Overall changing you diet is more important than exercise, that's not to you shouldn't exercise you should. I am 17 and 5 9 i was 230 lbs and i have dropped it down to 215, in about a month and a half, mostly by changing my diet and exercise. i only intake about 1600 calories a day and run every other day and there are plenty of basic body lifting exercises that you can find on the internet. also i do not suggest you only taking in only 1600 i don't really know how many you should be taking in mine is based on my age and height.Other Answers:
- Don't forget to still incorporate some good carbs to keep you going while you do your cardio and when you are done try drinking chocolate milk, coconut water, a protein drink, or eat a banana to recuperate the salt and sugar you have lost and it will also aid with muscle soreness(: try drinking some tea as well or making your own vegetable juices and adding some fruit to sweeten it up because trust me water can get boring after a while. also dont forget to stretch after every workout to prevent injuries and soreness good luck!
- Have a look at 'Convict Conditioning'. A series of bodyweight exercises that progress in difficulty. Works quite well.Having a strong coffee before a workout or a run is actually good for you. The caffeine not only gives you the 'hit' which can make you go faster/further but it also helps burn body fat. Look it up if you don't believe me.Might want to do the running on one day then the exercises on another.Sweet potatoes, cous cous, rice and plenty fresh veggies, some fish too, that'll keep you going.
