How to Lose Weight while Pregnant

Recommended Answer:

Paleo, while better than many other dietary options, is just another fad diet....No, you should not remove calcium from your diet, but be aware you can get calcium from foods other than dairy products...see the source link for 10 foods high in calcium (several are vegetables)...Cavemen's average life expectancy was around 30 or so...I realize all kinds of things were responsible for their deaths, but if their diet was that great, a fair number should have lived to be much older than that...I'm jus' sayin'...eating only what cavemen ate, doesn't make a diet a healthy one (although I'm 100% behind clean eating and cutting back or eliminating processed foods as much as possible)...

Other Answers:

  • I wouldn't. Just drink orange juice that has calcium in it. It still correspond to the paleo diet.

Do you typically gain weight while on your period?

I usually gain a lot of weight when I'm on my period, without changing my diet or amount of exercise, but then loose it all when my period is over. Just a few days ago, I went up to 146 lbs, and now that my period is over I weigh 130 lbs again. Is that normal? It happens every time I get my period.

How to Detox Your Body and Lose Weight at The Same Time

Sixteen pounds is quite a bit to fluctuate by. It is normal to gain some water weight around your period and then loose it afterwards. But anything over 5 lbs is something you should mention to your doctor as that may be a sign of a medical or hormonal issue.

Feeling Dizzy And Nauseated?

Hey I was wondering if you guys can tell me or have a little bit of an idea wat is wrong with me. :\ Anyway, After I was done exercising, I went upstairs to take a shower, and for some odd reason I felt dizzy, nauseated, and had a slight headache. It felt like i was sitting in a spinning computer chair continously without stopping, kinda felt like I wanted to puke. I fell asleep that night feeling that way, and over night got a slight bit better. But when I got up for school, the nauseated and dizzy feeling returned and I feel like I wanted to lay on the floor in my room and pray the nauseated feeling would go away. I don''t know what is wrong or what might be happening that is causing this to happen. Additional information (just in case if this has happened to a certain gender or age before), I''m 15 years old, and I''m a female. Plz help! <:( I feel nauseated Thank you guys for posting any comments that may either tell or help me with my problem, I really apreciate it. :) Okay for the first 2 comments that were replied to my question, I go on the treadmill everyday for 60 minutes, and sometimes do a 2nd time a day. I do stretches but sometimes before I start on the treadmill. I eat only foods that are 190, or 200 calories and under mainly. I sometimes every once in a while eat a 300 calorie meal. I drink water, but the when I''m not I''m drinking a 0 calorie diet pepsi or mountain dew. I hope this may help with your solution for me and diagnosis :\ I hope this helps! :)

How to Lose Weight - Don''t Lose Your Sleep and You''ll Lose Your Weight

Recommended Answer:
It could be a number of things. You may have hypotension (low blood pressure) or dehydration. Try drinking more water in a day and see if that doesn''t help any. Also make sure that you''re getting nourished (protein, water) enough before you exercise since that can be too stressing on the body. Maybe try warming up and stretching before exercise and don''t overdo yourself with exercise.

Another problem that comes to mind is maybe an inner ear issue. It almost sounds like you''re having vertigo...a lot of dizziness symptoms do trace problems in the inner ear and balance. You don''t necessarily have to have ear pain or hearing loss to have a problem with it.

It could also be connected to hormonal changes, but what you''re having sounds pretty severe.

My best recommendation is to tell your mom and see what she says. It could be something minor and may just go away soon, but if it really continues to drag out and not get better, you probably should get checked out by the doctor and get some tests done.

RE-EDIT: Okay, from the sounds of it, you aren''t getting enough calories. Calories make energy, and you need energy for your body to workout like that otherwise it just takes its toll. I suggest eating more healthy foods with protein and vitamins and minerals in them (chicken, fish, fruits, veggies, etc...). This won''t make you gain any weight, but it will give your body more nourishment. Maybe before you work out try supplementing with a protein drink and mineral water and see if that helps at all.

  • Could be the exercise, you might not be eating enough too. I went from the age of 16-17 constantly feeling stomachy and sometimes headachey and now I look at pics I realise I had small portions and it ended up affecting my tummy.
How much exercise did you do? if your not used to it then your body could be in this scenario of OYYE LEAVE ME ALONE, I AINT USED TO THIS!!! haha..

always stretch before you do it, if your jogging or sprinting, start with a ten min walk

Is this a healthy diet?

I am currently trying to lose around 4stone (56lb)

I am going to the gym around 4 times per week alternating between cardio and weights.

A typicl day of food is - Two slices of brown toast with a little bit of jam, and a banana.
Some grapes and an apple.

For lunch a small roll with a small packet of crips, or perhaps a pita bread with chicken and salad and more fruit and carrot sticks.

At dinner I tend to have chicken, or turkey with pasta or rice and veg or sausge and mash.

I feel as though i am not losing much weight doing this.

Any tips?

Lose Weight Fast - Don''t Its Unhealthy!

Recommended Answer:
Keep going to the gym and drink both water and green tea as they help to quick burning fats .You should eat 3 hours before sleeping so that your food will be digested and keep away from foods that contain high amounts of both fats and calories before sleeping.

  • Drop the crisps, sausages and mash that''s artery clogging fatty rubbish

    Replace it with

    Snacks
low fat yoghurt with unsalted almonds and walnuts
    Fruit salad

    Dinner
    Steamed rice with vegetables

    Breakfast
Bowl of oats with skim milk and chopped berries on top

Eat more high protein food, eat more dark fruit, they''re super fruits. Like blueberries, straw berries, black berries..

Just make sure you get enough calories of the right foods and daily cardio will burn excess fat. Don''t do it too much or ever day

40 minutes a day is fine, every other day do sterghening exersises like

    3 sets squats 15
    3 sets lunges 10
3 sets use push ups 8
3 sets dips using your chair r bench and sitting on floor 10

Then follow it with 10 min dance, skipping or steps.

So mix it up, cardio one day, strengh exersises the next
eat smaller meals, more often, and nothing close to bed. Fuel before a workout and after.

    Cheers
