Is this a healthy diet?

I am currently trying to lose around 4stone (56lb)

I am going to the gym around 4 times per week alternating between cardio and weights.

A typicl day of food is - Two slices of brown toast with a little bit of jam, and a banana.
Some grapes and an apple.

For lunch a small roll with a small packet of crips, or perhaps a pita bread with chicken and salad and more fruit and carrot sticks.

At dinner I tend to have chicken, or turkey with pasta or rice and veg or sausge and mash.

I feel as though i am not losing much weight doing this.

Any tips?

  • Drop the crisps, sausages and mash that''s artery clogging fatty rubbish

    Replace it with

    Snacks
    low fat yoghurt with unsalted almonds and walnuts
    Fruit salad

    Dinner
    Steamed rice with vegetables

    Breakfast
    Bowl of oats with skim milk and chopped berries on top


    Eat more high protein food, eat more dark fruit, they''re super fruits. Like blueberries, straw berries, black berries..

    Just make sure you get enough calories of the right foods and daily cardio will burn excess fat. Don''t do it too much or ever day

    40 minutes a day is fine, every other day do sterghening exersises like

    3 sets squats 15
    3 sets lunges 10
    3 sets use push ups 8
    3 sets dips using your chair r bench and sitting on floor 10

    Then follow it with 10 min dance, skipping or steps.


    So mix it up, cardio one day, strengh exersises the next
    eat smaller meals, more often, and nothing close to bed. Fuel before a workout and after.
