Hit the gym, Squats are the best workout for that area ;)Squat exercises are one of the best things you can do to tone your butt, hips and thighs. These are often the areas that women are most concerned with. By incorporating squats into your exercise routine, you can effectively work out most of the muscles in these problem areas. There are many different ways to do squats, each with its own benefits to the body.Chair SquatChair squats are a simple and effective exercise that you can do at home.Stand with a chair behind you. Place your feet slightly farther than shoulder width apart. Bring your arms out in front of you. Squat back as if you are going to sit down on the chair. Touch the chair briefly. Stand back up, dropping your hands to the sides. Repeat for a total of 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps. Don't squat past the point in which your knees are parallel to the floor. If the chair is too low, place a pillow on it to bring it to the proper height.Wide Stance SquatThis squat is a great inner thigh workout. It puts less pressure on the lower back, as your back will remain straight throughout this exercise.Stand with your legs slightly wider than shoulder width apart and your toes pointed outwards. Sink into a squatting position while keeping your head up and your back straight. Keep your knees pressed outwards, over your toes. Return to a standing position, while squeezing your glutes on the way up. Repeat for a total of 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps. Ball SquatThis squat utilizes an exercise ball. The ball helps to support the back, allowing for a deeper squat.Stand with an exercise ball between your lower back and a wall. Squat down while pressing against the ball for support. Make certain that your feet are far enough away from the wall, so that your knees stay behind your toes, as you lean back into a squat. Press up with your heels and return to a standing position. Repeat for a total of 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps. Assisted SquatTie a band or towel to a sturdy object. Stand with your feet hip width apart and hold onto the band. Squat down, while holding the band, until your thighs are at a 90-degree angle to the floor. Press up with your heels and return to a standing position Repeat for a total of 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps. These are just a few of the different type of squat exercises that you can incorporate into your fitness routine. For a more intense workout, you can add weights. Dumbbells, barbells and even weighted vests can be used in squats. It's important to maintain proper form to avoid injuries. This is especially true when using weights. Always do squats in a controlled manner, never use jerking motions. It's not usually necessary to go beyond a 90-degree position. Knee and back pain are indicators that you're doing too much or are using improper form. Rest until the pain is gone, then begin again with fewer sets and reps.look at the picture;http://freshfitfabulous.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/squat.jpg

Questions on obtaining One Direction 2014 Where We Are tour tickets?

I really love One Direction but unfortunately I have never been to one of their concerts. Ive decided I'm going to attempt to get tickets for one of their US dates next year, even though I know the chances are slim. But I'm still going to at least try. I'm not asking for front row seats, just something with a decent view. I'm new to this so I apologize if I sound ridiculous but I just have a couple of questions about getting 1D tickets?1. Ok, so. Onebigannouncement have already announced some dates, although none of them are in the US, which I suppose is a good thing so I have more time to prepare to get tickets. On the website, a lot of dates are apparently sold out, and I knew they must have sold out pretty quickly. How can I try to get tickets before they sell out when they announce US dates? Aren't there like presales and whatnot? 2. Yeah, how do I know when the sales are? Are there any specific websites that can tell me the dates and times of the sales in advance? 3. When Onebigannouncement announced new tour dates, did they give a warning like "We'll announce new dates tomorrow at __ o clock." or do they just suddenly reveal them out of nowhere?4. This girl I kinda know got a ticket to a concert for just $80 and it was a fairly decent seat too, just behind the floor seats. All I know is she got them about a year in advance, off ticketmaster or livenation. Can someone explain in detail how she could have done this? 5. In the high chance of me failing in obtaining a ticket before they sell out, how can I get an as-cheap-as-possible-but-still-fairly-ok ticket?6. Any other tips? And again, I apologize in advance if I sound stupid.

1. There are two websites that will have presale info: http://www.onedirectionmusic.com/us/home/and The official One Direction Facebook PageThey usually announce presale info and tour dates at the same time. 2. Look at question 1. 3. One of the boys will probably tweet something about announcing the US tour dates before the actual dates are posted on Onebigannouncement. But it's okay if you miss that announcement. Tickets won't be on sale the day the dates are announced. Presale will probably happen 1 or 2 days after the dates are announced and then the general sale will start 3 or 4 days after the dates are announced.4. It's all about luck. You have to have a fast internet connection and hit the "purchase" button at just the right moment. Make sure you are at your computer as soon as the sale starts and hope for the best. Just so you know your friend probably found a ticket that was $80 but that was probably before the transaction fee which is usually ~$20. So her ticket probably cost like $100. Ticketmaster is expensive so be prepared!5. You will get a ticket. It may not be front row, but you will definitely get one. Stadiums are HUGE. They won't sell out as fast as they did with the arena tour because there are more seats available. 6. When tickets go on sale stay calm. I would suggest having a backup laptop close by with ticketmaster ready to go just in case something goes wrong. Or ask a friend for help and have both computers going at the same time so you have a better chance of getting a good ticket.GOOD LUCK! Let me know if you have any more questions :)

weight loss. what am i doin wrong?

i weigh 342. i go to the gym regularly. i spend 30 min on the elliptical or treadmill then a hour weight training. my diet consists of 1/4 cup mixed nuts for breakfast. 9am protein shake. 1pm protein shake. supper is a lean meat(baked chicken or fish or pork chop) with some kinda veggie. my carbs i keep under 100 grams a day. protein i take in about 200g a day. fat is normally bout 40g a day. it is not like i am seeing enough muscle growth to say the old cliche muscle weighs more than fat. i am still wearing the same pants size. it has been about 3 months- no change in weight. i know the protein is high but trying to lose as little mass as i can.1/4 cup mixed nuts 170 calories. protein shakes are 170 each. then whatever 1/2 pound of chicken and cup of mixed veggies. so i would guess less than 2000 calories a day which is way under the calorie intake that it supposedly takes for me to stay the same weight

you should try consuming more fruits and veggies instead of, or with meat and protein, they help you burn more fat I believe. And if you are desperate to lose it quick try juicing, many people I know lost a lot easily (if you don't mind the taste that is) and felt soo much more healthy it was amazing. You should watch the fat sick and nearly dead documentary if interested, it opened my eyes to many things

  • how many calories are you eating a day?
  • For weight loss, dieting is more effective than exercise. Reducing your intake of junk sugar will help as in items 22 and 106 in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm The natural sugars in fruits are OK as they are metabolised to glucose slowly due to their high fiber content. Fruits are low in calories and are not fattening. Most fruits are metabolism boosting foods and most vegetables as well and that helps for weight loss.

Should I continue to lose a little more weight?

I have been doing just fine, and I take pride in myself for doing so. However, I do have several ailments, include autism, asthma, and some anxiety. I bring my inhaler wherever I go incase I have an asthma attack.I was diagnosed with asthma when I was only 6, and I still have it 9 years later, at my age of 15. My asthma doctor put me on a drug called prednisone which made me gain weight fairly quickly. My autism isn't severe, but I did take other meds like risperidone, and zoloft which made me gain more weight, and it sucked. This year, my parents made me switch because my previous asthma doctor was kind of a jerk to us. My new asthma doctor who is a very nice woman in her late 30's wanted me to be weaned off the prednisone. I was also weaned off the zoloft, but I still take risperidone. In late March, my weight had climbed to 165 pounds, which is the heaviest I have ever been in my whole life. I was 5 foot 7, and was almost at the 95th percentile. I was heavy, and I started exercising and eating less, and I now weigh 154 pounds. At my doctor's office, she measured me yesterday at 5' 9''. But my dad disagreed with her, and he ended up measuring me at home and I'm only 5' 8'' plus a quarter inch.My mom wants me to get down to 150, and maybe in the 140's, but I'm not sure, I think I'll get taller and stretch out.

How to Lose Weight and Breastfeed

You sound like you are doing ok, Just stay the path, 150-155 is a good range, 140 might be getting little low as you are still growing, and dieting / exercising to get to 140 will deprive your body of the energy to grow.ALso I've heard (Not sure if its true). But as you get older your asthma will get less as your lungs get bigger.

From my short little research trip, the basic need-to-know on gaining weight is not to eat a whole lot, but eating foods loaded with vitamins and nutrients. "Weight gain requires eating calorie-rich but also nutrient-rich foods -- not just high-calorie foods with lots of fat, sugar, or empty calories," says Alice Bender, RD, nutrition communications manager for the American Institute for Cancer Research. Lose Weight For Free Fast And The Foods That Help You Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
Okay, I understand. Depression is something that really ruins one''s happiness and ability to see the positivity of life. What I suggest is this:

- Are you being sociable? By that I mean, are you seeing friends all the time, going out with them, meeting new people, partying (possibly)? You begin to feel really isolated if you don''t see a lot of people and communicate with them, and this leads to the feeling of loneliness on both literal and emotional level. See people, arrange things with friends.

- You say you have a full time job. Does this entail slaving away in a room at a desk most of the time? Are you moving around constantly and on the go? If you aren''t, you NEED to change that. Start perhaps by going for walks in the morning or evening (or when you have time) in nature. This means near a river, out in the fields, amongst the trees etc. This will help you feel more in touch with your surroundings and give you peace. There is something very calming about the beauty of nature, and how it simply lives simply. It reminds us of how we should be.
Now, perhaps you should join a gym or sports class. Not to lose weight or anything like that, but to feel good. Exercise gives you those endorphins and keep positivity and wellbeing at a high. Boost those exercise levels and I promise you that you will feel much better.

- Are you sick of routine? Or do you thrive on it? It''s important to have a balance. The chaotic person ends up feeling lost at the end of the day many a time, and so does the routine-loving person when things just don''t go their way. Keep a good sleep routine where you go to bed early and wake up early, you will make the most of your day if you do this. But, even though you have allocated time for work and sleep, you should also allow room for change. I don''t know your life, but if you look at it, you will know which things you need to allow to pass over you and just happen.
Make sure you don''t overwork yourself either. Feeling tired at the end of the day everyday because you HAD to do all of this stuff that doesn''t really matter to you isn''t helping.

- What are you eating? A healthy diet is so important to make you feel good about yourself and about life, giving you a great boost of energy and radiance. I''m not saying cut out EVERYTHING, but one by one, start to cut back on the amount of JUNK food you have each day. Eg: that cookie, McDonalds lunch etc. Replace this with nutrients, like fruit, vegetables, carbs and protein. Perhaps have a banana and wild berry smoothy every morning to boost you for the day (make it yourself though. Too many venues put giant amounts of sugar in them). Perhaps you can do this after your yoga in the morning :)

- Relationships? Are they getting you down because they aren''t working? This is one of the things that —as hard as it is to do sometimes—you need to let go of. Change is a certainty. Similarity and familiarity is something you cannot depend on. Those people that leave you, let you down or make you feel bad are just parts of life, the obstacles. They don''t mean anything good if you don''t let them test you. They are challenges in life you need to overcome and move on from. You are worth loving, and you are the only person who knows how special you are completely, so don''t get sad over the people who didn''t try or failed to see that.

I hope this helps, and I hope you feel better soon :)

Simple rule of thumb is to eat whole foods. The less a food is processed and refined the more macro nutrients and fiber it contains.
Liquid foods are out. Sodas, smoothies, shakes, and meal replacements concentrate calories, reduce fiber value, and spike blood sugar levels.
Read a bag of plain potato chips. Ingredients are potatoes, oil, and salt. Now read a flavored bag. A whole paragraph of chemical additives and preservatives.
The body responds much better to less "junk" in.
I''m not saying load up on regular chips but you get the picture.
Bread and pasta are pretty much out. But a burger of lean meat on whole wheat with fresh vegetable toppings and mustard is actually a pretty good meal.
Loading up on too much cheese and the calories in dressings, ketchup, and mayo are the hidden calories.
Plus once your taste buds adjust to not eating all the salt and sugar in a diet of processed food you will find simple foods taste really good.

  • chocolate
  • dont "diet," change the way that you eat if you really want to be healthy,
go vegan, you will NEVER be overweight this way and can still, believe it or not, indulge in the things that you love. its the only way to be one hundred percent sure you''re making healthy choices all of the time. there are so many cookbooks/websites and other sources to help you make the transition and you really wont believe the effects it has on your body and the way that you feel :)
  • Try to eat less and make more of what you eat fruits and veggies

What can I do to feel better about myself?

I feel self confident all the time, MOST of my friends are thin and I''m the chubby one...
I know you''ll say lose weight, but I really do try, have you got any daily exercise routines? Like : 10 crunches, 5 press ups blah blah, and also what foods to eat.
Thanks so much! x
