Personally I can spend 6-7 hours on my bike a day and burn 4000 calories or even more. That's the training trip alone. The body will keep working hard after training also to recover, and for that it needs food. So it goes without saying I can eat a lot of food those days, 3 dinners in one etc. and I will remain as slim as I've always been. 6500+ calories that is. But obviously since I am so slim from before I don't have that much weight to loose... It depends on your size you know and your body's metabolism. If you're in need of loosing weight I might not be the best person to compare to, but answer to your question is that yes you can eat like a pig and loose weight at the same time.Other Answers:

- Would have to know your weight/age and overall activity but unless you are an underweight dwarf who stayed in bed all day except for the treadmill you likely didn't gain weight today eating 3000 and burning 950 by cardio (It could be less cause they tend to exaggerate these thing but still it's probably a lot)
- Try swimming. It burns a ton of calories.
