How to Lose Stomach Weight Fast

I love your effort. In my amateur opinion and based upon experience, you should do crunches, aerobic activities to lose weight apart from running because it builds muscles. Also, you could lose the fat first by lowering your caloric intake, do long walks instead, and then tone or tighten your muscles by running. (If you have too much fat, rigorous activities is the perfect quotient for a heart attack. Your waist line shouldn't exceed 36" because it could lead to other problems, too. Check out one of the studies here, http://channels.isp.netscape.com/homerealestate/package.jsp?name=fte/waist37/waist37.)If you have an ideal BMI in mind, find out what your weight should be and the amount of calories you need to get there and maintain it. A calorie counter, http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm, will help with this, and learn what's in your food, http://calorielab.com/index.html.I know people who never stepped in a gym and have visibly beautiful muscles. In addition to running, you could cycle or pedal while sitting in a chair. Even better, stretch out your legs and flex your feet as far up and back as they could go holding each for a second and count as many as you could and push each day for the same amount. The body works best when it's programmed, so do 50-100 and each week add more seconds while doing that amount every day. You will see your calves contracting and retracting. If you could do this five times a week, you will see results in a month.Hey, but don't forget, you should consult with your doctor before you start any exercise regimen.PS: Being my own doctor keeps me out of the doctors office. Prevention is always good!Other Answers:

I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.Other Answers:
How Does Losing Weight Affect Health?
Recommended Answer:
1) Never2) You need to study for this one. Goals first, then plan your workout3) NoneProtein supplements are not the answer to weight gain. Food is.If you're an ectomorph (very thin/skinny) or near ectomorph you will have difficulty gaining weight because of your somatype, not because of metabolism. So, if you want to change that and add some pounds there are two ways to do it. Both may work and neither may work. Your success is going to ultimately depend on your body chemistry which is inherited (genetic).FATThe difference between naturally fat and naturally thin people is the number of fat cells in their body. An endomorph may have as many as 250 billion adipocytes (fat cells) while the ectomorph may only have about 50 billion. There's no way to change your total adipocytes or their distribution throughout your body. How fat or thin you are has almost nothing to do with metabolism. You can try adding fat by eating more food. You should eat a proper diet which is about 50/20/30 (%calories from carbs/fats/protein respectively) and just consume more food. You should NOT eat junk food, increase your carbs, take supplements, consume more fat, etc. Just eat a proper, well balanced diet in increase the portions (serving sizes). If you are able to add body fat, you will have no control over where the fat goes or how it looks. In other words, the result could be "skinny fat" which is probably less appealing aesthetically than skinny. And, of course, if you don't like the fat, you'll just have to lose it to get back to where you were.MUSCLEYou can try adding muscle. It is always good to try to add muscle because muscle is the best metabolic investment you can make. Here are some of the benefits of strength training.• Stronger bones & increased mineral density (osteoporosis protection)• Stronger body & musculature (improved protection from injury)• More robust organic and systemic fitness (more survivable in crisis) • Improved cardio-vascular function (better than "cardio")• Higher basal metabolic rate (~5-50 cal/day/pound of muscle)• Easier fat loss (more efficient lipid consumption)• Greater calorie consumption (prolonged afterburn)• Supports body sculpting (hypertrophy)• Slows natural loss of muscle mass (sarcopenia) over age 30Adding muscle is a very slow and difficult process. Watch this video for more about that ---> http://www.youtube.com/user/scooby1961#p/search/0/Xcuhi6RaZ24 . On average males can add no more than about a pound of muscle per month and females can add about 20% less and that is only under ideal circumstances which are rare. However, if you're a teen, you may find adding muscle to be almost impossible because you will not have your lifetime maximum of testosterone (the muscle building hormone) until about your mid20s. Adding muscle means very intense (and painful) training for a few hours per week and usually requires a gym or gym facilities. It also requires some understanding of how to train (exercise physiology, kinesiology, muscle anatomy, etc) which usually means some time spent with a personal trainer. Adding muscle is a difficult and long term process and, once the muscle is added, the training must continue to maintain the muscle.Ectomorphism is an unhappy an occurrence because being very thin can effect self esteem and inhibit social interaction. However, the ectomorph will usually, in adult life, find it easier to achieve and maintain an ideal or close to ideal body weight because people naturally tend to grow fatter and/or more robust as they grow older....especially with proper diet and training. In other words, being underweight now may be paying it forward. You may reap the benefits with a nice body while your midlife peers are fighting the battle of the bulge.Note - Do not use pills, tonics, supplements, shakes, or other products which claim they can help increase body weight without first checking with your doctor. The scammers are very much aware of the plight of the ectomorph and there are scores or companies with products and advertising all designed to capitalize on your misfortune for their profit. Don't be a sucker. So, they may not be ideal. But those are your two options. Jog/Walk a mile when you wake up & before bed. Only drink water. It seems to me like you're really looking to tone your body, not lose a bunch of weight. Do 30 crunches, sit ups, and push ups every day. Leg lifts, squats, whatever. Do toning exercises along with the jogging. Eat complex carbs (whole grains, fruits, veggies) & proteins low in fat (oatmeal, lean chicken, deli turkey, etc.)Other Answers:
The Oprah Paradox - Why is Losing Weight So Hard, Even For Oprah?
Recommended Answer:
The best way to loose weight is gradually so you won''t be as likely to put it back on. It sounds like you only need (or want) o loose about 5-10 pounds which is most definitely doable in a period of two months! Remember:
1) the weight is not going to come off overnight
2) eat clean for 6 days of the week and treat yourself on the 7th. well, you don''t need to do this but it works for a lot of people :-)
3) by ''eating clean'' I don''t mean just salads or whatever. Don''t believe those ''dont eat carbs after lunch'' things etc., eat a big breakfast of something like muesli, fruit and a slice of toast with fat free peanut butter or jam - a medium lunch of fish or chicken with salad, and a tiny dinner of pasta, fish (not if you''ve eaten it for lunch lol), low fat curry. Of course these are just suggestions :-)
4) exercise regulary! As often as you can. I know its hard, im a procrastinator too, but do it whenever you have time. Running and cycling are the two that work best for me, but I also like going to the gym - treadmill, cycling machine, rowing machine, eliptical. Check out pop pilates on YouTube, the girl that does it is awesome.
5) never ever give up. No matter how hard it gets. OH, and weigh yourself in the morning after you''ve got up so water bloating etc. aren''t an issue.

I am half way through my second week of insanity. I dont follow the diet (i already eat well on my own). I have not lost any weight but my cardio is SIGNIFICANTLY better than it was when i started. To give u some perspective im 123 pounds 5'5 so weight wont come off me as fast as with a bigger person. I feel stronger and more energized. The first day i could barely get through the warm up, and now on a good day i can go through the whole workout only taking a few extra (20 second at the most) breaks.
Its an extreamly hard workout, the hardest ive ever done! It really kicks your ass! You will get ripped doing this if you follow through and eat right, thats for sure. Im looking more at measurements than weight though since muscle weighs more than fat
Best Exercise to Lose Weight For You

With exercise and the right diet, you could lose 10 lbs every month. A good plan would be:
Breakfast: low fat milk on cooked 9-grain cereal (from health food store), mixed with cooked oatmeal and wheat bran. Add some nuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine.
Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham or beef stew.
Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.
Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.
Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.
Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes.
Foods to avoid: junk food, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fatty/greasy foods (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, fast food, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.
To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)
Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Also hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, badminton, tennis...
If you lack energy to exercise, take stress B vitamins.
To lose weight, try an appetite suppressant.

Your suspicions are correct.
Here's how it works: Your first-tier energy stores that are burned up during exercise are your fat stores (glycogen). The problem is you burn them completely up after about 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise. After you burn those stores out, your body starts burning muscle instead of fat.
This is why trainers and exercise physiologists tell you not to do more than 40 minutes of cardio at a time. It's also why they tell you to lift weights first if you're going to do strength training and cardio in the same workout -- if you burn out your first-tier energy stores by doing cardio, you will have a much less effective strength training workout.

No.
To lose weight you have to burn more calories than you eat.
I'd suggest you start tracking the calories you eat and the calories you burn until you have a better idea of what your body really needs. Sparkpeople.com has been really helpful for me in that way.
