Is gaining 5 pounds noticeable?

So I'm currently recovering from an eating disorder, and so far I've gained about 5 pounds. It could be water weight, I'm not sure. See, I gained the weight in the first 3 days of my recovery, and then for the past 3 weeks or so I've gained nothing, and I've been eating the same amount, sometimes more. So I'm quite confused about that. But I feel like it's noticeable, like when I look in the mirror I look fatter. I don't know if it's just in my head, but it feels like super noticeable. I know in recovery you shouldn't think those things, because its normal to gain weight, but I was just wondering because I'm feeling really paranoid right now.

Hi Nora!It would depend on the person. It probably wouldn't be very noticeable, but I'm not sure if you're asking because you want it to be noticeable or not.I'm no expert about eating disorders, but if it helps you, maybe seeing your healthy weight range on the body mass index chart will give you confidence.http://www.grand-slam-weight-loss-tips.com/support-files/bmi-chart-in-pdf.pdfIf you're interested in a super good book that helps people break disorders, I'd recommend The Bondage Breaker by Neil T. Anderson.http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=bondage%20breakerYou'll conquer this!Wendy
