How to Detox Your Body and Lose Weight at The Same Time

Recommended Answer:

To gain weight you need to combine protein foods with starchy carbohydrates as indicated below. Good weight gaining combinations are bread, cereals, pasta, rice, potatoes or sweet potatoes combined with meat, poultry, eggs, cheese, nuts or sea food. Peanut butter sandwiches and cheese sandwiches are good weight gaining combinations. The protein in the above combinations will help to gain extra muscles.

  • Have you tried eating? And if you have already thought of that carrot sticks and celery isn't going to cut it cup cake. Eat things like meats, and peanut butter there calorie dense and healthier than candy bars. If you feel to full to eat solid foods use a blender you can easily make a 1000 calorie shake with protein powder, milk (2% of higher), peanut butter, bananas (or any fruit) and flax seeds...

How to Lose Weight Fast and Keep it Off

Recommended Answer:

You have asked a terrible question. The reason is simple. I you're going to go to all the trouble of doing what is necessary to lose fat, you're probably going to want to keep it off. Here's why. When you lose fat, you weigh less and, hence, burn fewer calories. Your BMR will be lower so you'll have to eat less on maintenance than when you were heavier. And, losing the fat is only the beginning. Once fat is lost, you have to keep it off for the rest of your life and that may include such difficulties as the "Freshman 15", college drinking culture, soirées and social drinking, somatopause (age-related slowing metabolism), a more sedentary lifestyle, affluence and access to more expensive, tasty, and fattening meals, etc. This truth is born out by the fact that 3 out of 4 adult Americans are overweight or obese. That's means only 1 in 4 adult Americans has a healthy weight. (See: http://www.obesityinamerica.org/statistics/index.cfm ). It only gets more difficult to stay slim as the years roll by. It never gets easier. So, now is the time to establish good eating habits...the kind that will keep you svelte and fit in the days ahead and for the rest of your life. So, ask yourself if you want us to tell you what you should eat for the rest of your life. Especially when the secrete to losing fat is finding food items you enjoy that will keep you well nourished and feeling full without going over your BMR ( http://www.calculator.net/bmr-calculator.html ) in daily calories and we can't know what you enjoy. To find out how the best minds in nutrition in the world (at the US NIH) have recommended for decades we lose fat, read my answer about how to lose fat --> http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=As615QJM4X_3ID9_05qmmlXty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20111028185603AAVcP4D You must make your own food choices. So, do your homework and find the foods that work for you. They won't be the foods that work for us.Your body has no choice but to follow your brain. So, you should feed your brain a steady diet of good information if you want to be all you can be. It's YOUR body and it has to last a lifetime so it's worth the investment. Don't ask questions of random strangers with no credibility in this or other online forums. Use high quality resources for information instead. The basic principles of health, fitness, and nutrition are not that difficult or hard to understand. Avoid the internet unless you're using trusted sites in dot gov or dot edu domains. The dot coms are usually driven by profit motive and you'll find bad information in most websties including WebMD, Livestrong, Bobybuilding.com, etc. and especially in this forum and others like it. And, avoid magazine and other cheap commercial informational products about fitness, glamour, muscle building, fashion and fads. Don't be part of the "herd" unless you want to look, feel, and perform like the "herd".Use books, especially late edition text books on subjects such as nutrition, anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology...especially exercise physiology. You can find excellent information resources at your local public or Uni library or for sale cheap online at Amazon.com and Ebay.com. Always follow the science. Use critical thinking. Be skeptical and do not believe anything without cross checking it with trusted sources. Grow your personal knowledge base and everything else will follow with relative ease. You have one body and it has to last a lifetime. It's worth the investment to learn how to care for it properly. How to Lose Weight With Prune Juice

I'm done with my weight loss journey and completely happy with how I feel and how I look right now however losing weight is a challenge for anyone and even losing 5 pounds and keeping it off isn't an easy task. Also I bet you didn't know that 5 pounds of fat is about the size of 8 cheese burgers? That alone should be enough to make anyone want to get on the ball and start a change for the better. Weight loss can be really easy to learn but the problem is nobody wants to put the required effort that is needed to actually do it, instead people continually look for (easy) ways to do it. If there was an easy way to lose weight I don't think 35% of Americans would be obese. There was a time when I also wanted to lose weight and was tired of starting diets only to lose motivation and give up just a few weeks later after seeing no results. However, let me tell you it is literally one of the easiest things you will ever learn once you find a good and reputable place to learn it from and I say that only because the world is filled with magic diet pills, liquid flush diets and a thousand other quick fixes that promise xx pounds of weight loss in the first week and even though it is impossible they know you're going to do it because your desperate. I have probably tried every diet pill, liquid flush diet, and ab rocket machine known to man and have had no success with any of them nor do I know anyone that has ever had any success with them. I have also tried starving myself which works very well for the first few weeks' right before your metabolism comes to a complete stop and eating just the tiny bit makes you gain weight and you end up weighing more than you did before you started starving yourself. Companies promote weight loss to make money not to get people healthy again and that's because they know you're not going to be a customer and buy their products if you're no longer fat. http://fatloossfactor.com is a site I want you to go to when you have 10 or 20 minutes to spare and I want you to sit down and watch his video on weight loss. He helps people every day to lose weight I have never seen someone as committed as him and that will go so far out of his way to help someone. His weight loss program is one of the best I have ever had the enjoyment of doing and it is without doubt the best success I have ever had with any weight loss program. I also couldn't be happier with my body right now and I have never felt this wonderful in my whole life. In the end you just got to remember to stick with it and stay confident in yourself and in no time you can achieve the results you have always wanted. It's not hard to lose weight but most people have a hard time staying motivated and 9 times out of 10 it was because they weren't really committed from the beginning. Anyways I hope I helped you and I hope you make the commitment to change your body and life. Remember it's not easy to take the first step but you did, you're here right now taking it and the rest of the steps will fall into place. Have a wonderful day.

How to Lose Weight After Pregnancy

Recommended Answer:

the cotton candy hands down. Even though the cereal has more calories, you're looking at the difference between something that has NO benefit whatsoever (the cotton candy) and something that has whole grains and some vitamins and minerals and will fill you up more than few mouthfuls of sugar. In the long run, though you started out eating more calories, you'll end up compensating by being fuller and eating less later.

Other Answers:

  • I think cotton candy is nasty and would never put it in my mouth. You need to learn good eating habits while you are young....Neither is a good choice. Good luck and God bless.
  • They're both empty carbs. Cereals are not healthy for you at all despite what all the brainwashed people on yahoo will tell you... They're no different than stuffing yourself with sugar. Calories are not all equal and its impossible to accurately count them anyway. The type of calories you eat matter far more than how many. You could eat far more calories than you imagine and lose/maintain if you stay away from grains, sugar, high carbs and processed foods and if you increase the fat which while higher in calories will fill you up and help you burn fat. Sugars, grains (yes even whole grain and in cereal), heavy carbs will get stored as fat and provoke hunger.
