How did you lose the weight!? How can I lose the weight!?

I am having hard time losing weight. I am 14 and want to wear a bikini for the summer. But I am like 160 pounds, 37 inches around my stomach, and a size XL in clothes. I am a vegetarian and only drink water. I don''t eat lunch I just have a snack. Like an yogurt. For dinner I have salad and fruit for breakfast. I try to run a mile every (other) day. Nothing is working I started this at the start of the year. I am trying to work out my abbes too. I also go to the gym. So what can I do? How did you lose the weight?

Well the first problem is your diet. You should eat at least six times a day. By not eating or eating too small portions of food too far from each other its causing your metabolism to slow down. To increase your metabolic rate you need to eat six small meals a day starting at about 7 am and eating your last meal at 8pm. Breakfast can be a low fat smoothie. followed later with a fruit as a snack ( since you are a vegetarian I would suggest eating a handfull of nuts). Lunch can be a slice of brown bread with low fat cheese spread. Make a shake for a snack between dinner and lunch. (if you can buy a weigh loss shake or a cereal bar one made for losing weight). For dinner eat steamed veggies and potato. And then for a snack at 8pm you get weight loss instant pudding. Remember that you need to consume protein the size of your palm and the thickness of your palm every day. So eat any other source of protein. Do exercise on an empty stomach, this will optimize the ammount of fat that will be burnt. Drink 2 glasses of water before every meal. Instead of just doing cardio exercises, try finishing all your exercises with a 30min cardio exercise (30mins is the minimum ammount of cardio you should be able to do). The only way you will get in shape for summer is if you suck it up and do more exercise. Eat healthy.

You can expect:
The first 4 weeks not to finish all your 6 meals. Since your body is used to being fed at irregular times.
You will crave foods like chocolate ect, because ypur body is used to taking in a large ammount of fat food that it will need more.
In the first for weeks you will also see a dramatic weight loss which will slowly decrease. (that is if you do exercise every day and not cheat)
