.Why the fuck are you on birthcontrol at 14 anyway?

  • 6-12 months, if you breastfeed.
  • I'm "the cow" who walked out of the maternity hospital wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans. I then lost more weight while breastfeedingAll I can say is its taken 9 months to put the weight on so give yourself time to loose it! There is no rush and the important thing is to be looking after your baby and yourself firstEat healthy, do gentle exercise like walking with baby in pram and it'll come off when it comes off
  • Years. I'm not one of those lucky btches who lost all the weight and more during two weeks of breastfeeding. I couldn't remove a single pound while I was nursing. I'm not alone. My youngest is nearly five and I nearly had this wild hormone shift. My pre-pregnancy figure is coming back slowly. Granted, I stopped trying to lose weight after busting my butt four years ago only to end up exhausted, starving and still fat. Still. It took me years. I hope it doesn't take you that long, but if it does, you're not alone.
  • With my first it was rlatively quickly, about 7 months. But I believe that breastfeeding was what saved me. I did no excersize and followed no diet until my eldest was 5 months old. I just did a bit of walking and a few sit ups in the morning for those final two months to get rid of the last 5 killograms, and I did not really change my diet all that much, I might have avoided sweet things and kept away from fizzy and sugary drinks, but other than that I did nothing out of the ordinary. I had picked up 20 killograms with my first pregancy! But the kilos just melted off me. And it's not like I'm naturally thin, or anything, I've always had to watch my weight. Breast feeding turned out to be the most effective weight loss program I could have taken! But with my second, he is now 3 months old, I'm already seeing that I'm going to have to diet and join a gym. :-(
  • I ate responsibly while pregnant and didn't put on much weight at all. I didn't eat junk and crap (only occasionally) and made sure I had a healthy diet as much as possible. Of course I didn't starve myself, I did eat enough not to be hungry, but I snacked on carrots instead of potato chips and my desserts were fruits instead of chocolate...And then I breastfed and I went down one size under my original size within a month after giving birth and stayed that way.So I think it all depends on how you eat now and how you eat after the baby is born.Edit: I didn't start excercising (apart from walking with my baby in the park - if you could call this excercising really...) till my baby was 9 months old as I was worried if it would reduce my milk supply. I just only ate healthy (and I didn't starve myself at all, I did eat all the time when I was hungry) And I was 37 when I gave birth.
  • I had lost all of it by my 6 week check up.
