How to Lose Weight in 2 Weeks by Eating Healthy Food

Recommended Answer:
Losing 10 lbs a month is a good and safe target. Any faster weight loss is likely to be temporary only and in most cases you regain it all.

Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.

You can always eat negative calorie foods for weight loss and below is a list of negative calorie foods that will boost your metabolism.

Negative Calorie Fruits:
apples
cranberries
grapefruit
lemons
mangoes
oranges
pineapple
raspberries
strawberries
tangerines

Negative Calorie Vegetables:
asparagus
beets
broccoli
cabbage (green)
carrots
cauliflower
celery
Chile peppers (hot)
cucumber
dandelions
endives
garden cress
garlic
green beans
lettuce
onions
papaya
radishes
spinach
turnips

These foods don't actually have negative calories but when you eat these foods raw or slightly cooked your body burns more calories digesting and processing them than what is in the food itself.

For a healthy weight loss add some of these foods to your diet each day. Most of them are full of healthy nutrients such as fiber, antioxidants and enzymes as well as vitamins and minerals.

You can see further details in a web search for "list of negative calorie foods".

Gaining weight quickly?

I am 110 and I want to be 115 ideally within the next 2 weeks. How can I do this? I want to gain 5 pounds with of healthy fat to look less stick-like. Anything helps! :)

Tips for Losing Weight Fast - Burn the Fat or Eat the Muscle?

Recommended Answer:
My suggestion is to try to gain 5 pounds in a month or so rather than in 2 weeks. This is because the chances of you succeeding by gaining 5 pounds in a month is higher compared to gaining it in 2 week. Unless you have the financial backing to hire me, fly me over and do a workout stint and diet for you, here is what I can provide for you over the internet.

The key thing about diet is to eat more calories. This does not mean you feed yourself huge meals 3 times a day. This will lead to indigestion, gastric pains and other digestive complications because there is only so much your body can digest at one time. The idea is to eat more meals a day, preferably 6. This can be difficult if you are on the move all day like I'm so I suggest just stick to your 3 meals like you do but bring a long a liter of milk with you before you leave the house. Drink 500ml of milk in between each of your meal and finish the last dose 2 hours after dinner. This will provide the extra calories you need to gain weight. If after a week your weight is still not going up, simply increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml and stick to your normal portions for your normal meals. Keep doing this until you gain the weight you need to. You should be putting on roughly a pound a week in my opinion. Once you gotten 2-3 pounds, it is time to focus on getting the right workout to help you build muscles and ensure that your body gain weight more steadily.

The best workout to do in order to grow muscle mass in terms of size is to do a high weight low repetition workout called hypertrophy. This will adjust your muscles to use the food you eat as the main source of energy rather than oxygen like smaller muscles do. If you are starting out to gain muscle mass, perhaps you should download the program at http://gohforth.com. This program has been extremely effective for me personally and also benefited my clients very well.

One thing that many people miss out is the fact that sleep is extremely important to help you gain weight and maintain a strong immune system. This is because when you stay up late, have interrupted sleep cycle or not enough hours of rest, you will burn more calories throughout the day and this means that you have to eat more or risk loosing weight. This is made worse if your metabolism is like mine in the past and this will probably mean you will lose up to 3-4 pounds in a week due to poor quality sleep. The road is long and tough, but as long as your stick by the 3 things which is a high calorie diet, sleep well and do the right workout regime, you will see roughly a 1 pound of muscle weight gain a week. I hoped I have helped you.

Does drinking alcohol make you skinny or fat?

I know it is not healthy for you. But I am just curious because I am on a diet but I wanna drink today, will that make me gain weight or lose it?

Fastest and Natural Way to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
alcohol comes in different ways. if you have beer for example your loading yourself with carbs and calories and yeast so you will look fat and bloated but not exactly "gain weight" unless you binge drink then yea you could get a "beer belly"
if your having cocktails what really gets you "fat would be the extra 500 mg sugar from the pinapple extract or the super sugary frutiy drinks out there, the alcohol itself like rum and vodka etc, wont get you fat it carries calories but its not really enough, and by the time you have "enough" calories from the alcohol, youll probably be throwing up making you "skinny"
what you should do is stop eating yellow snowballs lmao

  • You dont gain or lose its what you eat after drinkin.

  • Drinking alcohol does not do a single thing for the human body, it makes you drunk and it make your brain cells weak, in some cases they damage. Your blood can get poisoned and so on. To keep a long story short drinking doesn't do anything, well to your diet plan.
  • Gain-- it's loaded with calories
  • if you drink alchohol in moderation it's fine, but if you drink too much i guess it may be fattening.
if you drink alcohol occasionally it shouldn't be a problem.
  • Depends on the type of drink, depends on the person, depends on their response to drinking.

How many calories should a 4'11 130 lbs girl eat daily in order to lose weight?

I'm aiming to lose about 25 pounds by the end of this summer. I am exercising, doing 30 minutes of cardio and then jogging for about an hour 5 times a week.

It's said that a girl of my height and weight should only consume about 1200 calories daily, but since it's also said that I need the energy to burn off the calories, which means I should consume even more, I don't know how much I actually need. Help?

Weight Loss - Are You Fighting With Yourself to Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
1200 is kind of low, you're very active I wouldn't deprive myself of nutrients knowing that. Go for around 1500 but keep those Cal's healthy ones. Calories coming from refined sugar (like 150 for 2 tiny coffee packets) is different than calories that also come with protein, vitamins, and healthy fats.

  • id say be active
an eat 10x your body weight from calories
  • 1200 calories a day are 500 calories a day fewer than it takes to maintain your current weight. The removal of 500 calories promises weight loss, though you will need to play with the numbers until you find the balance between enough energy and enough calories fewer. I'm losing about one pound per week, as i have no deadline and am content to go slowly. You would lose more than one pound per seek by removing 500 calories.
  • Overweight is always caused by incorrect eating habits.
Without correct eating habits, no matter what you eat or do, it is hard to reduce weight.

I would like to share my personal experience with you about reducing my body weight with a very easy way.
After follow "the ideas for food and drinks" mentioned on DEISO, I lose 20 pounds very easily and shortly. What I do is changing my eating habits only. On the other words, I did not go on a diet nor calculate calories intake, even not take exercise, I keep in shape till now. The most important thing is I regain health, my skin is tightened with shining bright color. If you are eager to take off your body weight, I recommend you to read the book of EDISO.
  • Regardless of height, a moderately active 130lb female can easily lose weight on 1500 calories per day.
  • I think you should check out http://goo.gl/3uIy3 for an amazing toning and weight loss technique
  • I always find I burn more running than on eliptical or the bike
  • go to the store and buy the weight watchers brownies at the store. DUH!!!
  • A diet without exercise = eating. Your body needs to exercise.

What am I doing wrong in my excercise?

Hi.
Ok so i've got a problem with working out and gaining weight and this has been going on for a long time actually. Every time i start working out and work out for some amount of time with a good schedule and im keeping at it good, I get phukkin pneumothorax. Pneumothorax is like a lung disorder or something, so whenever I get it I have to stop my practices for about 3 months.

First time I said to myself I wanted to get buff and strong was about a year and a half ago and after the first 2 weeks of working out, I got my first pneumothorax. Here's what i was doing:
About 2 sessions of 30 mins of working out my abs and doing pushups. Mostly I was doing abs cause I couldnt handle too many pushups. I did this every day for 2 weeks until I got pneumothorax.

After waiting about 3 months I started again, this time I wanted to plan it out better and do everything more systematically. I ate very carefully and worked out very carefully. At first I started small but eventually I got to this routine:

1. So first day I would do a full body workout, lots of pushups, lifting. I lifted heavy enough that I could only do a maximum of 10 reps per session, as people told me to. I also did abs and everything. It was probably 90mins the whole workout.
2.Every other day when I wasnt building I would run for 45 minutes at 9km/h.
3.I ate lots of protein, meat, vegetables, the same breakfast every day: oatmeal and was generally doing everything I could to see results.

So with this thing I did see results, yeah. I kept this routine for about 3-4 months. I had a perfect stomach, there was absolutely no fat at all and I was pleased at least with this. BUT, I saw very little progress on my arms I still had very little arms and small shoulders. I did look like a fit guy, but in no condition could I say I did any progress toward getting buffed. So after these 3-4 months of this routine, I got my pneumothorax again.

After doing nothing for 4 months (again), I've gotten pretty much back to where I started.
Now can someone please help me and tell me what I was doing wrong, did I push myself too hard or something. Should I have gone more slowly? Eat something else? Eat more? Run less?
Please i'm pretty desperate here, I don't want to look like a toothpick for the rest of my life and the thing that angers me the most is: I really enjoy working out, but I'd enjoy it so much more if I saw some real results. Thanks to anyone who'll take the time to help me and write a bit more then just a couple of words. Oh btw, totally forgot i'm 20 years old, 185cm and i weight 63kg.

10 Reasons to Lose Weight & Improve Your Weight Loss

It seems your diet or your workout is not working for you. There is a broad walkway to walk on to gain weight but it seems you prefer walking the tight rope of gaining just enough muscles rather than gaining a bit of fat before you start gaining muscles so that you can stay healthier and get around 1pound of gains each week. Here is what I do since you already know the main things to do in order to gain weight.

The key thing about diet is to eat more calories. This does not mean you feed yourself huge meals 3 times a day. • Lift heavy and eat 1.5 grams of Protein per lb of body weight friend!
  • If you are indeed having pneumothorax, repeatedly, you need to see a doctor. There are surgical procedures to fix that. I can not see anything having to do with your work out that would have caused such a condition. If a doctor has not done so already, you need to have a CT scan done to determine how to best repair the damage.

Holiday Weight Loss Tips - How to Lose Weight During the Holiday Season

Recommended Answer:
There is something called the "Master Cleanse" (Lemonade diet). ...I did this a few years ago and lost 10 lbs in about 10 days. ...many doctors are against this, saying that it loses muscle tissue as opposed to fat, but I felt very good after the 10 days, so i can only comment by my own experience.

The Daily Recipe:

7 1/2 cups purified filtered water (not tap)
3/4 cups grade B pure organic maple syrup (not the fake pancake maple syrup)
3/4 cups fresh squeezed juice of (preferably) organic lemons
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

The above will provide a concoction you can drink throughout the day and it actually tastes really good (the cayenne gives it a nice little kick). ...no food whatsoever is allowed during these days of cleansing. ...you may, however, drink plain decaf herbal tea or laxative tea at night. Also, if you want to flush your body further, you can drink a quart of warm filtered water with 2 tsp of organic sea salt (not iodized) in the morning and at night...this salt/water mixture will cause diarrhea within about 1.5 hrs and the taste is disgusting (I just plugged my nose and guzzled it), but I figure if I'm going to do the job, I may as well do it right the first time... ...and it paid off, it was great losing 10 lbs in such a short amount of time.

When I did this cleanse, the first 4 days were grueling, then after that it became easy for me and I felt like i could go on forever (but I believe the max for this cleanse is recommend for 11 to 14 days). ...if you have health problems (like diabetes), disregard this entire answer.

How can I lose at least 5 pounds in a week easily?

I am 5 feet and 5 inches weighing 150 pounds so I am overweight. I want to know how I can lose 5 pounds within a week or 2 and then I can slowly progress. Advice?

What Do You Think The Fastest Way To Lose Weight Is?

Recommended Answer:
It's really not as complex as you might think. Seriously. Eat REAL food...eat SIMPLE. You don't have to follow a crazy strict diet. Eat to your needs. A little tip....if it has a food label with ingredients, it isn't real food. Fruits don't have that...vegetables don't have that...chicken doesn't have that...you get the idea
As far as exercises go, I know that you say you want to focus on loosing the weight first and getting the muscles later...but they are one in the same. Muscle mass burns fat. The more muscle you build the more fat you will burn. So what I am telling you is that you need to lift and lift HEAVY. You need to lift weights that challenge your body. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. Yes, you will want to do cardio as well to get your heart rate up and help you burn those calories and fat as well. But TRUST ME when I say you want to incorporate the weights...probably focus on them even more than the cardio.

  • Eat Crackers And Drink Water For A Week
  • At 150 pounds don't try to lose 5 pounds in a week. Shoot for a pound or two a week and in 6 months you will lose 26+ pounds. This will be better for your body. Develop good eating habits and exercise at least 3 times a week and you will be able to accomplish your goals. I have lost 12 pounds in 7 weeks by keeping the same lifting pattern and giving up junk food and soda.
