I'm a little chubby and want to lose some fat but don't like to run or take medicine for weight loss, is there a food or diet I can do while working out that'll get rid of fat?

I am a 20 year old college sophomore student. I have always been not entirely tiny but petite, I used to weight 122, people started comp-laing how thin I was, and this and that, it got a little bit on me, and I started eating unhealthy. but now , I weight 138 (NOT IN A GOOD WAY), I gained some arm, thigh (which I don't mind) and belly fat (which I don't like). Now I am a little bit experienced, I know what is good for my body, I know I own my body and nobody else.I don't want to be this girl who just do the "You Only Live Once" thing going around and sit back while I keep adding pounds, I want to be fit, I want to be in control of my body. So, I was about to start the "Insanity Work Out" but I am concerned that will take alot from my body. I dont want to be tiny, I just want the arms and stomach fat to go. What should I do? I have tried to do these monthly challenge but it's not working for me because I don't have any motivation to. So enough ranting, my question is, should I do the Insanity? do you think it would take too much from me? What others do you suggest?

I need help losing weight fast?

I'm completely and utterly stuck. I feel like im at a standstill and its impossible for me to lose any weight! The only people who are noticing any "weight loss" are my CLOSE family members! Honestly, im starting to think i'm being lied to. I'm not noticing any changes whenever I look at myself in the mirror. I still look back and see the same overweight 13 year old and im tired of it. This summer I decided I was going to lose weight. The only remotely noticeable thing I can see with my own eyes are my collar bones (they're becoming just barely any more noticeable.) I feel like this summer was a waste of my time. I wanted a flat stomach. I was tired of being the girl that's always left out and can never wear the clothes she wants! I've cut my diet to 1,200 - 1,600 calories a day. I've taken out all junk food (except when I treat myself which is just barely once a month). And I took out ALL soda from my diet. I've been running on a nightly basis, doing crunches, leg lifts, and lunges. I have been on this strict schedule for almost 2 1/2 months now. I do admit that I've slacked off before, but that's only because I have no motivation to do anything because of the lack of results im getting! I constantly feel guilty after I eat ANYTHING. Even if it is healthy! I feel like with every meal or snack I eat, im gaining 10 pounds! I'm tired of feeling this way and I just don't know what to do. I wanted to come back to school and surprise all my friends with my major weight loss, but apparently that's not happening. I am in desperate need of some help.
