How to Lose Weight in 5 Days

Recommended Answer:

you only lose water when taking laxatives which doesn't help in the long run because you actually want to burn fat to get fit. water is soooo important for normal body functions that it's not worth putting your body at risk of serious malfunctions. the sad thing is when you start replacing the lost fluids you'll pick up the "weight" you have lost really quickly. it's not worth it. whenever you want to lose weight do it in a natural healthy way. health should be what you are aiming for not being the skinniest girl in school because being too skinny is just as unhealthy and bad for you as being fat.

Other Answers:

  • it is a temporary weight loss of fluids and dangerous to do.
  • No don't its dangerous you can die is u have too much coz 1 its a medicine and you can't have overdose and 2 u will get De hydrated and cud die so don't. BTW u can get too thin and ur probs thin anyway
  • Because, it is completely clearing out your stomach. You shouldn't take any unless a doctor tells you to, you could cause permanent damage to your body if you don't need to be on them.

I feed my dog every day but he won't gain weight. What dog food brands will fatten him up?

Okay y'all, I need some dog food suggestions. I feed my dog 2-3 cups of food every day. He never goes without being fed. But even with that, he doesn't gain weight. He's currently eating some off brand dog food from Walmart because that's all my husband & I could afford to get him at the time so I think that contributes to it. What are some great dog food brands that will help him gain weight and fatten up? He's not all skins and bones, not at all. I just want him to get meatier. Any suggestions, dog owners?

Try a puppy food. Puppies burn more calories since they are growing so their food tends to have a higher fat content. You might want to talk to your vet about your best options for his particular breed and age though =)

Other Answers:

  • Purina dog chow.
  • blue wilderness! it basically has the highest protein content. its a great quality dog food as well! no grains and all natural. it will be sure to put some meat on him(:you said you couldnt afford a better food at the time...if you can afford a better food now, it would be good to not buy his food from grocery stores or walmarts anymore. they dont sell quality dog food and all of it is full of fillers and junk. hope i helped! (:
  • Try a puppy food.
  • Your dog sounds as though he is the perfect weight. As long as you're not actually seeing his ribs & spine, he's fine. You can always try increasing the amount of food you feed if you can't afford better. Trust me, you don't need the higher protein foods to fatten him up. I did just fine making mine fatter just by feeding him more. That's why he is overweight now, and I am trying to get him to lose weight. One of the better quality foods they have at Walmart is Racheal Ray's Nutrish, and I believe they carry the new Purina. Don't remember what its called, but I think its in a yellow bag. Ingredient-wise they are fairly good for the price.
  • A diet starts in earnest after you've cut back on his food by one-third to one-half. Stick with this plan until he reaches a healthy weight. Be strong. In spite of those pleading looks, your dog will not starve. Also, keep in mind that the amount recommended on the bag or can of food is only a starting point. Dogs are individuals, and the amount they need to eat depends on a number of factors, including their metabolism, the type of food they eat, their age, how much exercise they get, and what the climate's like where they live. So after he loses his excess weight, continue adjusting the amount of food he gets until you find an amount that can sustain a healthy weight. You can check this site and review the dog foods http://uniquepetsproducts.com/pets-foods/dog-foods/ . Hope it helps.
  • Hi! Unless your dog looks sickly and weak, I guess it's okay that he's not putting on too much weight, especially if he tends to stay indoors. If you are really concerned, though, I can suggest IAMS for weight control. You may want to take him to the vet, too, to be sure his not gaining weight is normal. Good luck!

13 years old how to lose 50 pounds by winter?

I'm a 13 year old guy I am pretty tall ( over 6 feet) and I I weigh 250+. I am a big guy (been scouted for high school football) and I am in pretty good shape (can hike for miles and buck hay bales with ease, also can beat nearly everyone in a gym) but I look fat and haven't been able to get the fat to go away. Some people will say don't worry about it because I am in good shape, and I realise that but I'm reaching a age where I want girls to notice me and I don't want to be called the fat kid any more even though I do triple the work on my family's ranch that people my age will ever do. My goal is to lose 50 pounds of fat by winter, any tips?

eat LOTS of protein so you wont lose muscle and actually gain some more. eat carbs only before you work out. run, jog, play football or soccer or bike... just exercise a lot, since you already are in good shape you have an advantage. hydrate and lift weights to speed up your metabolism, thus burning calories way faster! eat plenty of vegetables and dont worry because you are at that age when boys start manning up and become hot. good luck

  • Impossible
  • You may wish to go to the library and check out Dr. Joel Fuhrman's books on dieting. He is very helpful in this area, and at 13 years old now is a good time for you to get into and stay with great health habits for the rest of your life.
  • Well since exercise doesnt seem to be the issue, maybe a heathy diet if you dont already have one. Try the Paleo Diet (basically dont eat grains or junk food. http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2010/10/04/the-beginners-guide-to-the-paleo-diet/
  • Just to let you know if you lose fat you also lose muscle when you are that fat. Also to lose 50 pounds by winter may be impossible (especially since you're so tall). Anyways to lose fat do cardio and pay attention to what you eat and how frequently you eat.

How do I fix my metabolism?

Hi- For the past month I did a 1600 calorie diet, not eating back my exercise calories, and I didn't see any improvement. I posted on calorie count, where I track my cals, and it was pointed out for my height and weight (5'11", 152 lbs) I'm not eating enough and I probably slowed my metabolism down. the suggestion was to start eating more.Well, for the past 4 days I've been eating around 2000 calories and exercising, and I've definitely gained 4 lbs.I eat very healthy, but this is really frustrating me. How many more days of this is it going to take to 'fix my metabolism'? Could I just go to 1800 calories, which is what I should eat to lose weight and wait for my metabolism to catch up?Any advice is really greatly appreciated...thanks :)

Hi! I have a super fast metabolism, not bragging but I want to help you increase yours as well, just as I increased mine and you know how??...by EATING. Eat a lot of small meals throughout the day. Of course I'm talking about healthy meals such as granola bars, cheese sticks, fruit cups, cold cut sandwhiches, trail mix, cheeze Its, wheat thins, etc.... I'm like a freggin rabbit I snack so much. I'm 5'7 weigh 120 and that's how I got my metabolism up. Eat a lot of small meals throughout the day. I hope this helped! =))

Other Answers:

  • I would agree that you slowed your metabolism down by not eating enough. Your body has evolved so that when it doesn't get enough calories it goes into starvation mode and tries to retain as many as possible. I'm not familiar with calorie count but the following site takes what you weigh, how much you want to weigh, in what (realistic) period of time you can weigh what you want to weigh,, how much you exercise and gives you how many calories you need to take in. It seems you are guessing with 1600, then 2000 for 4 days and now 1800.http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/loginpage.asp?whereFrom=%2Fmyspark%2Fstart%2Dnow%2EaspYou have to sign up but it is free. How to Lose Weight Fast and Keep it Off

When wanting to lose FAT, that happens in the KITCHEN, as opposed to during the workouts. Although you want to keep the workouts so you are left with a toned and firm body as opposed to just a smaller one.The problems I see with your nutritional plan is mainly the calorie deficit. You will ABSOLUTELY burn muscle if you go down too much in calories. This is not good! not to mention you are having WAY too much dairy, which is counter productive to your goals. I would recommend a good carb cycling plan for you, if you stick to it, it burns fat like crazy, without making you feel tired or lethargic like most low carb diets do.I am not going to type out a meal plan for you here, but if you google "carb cycling for fat loss" there are tons of good solid plans out there, find the one that you are the most comfortable with and start it.Remember, though, that the key to success is being consistent! To lose fat that quickly you have to commit yourself to your plan, NO cheating until you reach your goal!Good Luck :)

How to loose a few pounds?

I''m a teenage girl, I''m 5''5 and I weigh 125 pounds. I''d like to loose anywhere from 10-15 pounds in the next 2 months if possible, WITHOUT STARVING MYSELF!
I''ve been trying to eat a maximum of 1,200 calories a day, like you''re supposed to. What else can I do?

Lose Weight Fast - How NOT to Lose Weight Fast!

In my opinion, you weigh the perfect amount for your height. But if you do want to lose a few pounds 1) Definately keep the max of 1,200 calories a day 2) Delete meat and/or unhealthy snacks/beverages from your diet because most fats come from this (I became a vegeterian to lose weight & not only has it impacted my weight but i have more energy!) 3) Drink only water BUT take calcium supplement you don''t want to lose bone density, it WILL effect your future 4) Find a workout that you love, if you like to walk maybe take a walk for 30 minutes before and after bed enjoying the nature ; or check out youtube try zumba or yoga. the possibilities are endless as far as workouts go 5) Food diary- keeping track of your weight/Food eaten per day will help you organize the food aspect of your life. 6) Enjoy Life i would do anything to go back and be a teen again. Don''t overly obess with weight even though it is good to be aware. People will not judge you at the end of the day by how you looked, but how you impacted them. Good Luck hon!

  • Go for a 2 hour run everyday

Do you think I''d lose weight if...?

I am a fat ass lol I love food and I love eating. I''m 5''1 and 130 lbs. My school said that I''m healthy but I could definitely be better. I am going to be totally honest. I eat carbs, carbs, and more carbs. Then I sleep it off because I usually eat wayyyy to much. I must have a lightning speed metabolism because I should be obese by the way I eat. No joke. Oh and I''ve been a vegan since I was 11 so that''s probably why I''m not overweight either. I have a muffin top and I have a fat face. I just feeluncomfortablee. If I ate 90% raw fruits and vegetables and barely any carbs, then I danced and jumped around for like an hour everyday to some music, do you think I''d lose weight? It''s winter over here in PA so in the summer I usually do lose like 10 lbs because I ride bike a lot. But I really want to be skinny before it starts getting hot out. Thanks :)

Lose Weight the Right Way and Keep it Off

Recommended Answer:
absolutely--stay healthy, fruits, veggies, water and exercise.

  • Yeah, you need a makeover. You should probably lose about 25 lbs which would be easy to do within about 2-3 molnths. Carbs have almost no nutrition; your body just stores them as FAT.

A good diet/exercise plan would be:

Breakfast: Cook 9-grain cereal (from health food store) in water with rolled oats and wheat bran. Make a big pot of it on weekends and scoop out 1/2 cup each morning. Add low fat milk, nuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine. Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day to raise blood sugar level which falls during the night.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey ½ sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich on whole grain bread (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham, or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, green or red peppers, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.
Or grilled fish with steamed veggies.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and green or red peppers.

Foods to avoid: junk food, fast foods, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fat/grease (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza, chips, fries), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.

To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Go hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming...play tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer..

If you lack energy to exercise, take Super B complex.
To lose weight, try an appetite suppressant.
  • Fruits, vegetables and protein would be good! You should be losing your fat, and not your bone and muscle mass. So small, consistent meals, with a little bit of everything, should do the trick! Doing crunches should target your muffin top.
    I wish you luck!

How to Get Motivated to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
Start out with an easy 10 min warm up in 3 steps. You want to pedal at 70-90 rpm with just enough resistance to get your heart rate to 85% of max. Start out with a 30 min goal and extend it to a hour or more. I shoot for two 60 min sessions, cut back on the food and you can lose weight like crazy.

You want a cold place like a garage or a fan so you don''t sweat like crazy.

  • As much as you used to run.
  • 4 hours a day
    ought to do it

Is There an Easy Way to Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
The term hardgainer is used to describe someone who lifts weights but
sees very little, or no, tangible results. Most hardgainers are not
hardgainers at all. They are simply people who don''t know how to do
the things right.
So, then, what can you do to get results?
Training Techniques. Many lifters go into the gym and perform the same
workout, with the same weight, over and over again, and wonder why the
results never come. Achieving the results you want isn’t difficult.
Simply make sure you are using Compound Exercises. Make sure that the
majority of exercises in your program are compound exercises. Compound
lifts include: squats, deadlifts, overhead press, bench press,
pullups, dips, rows, stiff-leg deadlifts, etc. Compound exercises are
the key to building strength and muscle. Isolation work, cable work,
pec deck flyes, and most machines won’t give you the results you want.
Progression. Keep a log of your workouts. Every time you exercise, try
to perform more reps than the last time. And when you hit the “rep
ceiling” for that particular exercise (anywhere from 6-20 reps), add
more weight the next time you lift. To make strength and muscle gains,
you must always be pushing for more reps and more weight. Sticking
with the same weight isn’t doing anything. Your body adapts quickly to
current workloads, and you will stop gaining muscle.
Do NOT train to failure. Training to failure is unnecessary, and taxes
the body. Try to stop one rep short of positive failure. Basically,
keep performing reps until you’re not sure you can perform another
rep, and then quit. It is not positive failure that makes you bigger
or stronger, it is the increased workload that comes from progression.
De-loading Periods. When your body feels over-trained, run down, very
sluggish, and/or you have nagging joint aches and pains from an
extended period of training, it is time to de-load. A de-load period
can be one or two weeks, and requires you to hit the gym and perform
your same routine, but using 30-40% weight, or 30-40% fewer reps. A
de-loading period will allow your body to retain its fitness level,
while you recover from fatigue.
Diet. You cannot train properly and then eat junk. Your body needs
the proper raw materials to grow.
Protein. Make sure you are eating enough protein. It is best to eat
5-6 smaller meals each day, spaced 2.5-3 hours apart. During each
meal, try to eat at least 25-30 grams of quality protein. It is also a
good idea to mix up your protein choice (eggs and chicken, seafood and
beef and so on).
Meals. Smaller, healthy meals keep a constant stream of muscle
building nutrients flowing through your system. Try to eat smaller
meals every 2.5-3 hours.
Calories. To grow, you can’t be under-eating. Estimate your lean
body mass (weight without body fat) with a skin-fold caliper, and then
multiply that number by 21. This is a good base daily caloric intake
to start with. For example, if your lean body mass is 150 pounds,
multiply 150 * 21, and you find that you need to eat a minimum of
3,150 calories each day. Of course, every person’s metabolism is
different. If you are losing weight, add 200-500 more daily calories
and see what happens over the course of the next two months. If you
are gaining too much fat, cut back the calories for a couple of
months. Always rely on your lean body mass (via a skin-fold caliper)
to help you decide your best course of action.
Zig zag. It is also a good idea to eat slightly more (200-500
calories) on training days. This zig zag effect assists your body in
gaining weight while minimizing, or negating fat gains.
Follow these simple rules, and you will see results. Train hard, train
heavy, train with compound movements, and eat right.

  • you are probably hyperthyroid or have graves disease, you will find it impossible to build muscle or put on weight if that is the case
  • basicall, on the days u r bodybuilding u need to eat an extra 400 chalories. If ur skinny, an dont eat enough to fuel yr muscles, there is no way they will grow, eat chicken, fish, eggs an milk . Also drink protein shakes after a workout. u need those extra calories fr muscle growth xx
  • If you''re a hard gainer like myself, gaining muscle will take a LONG time, and that is just a fact of life. Keep working out (check out scoobysworkshop.com for some good advice and workouts) and give it some solid time and the gains will come.
  • Your workout is high in repetition and that is the reason why you are not gaining weight. Also, you will need to take into account your activity level as well as your age and puberty possibly if you want to ensure that you get a high calorie diet to help you grow. Lastly, sleep is always a key people do wrong and that is what separates the pros or success from all who tried.

I would suggest eating a high calorie diet instead of one filled with fat is because your body only requires a certain amount of fat which you can possibly get from the excess calories from your carbohydrate. I also do not suggest so much protein as a fuel source as it leaves behind nitrates which can be put your kidneys and liver under unnecessary stress. I would suggest eating things like potatoes, biscuits, pasta, noodles, rice and bread in order to get the high calorie diet from carbohydrates. If fixing 6 meals up can be a problem due to the lack of time or if you are looking for something more convenient, I would suggest looking to drink 500ml of milk in between your meal for a total of 3 times a day. Increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml for each serving every week if you realize that you do not gain weight after a week of effort.

The next thing to get right is definitely sleep even before exercise. This is because even if you have the best workout and you get improper rest or insufficient amount of it, chances are this will cause you to lose weight and fall sick. One particular fact most people do not get right is definitely quality. Quality sleep means you need to sleep and wake up all by yourself. This can be difficult but I will still encourage you to do it on the weekend if possible and sleep the scheduled amount of hours on the weekdays when you are busy.

The workout is the main trigger to help you gain weight. This is done by using the workout at http://gohforth.com which I have seen many of my clients used and see effective results. The result of gaining 1 pound every week is quite possible as this workout will help you to trigger major muscles and help with progressive weight gain with little to no down time.

Should I do a 3 day liquid fast?

Hello. I'm a 14yr old girl and I just got informed about a Hmong assembly and got invited to go with my friends. However, we need to be dressed up for the occasion. Thats where my problem lies, I've been sick and lazy this past month so I didn't work out or anything. I didn't like gain alot of weight or anything but I'm still a little bloated so if I just did a liquid fast for 3 days (until the event) would it help me just look a little better? Im pretty thin just because I've been working hard on it for the past couple of years but I got some bloated pudge on me right now. And no, just because I know a few of you may mention, its not because of my menstrual cycle. And I know that I'm not gonna lose actually pounds or be able to continue this because it's not a proper way to lose weight. It will actually make you gain weight over time so please dont lecture.

Hypnosis - Lose Weight With Hypnosis Easily, Naturally & Permanently For Anyone and It Works

Recommended Answer:
You really do answer your own question.... There are no tricks...

... to lose weight a bit more 'efficiently' you could adopt the alternate day fasting (ADF), or zone diet strategy. ADF requires a person to know their daily/weekly calorie amount and then reduce that amount to create a deficit to lose weight (ie if you must eat 3000 cals daily to maintain you current weight and you wanted to lose 1kg per week for 12 weeks you would have to simply reduce your daily cals by 500 per day, and eat 2500 calories daily), with ADF you fast for two days a week and eat your weight loss calorie amount total for the remaining five days. You only eat one meal of 800 calories for breakfast on your two fast days and then zero calories for the remainder or the day, which also means no drinks or beverages that contain calories either. So... if your daily calories amount to lose weight was 2500 (2500x7 = 175000 calories you need to eat (or slightly less) per week to lose weight... if you eat 800 calories only for two days (1600 total) then the other five days you can eat more than your 2500... 2500 cals X 2 days - 5000 cals ... 1600 cals - 5000 cals = 3400, which can then be spread across the other 4 days. (3400 / 5 = 680 calories more per day) ... 2500 + 680 = 3180 calories per day!!! ... in a nutshell you eat 3180 calories per day for five days a week and 800 calories on two days; your weekly calorie amount to lose weight will still be the same (total of 17500 for the week), but the two days you fasted for will have created a larger/faster calorie loss compared to what you would have lost over a week if you had just eaten the same amount of calories each day.

The zone diet is almost the same as it uses a weekly calorie amount, but instead of having fast days, it has a different calorie amount each day. Some days are high and some are low.

The results from both diet strategies work... but with ALL diets to lose weight, you have to stick to them 100% ... doing it 99% often does not work... at the end of the day it all boils down to 'those people who know exactly what to do, and then do it... and those who know exactly what to do and choose not to do it' .... which type are you?

Good luck... ;0)

  • Have the fat surgically removed. Simple, easy, peasy.

How long before I see improvement?

So I've been on birth control (FOR ACNE) and I've gained some weight, I have to be on it for 6-8 more months and I want to lose 10-15 pounds, here's my routine:
Monday and Wednesday - swimming for 1 hour
Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday & Saturday - walking for 1 hour and HIIT for 20-30 mins
Friday - rest
I eat pretty healthy with the exception of a little bit of sugar (like dark chocolate covered acai berries)
I'm 5'2, 115 pounds? (I'm not sure)

I just want to know when I'm going to see progress in losing weight and toning up, also is this an effective routine? Thanks so much!

Lose Weight, No Sweat!

Okay, first of all it's important to weigh yourself at the same time in the day. First thing in the morning after your morning ablutions is best.

Second, your scales need to be on a solid surface, not carpet. Scales on carpet can give false readings.

Third, it's the weight loss over a week which matters, not day-to-day.

Some food can take as long as 2 days to pass through the body. Also muscle weight is more than fat weight, so if you are pumping the muscles you might not appear to lose weight every day.

For a man, you usually need about 2400 calories a day to stay the same weight. For a woman it's about 2000 calories. Subtract about 400 calories for a complete couch potato! To lose weight, drop to between 1/2 and 3/4 of your required intake. So for a man, between 1200 and 1800 calories a day. For a woman it should be between 1000 and 1500 a day.

Don't drop below that. If you do your body will drop its metabolic rate and you won't lose weight.

Personally I find it's more effective to follow the fast diet. In that, either 2 or 3 days a week you have "fasting" days where you eat only 1/4 of your daily requirement (so 600 calories for men and 500 for women). The rest of the time you eat normally - and it's really important to eat the full amount on non-fasting days to fool the body into keeping a high metabolic rate.

On the normal eating days that's a good time to do the extra exercise. On a fasting day, just have a bit of fruit for breakfast, some packet soup for lunch (soup is a good appetite suppressant and a packet soup is less than 100 calories). That leaves enough calories for a few hundred calorie evening snack.

Fasting days should not be consecutive, and they are easier to do than you might think because you always know that the next day you can eat normally! The great thing is that when you reach target weight you can drop back to just 1 fast day a week to keep it ticking over. There's no nasty diet food involved and you don't have to eat like a rabbit all the time.

  • OMG! you don't seem to under stand the basics of your body. Weight fluctuated between one and 5 pounds daily depending on how much water you have had and when your last took a poop.
  • DON'T weigh yourself everyday

    Every two weeks is best

Go over calories one day, still lose weight?

Do you think it's to horrible that I went over by 206 today? I did 40 minutes of cardio today. I have not gone over my calories at all in the past 2 1/2-3 weeks and I have been eating really healthy, but I did today b/c we had pizza for dinner tonight. So will going 206 calories over for just today mess up my weight loss? Thanks.

You probably burned that many calories with the cardio so you probably didn't gain anything, but you definitely didn't lose anything today either. You gotta treat yourself every once in a while and you did great with just 200 calories. Just keep up with the exercise and keep eating healthy!! You'll be fine. can I ask how much you lost so far? I'm just curious because I'm losing weight right now too.

  • One day is not that bad just don't go over constantly and keep working towards your goal.
  • No, of course not. I think having a cheat meal is a good way to keep on eating healthy. If you can't splurge every once in a while it becomes very boring.

A pound of fat is equal to 3500 calories, so your 40 minutes of cardio takes care of your 200 calories.

If I did this, would it be really bad? What could happen? Or would I lose weight in a okay manner?

If I were to have this everyday sometimes switch up dinner would it be okay?

Breakfast: A half green veggie and half fruit smoothie with flax seed and almonds
Snack: Blueberries and baby carrots
Lunch: Flat bread with hummus
Snack: Flax seed chips
Dinner: Brown Rice w/ 3 oz of fish or steak or chicken
w/ steamed broccoli
Water: 3 Liters, and at least one cup of green tea every other day?

Exercise:
100 sit-ups
20 push ups
2 mile walk or 1 hour
200 jumping jacks
70 squats
20 lunges
30 bicycle crunches
30 medium intensity cycling
100 donkey kicks
15 jumping squats
20 reverse crunches

And like two laxative pills every 3 days to clean out my colon?

Can I lose 23 pounds by spring break like this?

Recommended Answer:
Add more fruits and vegetables. Your diet is lacking in enough variety that it's going to be very hard to stick with. I would replace some of the flax seed with alternative nuts and seeds. I'd add in a protein and a fruit or vegetable at lunch. Try alternating the brown rice with other healthy cooked grains and grain-like foods such as quinoa (see if you can find a wonderful quinoa/wild rice/brown rice/red rice mix by Truroots—my husband and I love it).

Completely leave out the laxative pills. (1) you do NOT need to "clean out" your colon. That's a myth. If you are eating healthy, getting enough fluids and fiber, it will take care of itself. (2) taking laxatives constantly can be downright dangerous. You SHOULD NOT DO THIS!

Be careful, too, with your exercise. Don't force it. You might want to alternate different exercises on different days. So maybe walk and do your sit-ups and pushups one day, go bicycling the next day, and mix in the other exercises.

You should be able to lose weight, but remember there is no quick weight loss that works, slow and steady with exercise and a healthy diet is the best way.

Eat healthy and I would start walking for about 45 minutes per day. With a good diet and the walking you should start to lose the weight. It may come off quicker at first and then become harder as time goes on. That is when you adjust the exercise portion of your routine to something more. I hope this helps and good luck :-)

  • The fastest way to lose fat and de-bloat (so your stomach looks smaller too) is doing a high-protein, low carb diet. My blog describes this diet (on which I lost 50 lbs during 3 months) in detail.

Is juicing healthy for you.?

Friends keep arguing that there is too much sugar in green juices. And that its not healthyfor you to do. I'm trying to clean out my system and reboot it and get on a healthy diet to loose weight. Any links to research or info on juicing would be great. Thank you.

Lose Weight As You Get Older - Ezine Articles

This question cannot be answered with a "Yes" or "No". Here, however, are some considerations.

Once you get into juicing, you'll probably realize it was a bad idea. It takes a lot of time, you throw away much of what you're paying for as well as much of your nutrition, and you may suffer GI problems more often, especially if you juice veggies, not to mention that juicing is not as healthful as you think. In general, juicing on a daily basis is a bad idea. My juicer is sitting in a cupboard somewhere gathering dust. If you wan to drink healthy, drink water.

The problem with juicing is the process eliminates much of the fiber and some of the nutrition available in the fruits and vegetables. However, it passes on the sugars and calories in concentrated form. The result is you miss the normal digestive processes and the satisfaction that goes with it so you'll be hungry sooner. What you throw away when you clean your juicer is part of your food and that's not only part of what you're paying for, it's part of what your body needs. For example, the fiber you lose when extracting juice will help keep that 15-20 foot long GI tract (smooth muscle) healthy and you regular.

Also, when you drink your juice it goes much faster because there is no mastication involved. That makes it easy to dump the sugars into your stomach before your blood glucose increases and suppresses your appetite. So, you can drink the juice and get all the fructose of ten oranges in half the time it takes you to eat one orange making eating rather than drinking the obvious best choice for dieters and the best way to get all nutrition the fruits and veggies have to offer.

Also, if the fruit or vegetable contains a systemic bacteria such as e.coli (which caused an epidemic among spinach eaters in the US a few years ago), you'll get much more of the bacteria by juicing. The same applies to contaminants such as pesticides which are sometimes spilled in the fields and end up in the food in trace amounts. Juicing not only concentrates the good substances, but the bad ones as well.

Time is another problem with juicing. If you can save one minute per day at the end of a year you'll have six hours to spend doing what you want. That's dinner and a movie. When you find out how much time is takes to shop for fruits and veggies, prep them, juice them, and clean up after, if you juice daily you're going to spend about one whole week of 24 hours days (168 hours of your life) doing nothing but making juice each year.

Eating food is a natural process. Extracting juice and drinking it, it not a natural process. Generally, the natural way is better because we have evolved using it.

Good luck and good health!!

  • Your friends are crazy, watch fat sick and nearly dead, It changed my life.
  • I wonder what your friends are putting in their green drink? Juicing is good for you if you are juicing healthy foods which normally consist of vegetables and some fruit. As long as you don't add sugar or use store bought fruit juice then it's perfectly healthy.
I make a green drink of kale, broccoli, cucumber, fresh squeezed lemon juice, mix of fresh berries and filtered water. It's not that great tasting but I feel hella good!
ps. Stay away from ready made juices and smoothies.
  • Depends how your body handles it. If you eat as well as juicing then you will get fat.

If you juice all day, make sure it's not high in sugar because sugar IS FAT!!

Juicing alone will make you lose weight, but he also added exercising (walking).

I need help losing weight in order to support my amazing friends!?

I run the 400m & 800m in track and I'm a good, solid runner for our team. I was on the A teams for 4x4 and 4x8 last year. I was hoping to stay there this year, but I knew there would be some good competition from my teammates (my cross country teammate went to state - as a freshman!). As it turns out, the majority of our top mid-distance group is not even participating in track this year. So, while I thought there was going to be competition, now it's likely that I will be a necessary part of both teams.
The best three runners also run in both events, and they are all exceptional runners. I've got talent, but I also tend to have too much fat for the distances I run. While I am very muscular and strong, I usually feel very bulky until I get in shape. Even then, I run with a very powerful stride; I'm fast, but not necessarily "quick." I really want to get to my peak running weight so I can support my amazing team.
What kind of diet plan can I follow to start losing fat now so that I'll be prepared? Also, I tend to eat a lot when I get stressed, which often happens right before a race!! It's awful!! Are there any stress-eating management tips I can try?

My trainer put me on a no-sugar diet and it has totally leaned me out. Basically Water, low glycemic vegetables, lean protein, nuts (no cashews), eggs and only wheat pasta or quinoa for carbs. No fruit, no dairy, no artificial sweeteners, and of course no candy, processed carbs

I cant help with stress eating, Im the worst, but I found after about 4 days of the no sugar eating, I wouldnt even be hungry even during stressful times. Eventually I added in back fruit and small amounts of dairy

  • There are many ideas to do that. Many company's product are available there please choose a good one and get that. Do not forget to do physical exercise and sugarless diet.

Six Simple Ways For You To Lose Weight

Recommanded Answer:
I have always been a healthy eater. But yes you will feel better and look better by giving your body the fuel it needs. Look at it this way, it won't be easy to eat healthier. You will have a cravings that will be out of this world. Here is some food for thought: Did you know that it takes only 8 weeks for your mind to develop a habit? So if you eat healthy for 8 weeks you will no longer desire or even want unhealthy food. The food you are eating will become your habit or routine. That is why many weight loss plans/programs are 8 weeks...but most people quit between 4-5 weeks and go back to their bad ways:)

  • Felt better, ate less, dropped 10 lbs.
  • Ive been eating alot better. I sometimes miss unhealthy food and go out to eat at ihop like i did tonight. Ive been going to the gym every day and feel alot healthier. I get anxiety when I don't go to the gym. I love this new lifestyle. I have to get better at keeping the junk food cravings out of my system!
  • you're so stupid... I don't wanna be less irritable. I wanna get irritated and get angry and kick against the BS going on around and do something the hect to stop that stupid irritation. What's that what irritates me is the BS around and BS people think I'm not the boss I'ma show them.
