help with weight loss?

you see, I've met some significant results in weight loss in the last couple of months. I have lost about ten pounds but ever since new years my weight loss has been stagnate. I started my own plan a few months before this. I was cutting meals and nearly killing myself everyday with exercise. I felt a bit weaker every day but I did see results. I lost nearly 30 pounds before I stopped. Instead of this, I began to eat about 3000 calories a day again, as a teenage boy apparently should, and continued to exercise vigorously. I also cut a lot of carbohydrates from my diet and stopped drinking pop.Bad: I gained about 20 of the 30 I lost backGood: My athletic ability has improved unbelievably. I used to have an asthma attack every time I ran about a quarter of the school track and now I can run a full lap with ease. I feel better than I have ever in my life. but I still haven't lost any more weight. the problem here is that I can't seem to find a happy medium between the two plans. I'm afraid my athletic ability will suffer if I stop to much eating but I also fear that I won't lose any weight if I keep my current plan.I don't understand. any extra tips on when and what I should eat and when and how I workout would be really appreciated.

  • you weren't eating enough before. (that actually can lean to breathing problems) you need to calculate your BMR and eat that. never eat below that. with lots of exercise you will probably need to eat more than your BMR but i dont think any more than 200-600 calories more. do what feels best to you. here is a bmr calculator: http://www.webmd.com/diet/healthtool-metabolism-calculatorwhen trying to lose weight, you shouldnt feel weaker. you should feel like you are getting stronger. watching this video might help to clear this up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4fKr4o0Yc4i hope this helps.

How to Lose Weight Properly

Recommended Answer:

Everything that you are eating is fine, however, you could add some carbs and other 'junk food', I know this may seem ridiculous, but you need to balance out your meals. I am a 13 y/o boy that is the best in the district for my weight class (90 pounds). My weight may seem a bit bizarre, but I am only 5'2. What I do is do intense workouts until the point I feel like puking. This way, when I am in an actual match, it is easy compared to training. My point being, don't worry too much on eating healthy, all you have to do is constantly move. I get up and walk up and down stairs every 30 minutes. This helps my body circulate blood throughout the day, so I stay healthy and active. Here is my workout schedule for everyday (excluding some):- 20 minutes jog- 10 minutes running and sprinting every minute for ~20 seconds.- 5 minutes high knees- 5 minutes butt kicks(By this point, you should be tired, but we do not stop here! KEEP GOING! DIG DEEPER!)- 20 pushups- 25 situps- 1 minute low plank- 20 minutes of cool down jogIn all, this should take you to around an hour workout. This may be extreme, but you were only born with one body, take care of it.You need to remember that your goal is to gain muscle, and not to focus on loosing weight. It will all fall into place when doing workouts like these. In the end, after doing this for several months, you should be more physically fit than any of your friends.C'mon, give me best answer! :D This took forever to write.

  • First of all if your thirteen forget dieting enjoy your higher metabolism as it only goes downhill as you grow older. Let me give you perspective I'm a male 5`9 156 pounds with less than 10% of fat on my body. Then again I'm pretty muscular so that weights a lot more, but my point is if your 5`7 and 115 your not fat. However, if you are really set on loosing weight this is how. It's all about how you diet and getting your metabolism. Frankly you can exercise as much as you want but if you eat incorrectly won't do much. So best way is simply eating correctly. So one major mistake is sodas, just stay away from them. You'll notice in bigger people when they quit soda they loose lots of weight fast. Next step is cutting our the amount of carbs you eat. Means stop eating all taht pasta and white bread. Try to eat meats and vegetables only. Fruit is good except it has a lot of glucose and sugar is a major part of your fat. Cut back on your sugar intake like sodas, candies, cookies, pretty much any deserts. If your really looking to loose weight fast you go on an all meat based diet. My friend lost 50 pounds in 3 months from this, only issues is that this can lead to heart conditions later in life os be careful.Next part is your exercise. Doing sit ups in your bedroom for loosing fat doesn't do sh*t. What you need to do is high intensity cardio workouts. I suggest sprinting 30 seconds and then walking 60 seconds. This triggers something called the after burn affect which pretty much boosts your metabolism and therefore burns up your fat storages. Hope this helped.
  • you need to run for 30-40 mins4-5 days a weekdo 5-10 mins of ab trainingand reduce carbs an eat more proteinsan have more vegetables an less processed foods

How to Quickly Lose Weight by Drinking Water

Recommended Answer:

Okay I have the exact same dilemma so I've been reading and researching about healthy FAST ways to lose weight and burn fat. First things first-cut off bread and pastries. Sugar is the hardest to get rid of from your belly and is the easiest to be absorbed and stored in your body. Bread is known for causing flab in your abdominal area. So that's a big no no. And whatever you do...stay AWAY from dairy. That's the fattest thing you can put in your gut. Don't listen to those egg-heads who say "but you need milk for calcium!"....they are so stupid. Dairy products have little to no health benefits. In every nutrition book you read it will tell you the exact same thing- after you stop drinking your mothers milk as an infant there is NO LONGER any need for it ever again in your lifetime. And don't listen to any health info that comes from a doctor...they get less than 3 hours of nutrition taught to them in med school. Go to a nutritionist and you'll blow your mind when you find out how a Doctors "health logic" is WRONG. If you want to burn fat then you need to cut off junk food (obviously), dairy, bread (too much of it), and MEAT. and regardless of what any fool says, chicken is just as fattening as any other meat. Diet is 80% of what makes you skinny and 20% is excersise. So basically become vegan for a while. You can have a few cheat days but try your beat to work it off. Also, stay away from any product that says "fat free" because those may not contain "fat", but it contains a ton of sugar that is stored as fat once it enters your body. That's even harder to lose. If your looking to lose weight extremely fast without excersizing, then watch this video called "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead". I've seen it like four times. My aunt lost seven pounds in one week by juicing veggies and making them into delicious smoothies. She also ate regular food thruought the week and had little to no excersise. Also, the vitamins in the juice helped her skin and had many other benefits. So I really recommend this video. It's the healthiest way to lose weight and it's also really informative. Should be on netflix I believe. Well really hope this info helped! Other videos/booksForks over knives (netflix)Hungry for a change (netflix)Skinny B**ch

  • Rule #1: Avoid “white” carbohydratesAvoid any carbohydrate that is — or can be — white. The following foods are thus prohibited, except for within 1.5 hours of finishing a resistance-training workout of at least 20 minutes in length: bread, rice, cereal, potatoes, pasta, and fried food with breading. If you avoid eating anything white, you'll be safe.Rule #2: Eat the same few meals over and over againThe most successful dieters, regardless of whether their goal is muscle gain or fat loss, eat the same few meals over and over again. Mix and match, constructing each meal with one from each of the three following groups:Proteins:Egg whites with one whole egg for flavorChicken breast or thighGrass-fed organic beefPorkLegumes:LentilsBlack beansPinto beansVegetables:SpinachAsparagusPeasMixed vegetablesEat as much as you like of the above food items. Just remember: keep it simple. Pick three or four meals and repeat them. Almost all restaurants can give you a salad or vegetables in place of french fries or potatoes. Surprisingly, I have found Mexican food, swapping out rice for vegetables, to be one of the cuisines most conducive to the “slow carb” diet. Most people who go on “low” carbohydrate diets complain of low energy and quit, not because such diets can't work, but because they consume insufficient calories. A 1/2 cup of rice is 300 calories, whereas a 1/2 cup of spinach is 15 calories! Vegetables are not calorically dense, so it is critical that you add legumes for caloric load. Some athletes eat 6-8x per day to break up caloric load and avoid fat gain. I think this is ridiculously inconvenient. I eat 4x per day:10am – breakfast1pm – lunch5pm – smaller second lunch7:30-9pm – sports training10pm – dinner12am – glass of wine and Discovery Channel before bedRule #3: Don't drink caloriesDrink massive quantities of water and as much unsweetened iced tea, tea, diet sodas, coffee (without white cream), or other no-calorie/low-calorie beverages as you like. Do not drink milk, normal soft drinks, or fruit juice. I'm a wine fanatic and have at least one glass of wine each evening, which I believe actually aids sports recovery and fat-loss. Recent research into resveratrol supports this.Rule #4: Take one day off per weekI recommend Saturdays as your “Dieters Gone Wild” day. I am allowed to eat whatever I want on Saturdays, and I go out of my way to eat ice cream, Snickers, Take 5, and all of my other vices in excess. I make myself a little sick and don't want to look at any of it for the rest of the week. Paradoxically, dramatically spiking caloric intake in this way once per week increases fat loss by ensuring that your metabolic rate (thyroid function, etc.) doesn't downregulate from extended caloric restriction. That's right: eating pure crap can help you lose fat. Welcome to Utopia.
  • Cut out chips, processed wheats, and sodas. Exercise at least an hour a day. Keep a goal: yours is to look good in front of friends I presume, think of that before you eat a chip or drink a coke. Go to bed early this summer and keep stress away. Eat a bunch of fruits and veggies. Good luck.Ps. Just thought of this. Cut your meals in half. Whatever someone makes you, lets say a burger, cut it in half and put it in the fridge for later. Use smaller plates. If you are hungry or bored, eat celery or carrots. Good snacking foods.

  • One thing I would like to comment on is that weight loss program fast can be achieved by the right diet and exercise. A person''s size not only affects appearance, but also the overall quality of life. Self-esteem, depression, health risks, and physical abilities are affected in weight gain. It is possible to do everything right and still gain. If this happens, a medical problem may be the culprit. While too much food and not enough exercise are usually to blame, common medical conditions and widely used prescriptions can greatly add to size.

Quick Weight Loss Tips - How to Lose Weight Safely and Sustainably

Recommended Answer:
About 2 months with the right diet. A good plan would be:

Breakfast: low fat milk on cooked 9-grain cereal (from health food store), mixed with cooked oatmeal and wheat bran. Add some nuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes.

Foods to avoid: junk food, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fatty/greasy foods (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, fast food, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.

To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Also hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, badminton, tennis...

If you lack energy to exercise, take stress B vitamins.
To lose weight, try an appetite suppressant.

  • if you work hard enough, you could lose 2lbs a week. so I''m thinking around 2 months or so
  • It might take about a good month and some weeks
  • Depends... Your weight loss will depend on your genetics, exercise/activity level, your diet, hydration levels and your sleep patterns.

    1. Drink plenty of water
    2. Avoid processed foods
    3. Eat lean meats, veggies/fruits and good fats
    4. Exercise regularly
    5. Avoid alcohol in excess
    6. Try to sleep 6-8 hrs per night
    7. Manage stress

If you stick to these basics, there is no reason why you can''t lose 1-2 pounds per week.

    That''s the recipe!!! Good Luck.
  • It depends on how fat you are at this point. The more obese and otu of shape you are the easier it will be to lose the weight.

    1. Avoid processed foods (ex. anything in a wrapper).
    2. Stick to: lean meats, veggies, fruits, and whole grains.
    3. Drink lots of water it helps your metabolism.
    4. Exercise. If you dont'' know how, go on youtube for ideas.
  • Theres a calculator for this I''ve been using it recently.
You tell it your goal how much you want to lose a week so how every weeks you have till you go and divide it up. Then add your meals (once you''ve added one once you can click them in after that) add any exercise you do, and it calculates every time you add something if you are on target to lose said lb''s that week or gain...

What is good about a gadget like this is that you can add your meals for the day before you have them, then you can tweak them so you know you''re always on target. It also add cholesterol levels which I just love.. It shocked me how high mine was I always thought my diet was quite healthy lol :)

I promise you, you won''t regret trying it. You might be like I was and a bit flaky with it to start with, but I don''t know of anything else as useful as this

But if you have to, work out for at least half an hour at least three times a week. Make sure you''re doing cardio and aerobics in your routine. Count you''re calories. • no ew why do you eat so much cereal and not one piece of fruit...?

    this diet sucks lol
  • No that is not a healthy diet at all. You really need to do some research.
  • It''s ok, I guess. Not great. Not terrible.

How to Burn Fat Without Losing Weight

Recommended Answer:
Gaining muscle is the best way to go as you prevent unnecessary and excessive weight loss when your diet or the quality of sleep is compromised. If you are looking to gain weight despite having a high metabolism, the key is to get your diet right first, then your sleep followed by doing the right workout.

Most people think that they are eating a lot and come to the conclusion that something else is needed to fix it. The key thing to getting a high calorie diet is to eat more times rather than eat more each meal. Take for instance a buffet. How much food can you actually force down your system in a buffet compared to 3 or even 6 hearty meals that are spread throughout the day. I was appalled when I realized that we are subconsciously able to consume more calories if we eat 6 full meals a day compared to a single buffet seating, particularly in the carbohydrate section which is the key ingredient to help you to gain weight. This includes eating a lot of potatoes, pasta, noodles, bread, biscuit and rice 6 times a day spread 2-3 hours apart for maximum carbohydrate loading and energy replenishment. Due to the high metabolism, your body needs to constantly absorb carbohydrates to use it as a source of energy or it will find it elsewhere, particularly in breaking down muscles, ceasing some unimportant bodily function as well as burning fat. If preparing 6 meals a day is either an inconvenience or a hassle, I suggest you look to drink 500ml of milk 3 times a day in between your meal and increase that amount by 100ml. Once you have seen at least a 1 pound weight gain on the scale, you are ready for step two which is sleep.

Sleep is a highly underrated activity but speak to any athlete and bodybuilder and they will tell you that is what keeps your body weight stable or even help you to gain weight properly. This is because sleep prevents you from falling sick easily, thus preventing weight loss. One more thing that good quality sleep does is to prevent a situation where you burn more calories to stay awake, thus utilizing the needed energy for weight gain rather than keeping you alert. A good quality sleep consists of 2 parts, quantity and quality. Quantity depends on individual and you find that out by sleeping and waking up all by yourself without being disturbed at all. Quality refers to REM sleep or the best form of sleep where your mind drifts off to dreams and produces a consistent rhythm of repairing and resting your body efficiently. This causes you to be more alert, energetic and healthy without the addition of caffeine, vitamin tablets or other enhancement. If you can do this properly, then you are ready for the trigger that will promise consistent gains and that is by doing the right workout.

The problem with utilizing a weight gain regime with only sleep and diet is that if you cease to do so, your body weight will plummet, causing all the efforts you put in to be in vain. The key is to cause your body to grow and exercise is the right way. However, most workouts are either used to help big people become bulky or big people to become skinny, rarely the other way around. If you are looking for a regime that will help you to gain weight, I suggest you go to http://gohforth.com for that workout regime. I chanced upon it in my time in the army and it helped me to gain weight efficiently and now is also benefiting those who join my gym to do the same goal. I hope you find the same success and I hope that I was there to help you refine it even more.

  • If your very active.. that is why your not gaining any real weight. If you want to gain wait.. don''t do anything hardly. But, that would be hard.. so good luck losing it.

  • Hi, i know how it feels being skinny, sometimes it''s fun and sometimes it sucks, here''s some tips for healthy weight gain, hope it will be usefull to you:

    * Always consume food high in Carbohydrates, Protein and healthy saturated fats. Instead of having 3 main food course (morning, afternoon and night), snack in between. Here is seven snacks you can munch on

    1. Nuts and SeedsNuts alone are good muscle building snacks. They are high in monosaturated fats, and even contain a healthy heap of protein and calories. For a better weight gain strategy, you can throw in some peanut butter for a tasty treat. Don’t overlook flax seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, pistachios, and other nuts and seeds.
    2. TunaTuna has been a long-time favorite of fitness buffs. Some would argue that it’s perfect for losing weight because of this fish’s low fat content. Being high in protein and healthy calories makes it a perfect snack choice for those who wish to gain weight.

    3. Whole Fat Dairy ProductsVeer away from low-fat skim products, and instead opt for the full-cream and whole milk. These are rich in protein and fat, which will help you quickly go up the scales. Feel free to add some whole fat cheese, like Swiss and Cheddar, to your snacks and sandwiches. Don’t hold the yogurt either, as this also contains some healthy weight-gaining dairy.

    4. Crackers and BagelsYou need not zoom in to the white breads and high-carbohydrate offerings. Crackers and bagels made from whole wheat, bran and sesame can help you pack on some pounds. Use a generous heaping of peanut butter, jams, margarine or honey to ring up those calories and proteins.

    5. CerealsYou might be surprised to note that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. The health conscious always seek these out in their daily diet, but they’re also great snacks for weight gainers. You can opt for the healthier cereal and veer away from frosted flakes and puffs. Go for a healthy heaping of granola, oats and muesli. Add in some raisins and fruits, and douse in whole milk. You got yourself a healthy high-calorie snack.

    6. Fruits and VegetablesEven if snacking on fruits and munching on salads is a favorite of dieters, those who aim to gain weight shouldn’t shun fruits and vegetables. They are high in vitamins, minerals and healthy sugars that can definitely aid you in adding a few healthy kilos. Snacking on dried fruits is also advisable, so don’t turn away from dried prunes, raisins and the like.

    7. Traditional Snack FoodsThis is one advantage weight-gainers have over dieters; they’re still at liberty to reach for the traditional snacks. Go easy on these carbohydrate high-calorie snacks, because they’re not all that healthy when taken in large amounts. But, the increase in calories will certainly help you reach your weight goal. Dark chocolates and baked potato chips should not be scrapped from your snacks list; pretzels are always good as well!

Always remember to Exercise as well, don''t just gain weight but with an ugly body tone!
  • sure, you don''t need to gain fat and be flabby. Junk food will only make you skinnier, because it does not contact needed nutrients and vitamins.
Gaining muscle takes the same amount of focus and preparation as
losing weight. Some important facts about gaining muscle:

•You can''t necessarily gain muscle without gaining some fat as well.
•There are no magic foods, powders or pills that will allow you to
gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. Some people can do this
naturally (again, the genes), but most will gain some fat along with
    the muscle.
•Your body is very different from a bodybuilder--trying to gain mass
to look like them is not the best idea. They have different muscle
fibers than you and some may even be getting a little help from
    illegal substances.
    •If you''re a teenager, you''ll have a hard time changing your body
dramatically. It''s changing constantly and it will change even more
    as the years pass.
•Gaining weight requires eating more and lifting more
Gaining muscle requires that you eat more calories than you burn. For
those with high metabolisms, that may seem impossible, but if you try
a few of these tricks, you''ll find that adding calories to your day
    is easier than you think:

•Choose calorie-rich foods like granola, bagels, biscuits, avocados,
olives, corn, meat, nuts, peanut butter, milk, yogurt and cheese.
•Add extra calories to your meals by using milk instead of water for
    soups, sauces and hot cereals.
    •Sprinkle powdered milk into casseroles.
•Add calorie-rich foods (like avocado, cheese and dressing) to
    sandwiches and salads
•Mix beans, meat or cheese into pasta or side dishes
•Snack on yogurt, shakes, crackers and dip
•Keep a food diary for a week or so to get an idea of what you''re
eating and where you can add more calories
The trick is to add calories without adding too much saturated fat.
You can also consider downing smoothies or meal replacement shakes in
    between meals.

    Lift, Lift, Lift

Once you get your calories under control, you need to start lifting
weights. This will help you gain more muscle and help minimize the
amount of fat you gain (although you should expect to gain some fat
as well). Folks trying to gain muscle should:
•Lift heavy. This means lifting enough weight that you can only
complete about 6-8 repetitions of each exercise. The last few reps
should be difficult--the last one should be really hard, but not
    impossible.
•Have longer recovery periods between sets
•Have more recovery days between workouts
    •Use spotters to avoid injury
•Continue with cardio, but keep it at maintenance level--around 2-3
days of cardio a week to keep your heart in shape
•Start with a full body program 2-3 nonconsecutive days a week, if
you''re a beginner. Allow your body a few weeks to get used to lifting
weights before you tackle more intense routines.
  • Eat a spoonful of MAYONNAISE per hour and two CHEESE cubes per day.

How to Lose Weight and Keep it Off - Don't Read This If You Aren't Serious About Losing Weight

Recommended Answer:
Eat lots of food, than train for reps of 5-8 than diet and eat clean

  • Weight training would be best, muscle weighs more than fat so the more fat you loose from weight lifting, the more weight you gain from muscle, win win for you.

  • That is right. But you can check on the link below to know other ways.
  • If you are looking to gain 15-20 pounds, I suggest you look into sleeping well, doing the right workout while you are in the gym and eating an even higher calorie diet to help you to put on the weight you need. I would suggest going on a high carbohydrate when it comes to diet to help you gain lean muscle mass that will help you on the pitch.

I would suggest eating a high calorie diet instead of one filled with fat is because your body only requires a certain amount of fat which you can possibly get from the excess calories from your carbohydrate. I also do not suggest so much protein as a fuel source as it leaves behind nitrates which can be put your kidneys and liver under unnecessary stress. I would suggest eating things like potatoes, biscuits, pasta, noodles, rice and bread in order to get the high calorie diet from carbohydrates. If fixing 6 meals up can be a problem due to the lack of time or if you are looking for something more convenient, I would suggest looking to drink 500ml of milk in between your meal for a total of 3 times a day. Increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml for each serving every week if you realize that you do not gain weight after a week of effort.

The next thing to get right is definitely sleep even before exercise. This is because even if you have the best workout and you get improper rest or insufficient amount of it, chances are this will cause you to lose weight and fall sick. One particular fact most people do not get right is definitely quality. Quality sleep means you need to sleep and wake up all by yourself. This can be difficult but I will still encourage you to do it on the weekend if possible and sleep the scheduled amount of hours on the weekdays when you are busy.

The workout is the main trigger to help you gain weight. This is done by using the workout at http://gohforth.com which I have seen many of my clients used and see effective results. The result of gaining 1 pound every week is quite possible as this workout will help you to trigger major muscles and help with progressive weight gain with little to no down time.
  • Approximately 28% and it won't matter on the size of engine either
  • yes unless you work harder
  • Not, it is not.

Weight loss that I'm confused about?

OK, so I started a new (very intense) exercise regimen just to mix things up as I just would like to lose 5 pounds. I've never been overweight so it's not about that. So, I started the routine this week (kettlebells) and am on the my rest days. I tend to eat very carefully but ate a bit crappy the last 2 days (not a whole pizza or anything just more than normal for me) and I LOST 2 pounds. I have ideas as to why but if somebody else has a good answer that's awesome. Thanks everybody!
Thanks first responder, I do all of those things already. I'm just interested in an answer to my question. But thank you.
Maybe I'm not clear: I do exercise regularly. I just added a new routine. I don't understand the 2 pound weight loss. Thanks again!

Lose Weight the Right Way and Keep it Off

You probably found your caloric need. Did you maintain that weight loss? Were you eating more consistently throughout the day? Did you eat more protein?

Eating often keeps your metabolism cooking, and keeping a consistent protein intake throughout the day encourages muscle growth. If you've increased intensity, your protein and general caloric need will have increased. In order for your body to respond appropriately to the new demands, it needs to be fueled adequately. Eating several meals with protein in each meal (10+ grams?) will keep your muscles rebuilding and your metabolism fueled. Eating too few calories starves your body and makes it conservative in its caloric use.

That's my understanding. I'm not 100% on how it all works.

  • okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows:

Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)
eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a slow cooker /food steamer & rice/pasta cooker to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink mainly water (green tea , juice & milk being the other options you drink). If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken.

also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.

    * you should lose about 10 lbs per month
  • You maybe just hit a plateau. I used a program that helped me get over mine. I know how frustrating it is to put in a lot of hard work and come out with very little results.
