How to Lose Weight Without Getting Saggy Skin

Recommended Answer:

Based on your height and weight, as well as your strength, I believe that the best fit for you is at tight end. You have the ideal size for a high school tight end.My best advice for you is to work hard and perform very well in practice every day. In addition, what you need to do this month (and every offseason) is eat healthy, exercise by doing weight lifting, and either jogging or going for a long run every day. If you do these things, you will get faster, stronger, into better shape, and lose some weight, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful, top notch tight end in football.

Other Answers:

  • two questions...are you fast? can you block? tight ends not only catch passes but block for running backs and protect the QB sometimes as well. weight is good but not enough against 300 lb DL min
  • I would assume TE would be better. You are kind of short to play WR, buy you have a fair amount of weight. If I was coach I wouldn't put somone that size at WR. Like the guy above mentioned, blocking is much more important at TE. You should be just fine their with that wieght and height.
  • te 6'4wr 6'2
  • depends how old are you
  • i would lose some weight and play wide receiver, wide receivers are 5-9 to 6-0 but your height is fine but that weight needs to go downtight ends are around 6-0 to 6-3 and higher, usually basketball bodies play tight end

The best advice i can give you is motivate yourself daily before you work out. Know what you want before you go to the gym or work out at home. Keep it in mind, because if you want to be in extremely good shape, obviously you'll have to work really hard. You'll have to keep up your motivation because sometimes that's the first thing that gets seeped out of you.Start by "cleaning up your diet" because you are going to need both the energy and the nutrients. You can use various foods for protein sources. Eggs are a good idea since they are cheap and very high in protein. Sometimes you can get protein powder for a decent price (chocolate protein is tastier than eggs, I think, at least.) Other than that, I recommend eating the healthiest diet you can conjure up with everything being in moderation.Being that i'm a twiggy awkward girl, i have never been much into bulking, but wise fellow i know told me a few good tips. Separate your cardio and bulking/weightlifting days. Alternate muscle groups on the days you workout.Eat foods like carbohydrates for energy before you workout. Then eat protein after you workout. Consume the protein within one hour of exercising (20 minutes is a good time after). There are tons of exercises you can find online with whatever equipment you have available. I wrote an article about journaling for health. I suggest that if you want to go the route of writing your progress down that you could possibly print out workout plans online or exercises you'd like to try to take to the gym/or wherever. http://voices.yahoo.com/how-keep-diet-journal-12250774.html?cat=5I think its best to track your progress in what you eat and how much you do everyday. Its an easy way to test and see what works for you and what does not.And to have a body more like Bruce lee, research what he did daily when he was your age.Good luck(Also, when it comes to weight loss (in terms of fat) you do lose a bit of muscle, so many people recommend that you build the muscle first then lose the fat while retaining the most muscle. You can do this by keeping your protein intake up and continueing to weight train.Try cycling the two.)

Other Answers:

  • Gain a lot of weight then work out like crazy !! Everyday , get a trainer if you don't already know how to use the gym properly
  • Work out a lot every dayTake one day for resting every week, but do various workouts throughout the week. You can't expect to see results right away, I hope you know that

Are suspenders appropriate for my situation?

I have been losing weight monthly. I am 5'11 male. i used to weigh 270 but I now weigh 220 and I am still trying to lose more weight. I can no longer use a belt to hold my pants up. I would buy a new pair of pants but if I end up losing another 20+ pounds then i will have to buy a new pair...I was thinking I could wear suspenders until my pants and shorts are too big, then I will buy new pants and shorts. My final goal is 170

Whats a good laptop for my preferences?

I'm going to college in a month, and I'm getting my laptop tomorrow for my four years at the university. I want to be able to do everything fast, slow computers do not work for me. I also cannot stand an unreliable computer, I need one I know will perform when I need it to. I also NEED to be able to game, I don't see how I will be able to game on a console much in a college dorm with three guys I don't know. So I will have to switch to PC gaming. I want a computer that will be able to run games I enjoy at a high quality. I'm not really into action packed fps's, so I won't need a PC that can run battlefield 4 at max settings, I do enjoy games like DayZ, Amnesia, Dark Souls, and mainly RPG games. I have a budget of anywhere between $300-700. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to walk into best buy and feel rushed to pick a computer.Oh yeah! I also play alot of FIFA, alooooot of FIFA.

How to Quickly Lose Weight by Drinking Water

I would go with ASUS or HP. ASUS has the best warranty when it comes to laptops. Some of their models come with a two year warranty. Their higher end comes with a one year accidental warranty. HP can give you a reliable best bang for the buck laptops or they can give you give you a superior system if you step up in their high end systems.Look for a Intel i5 or above or AMD A8 APU or above combined with a dedicated graphics chip. Do not buy anything that has Intel graphics.Brand buying adviceYou get what you pay for. Systems with high end parts with low prices are to be viewed with suspicion. They have to cut corners somewhere to get the price down. What cost you less today is going to cost you more tomorrow.Apple makes a good quality laptop. The problem comes when it requires service or minor upgrades. It is near impossible to do anything with them. They even glue the battery and hard drive down so you can not change it. They solder the ram to the logic board so you can not increase it. They lock up most of the software so your stuck with what they approve.Lenovo has serious stand behind their product problems. They bought IBM PC division and proceeded to drive the quality of the system into the ground. Their customer service is well below par. They even makes Dell customer service look good. Lenovo will not allow people to read instruction on how to access the BIOS menu or to get info on their puters on their web site unless you connect to them thru Facebook. They do this so they can spy on their users. The last and final thing to remember about them is they are a Chinese Government own company. It is up to you if you want to trust them.Toshiba, Panasonic, Sony should be avoided because of their heavy modification of Windows and the drivers. If you remove some of the bloat they install, you can cripple the system.Acer, Gateway, and eMachines should be avoided period. Low end system that are driving the race to the bottom.Dell once made a good system and fell from grace. They are now struggling to regain their place in the market. Customer service is one of many problems with this company.Alienware are glorified Dells and are more name then product. Priced extremely high for what you get. They do perform but you can get the same for less by looking around, just not packaged to be eye candy to the gamers.Samsung has a history of using cheap parts in critical areas. Capacitors has been one area Samsung has a known history of going cheap, causing units to fail early. For that reason I would avoid them.ASUS and HP do not modify Windows as bad as the other manufacturers. They have excellent build quality. They might add a lot of bloat but they also makes it easy to get rid of it.Ultrabooks are the higher end of Wintel laptops but they have some of the same concerns as Apple. They make it next to impossible to change any hardware in them. Service of them will have to be done by the manufacturers. With most of them, you can not change your own battery or hard drive. They are designed to catch your eye but they are not any more special then other laptops except for the fact that they are slim or thin. Your paying for it being thin and slim. For the money your going to spend on it you can buy a much better laptop with more power.Hybrids are the worse of the worse. The flip or detachable touch screens are just a disaster waiting to happen.Never buy an All In One. They are far worst then laptops of any kind to service and they have a higher failure rate. Choose wisely.:)

  • For me the dell xps ultra book was very good. Also Alienware laptops are very reliable especially the x18 laptop. Final recommendation don't buy an apple computer. They are to expensive and honestly they really don't worth the price.

Quick Weight Loss Tips - How to Lose Weight Safely and Sustainably

Recommended Answer:
About 2 months with the right diet. A good plan would be:

Breakfast: low fat milk on cooked 9-grain cereal (from health food store), mixed with cooked oatmeal and wheat bran. Add some nuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine.

Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey sandwich on whole grain bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts and yogurt w/fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham or beef stew.

Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit: banana, orange, apple, kiwi, grapes, peach, nectarine, cherries, pineapple. No chips and nothing ever from a vending machine.

Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it.

Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.

Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes.

Foods to avoid: junk food, pastries, desserts, sugar, salty foods, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fatty/greasy foods (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza), pasta, potatoes, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, fast food, soda, chips. And of course no tobacco or alcohol in any form. Both of those add wrinkles and destroy your brain. No oil except olive and mac nut. Coffee also rots your brain.

To keep your skin clear, drink water. Veg. juice is good too. But not canned juice (too much sugar.)

Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Also hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, badminton, tennis...

If you lack energy to exercise, take stress B vitamins.
To lose weight, try an appetite suppressant.

  • if you work hard enough, you could lose 2lbs a week. so I''m thinking around 2 months or so
  • It might take about a good month and some weeks
  • Depends... Your weight loss will depend on your genetics, exercise/activity level, your diet, hydration levels and your sleep patterns.

    1. Drink plenty of water
    2. Avoid processed foods
    3. Eat lean meats, veggies/fruits and good fats
    4. Exercise regularly
    5. Avoid alcohol in excess
    6. Try to sleep 6-8 hrs per night
    7. Manage stress

If you stick to these basics, there is no reason why you can''t lose 1-2 pounds per week.

    That''s the recipe!!! Good Luck.
  • It depends on how fat you are at this point. The more obese and otu of shape you are the easier it will be to lose the weight.

    1. Avoid processed foods (ex. anything in a wrapper).
    2. Stick to: lean meats, veggies, fruits, and whole grains.
    3. Drink lots of water it helps your metabolism.
    4. Exercise. If you dont'' know how, go on youtube for ideas.
  • Theres a calculator for this I''ve been using it recently.
You tell it your goal how much you want to lose a week so how every weeks you have till you go and divide it up. Then add your meals (once you''ve added one once you can click them in after that) add any exercise you do, and it calculates every time you add something if you are on target to lose said lb''s that week or gain...

What is good about a gadget like this is that you can add your meals for the day before you have them, then you can tweak them so you know you''re always on target. It also add cholesterol levels which I just love.. It shocked me how high mine was I always thought my diet was quite healthy lol :)

I promise you, you won''t regret trying it. You might be like I was and a bit flaky with it to start with, but I don''t know of anything else as useful as this

Lose Weight With Herbal Products

Recommended Answer:
If you are looking to gain weight, the first step is to get your diet done right first. This means eating a high calorie diet from complex carbohydrates in natural food. Also, you will need to sleep well and do the right workout to create weight that will stay on your frame for a long time rather than keep feeding so much calories daily to ensure that you do not lose weight. Diet is the first place to this 2 pronged attack so let start there.

a high calorie diet needs to consists of at least 55-60% carbohydrates. As a rule of thumb, let your plate decide how much food you are taking. 60% is slightly more than half so aim for that same amount on your plate be it in the form of potatoes, pasta, noodles, biscuits, bread or rice. Eating 6 hearty meals of this will help you to gain the weight you need faster compared to simply eating3 meals. Lastly, if you need help on how to get the habit to eat 6 times a day or find it difficult to make 6 meals a day, I suggest you look into drinking 500ml of milk in between your meal 3 times a day for the extra meals you need. Increase the amount by 100ml until you see the 1 pound weight gain on the scale. Only then should you focus on getting your sleep and workout right while maintaining the same calorie that helped you to gain 1 pound this week.

Next, sleep is the 2nd step to proper gains. This is usually the deciding factor that separates the committed to the interested. Most people can train hard and eat well but when it comes to making a 8 or more hours slot to get their sleep, that usually does not happen. It is not only about the number of hours of sleep only, but also how sound do you sleep. If possible, try sleeping and waking up all by yourself everyday so that you have absolutely no distractions that jerk you out of your bed. This means that your body will be fully recharged, fully repaired and growing to help you gain the weight and you need.

The last thing that most skinny people get wrong is also workout. Most people who come across friends who asked them for advice if they are looking to gain weight often said that not doing anything will help you to gain the weight you need. It maybe true for people with a slow metabolism rate but it is totally untrue for us. This is because when you cease to be active, your body will break down the muscles in your body as well as the fat in order to lighten its load. The fact is that what you do not use your body destroy. Also, if you are simply focusing on eating and sleep to help you to gain weight, it is highly unlikely because a poor day of diet or sleep will cause your body to break down the excess calories you have been trying so hard to put on, causing you to lose even more weight than you put on. I suggest looking to http://gohforth.com for a workout that will help to be the trigger to help you to gain weight.

  • you need to eat more calories
20x your body weight from calories
1.5 grams of proteins for each pound u weigh

lift weights build some muscle mass
  • Hey, I''m the exact same height and weight.
I''ve been snacking on fudge stripes and oreos.
You''ll regret asking this question 10 years from now.
  • A good source of weight is protein. You could drink protein shakes, eat more meat for meals, or try to gain some muscle weight. Other than that just eat eat eat and eventually you may gain weight.

I went from 240lb to 160lb and then was ripped as hell! You need to skip rope! Seriously! Once you've mastered how to skip it without tripping up which isn't that hard but no ones perfect lol. Everyday 5 to 7 days a week do about 20 mins of rope skipping and remember you only need to jump a tiny bit of the ground! Only a tiny bit not real high so don't worry. And in about 20 mins of skipping rope that's 1 min of rest every 5 mins. You lose 700 calories in total I went from 240lb to 160lb in 2 months :) eat less and load up on vegetables! If u can't skip rope then do the crosstrainer or tredmill and in about 2 months u will see a life changing difference :) but remember! If its not intense and u don't sweat sh1t loads then you won't lose weight! Needs to be intense :) this is all true no BS. I know I've helped, have a nice day bro :)

  • Aww the best thing to do is run and eat mostly fruits and veggies
  • get a personal trainer
  • It's very simple. Start measuring your portions. For instance: 1 cup of Brown RIce Pasta-cooked (or whole grain pasta) is 1 serving size. 1/2 cup of tomato sauce.
1 cup of Whole Grain Cereal topped with strawberries or 1/2 cup of blueberries...is one serving
1 cup of Brown Rice-cooked is a serving size.
Salads, 3 egg, eggwhite omelettes with shredded cheese, or a sandwich on whole grain bread with turkey. lettuce, tomato, and mustard....
Water in place of juice or soda...for dinner 1 piece of protein, 1 cup of whole grain starch or 1/2 sweet potato, and 1 cup of veggies of your choice.
This will help you drop pounds in no time.
  • try to walk everywhere you go
walk to school, to the mall, to friends houses
it will help you lose weight faster
and stop drinking any soda, including diet
no white, no sugar, no flour, no pasta, no bread
    eat protein more
  • Hoe, Step Back! Far back!
Turn on music and dance like wild. Let your hair down once in a while. Go back to the days of wild childhood. Close the door of your room, turn on your sound system to the highest volume possible (but a little lower than the level at which your neighbors start to complain) and then do the wackiest dance that you can think of. Jump on your bed and jump off it again. Roll all over the floor. Pretend that you are Michael Jackson or Madonna (you will never see them keeping still) and do ever boogie move that you know.
  • Pare your portions. Whether you eat at home or in a restaurant, immediately remove one-third of the food on your plate. Arguably the worst food trend of the past few decades has been the explosion in portion sizes on dinner plates (and breakfast and lunch plates). We eat far, far more today than our bodies need. Studies find that if you serve people more food, they’ll eat more food, regardless of their hunger level. The converse is also true: Serve
yourself less and you’ll eat less.
