I''ve been trying to lose belly fat by eating healthy and exercising. But besides my belly fat, I think my stomach might often be bloated, but I can''t tell. okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows:

Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)
eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a slow cooker /food steamer & rice/pasta cooker to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink mainly water (green tea , juice & milk being the other options you drink). If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken.

also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.

Breakfast: Kashi "Go Lean" cereal, 1 cup of greek yogurt, piece of fruit and orange juice.
Lunch: Turkey and cheese on whole wheat bread, possibly with a cup of brown rice (sometimes)

Now, my best friend and I have recently started doing a daily walk, were going to try to shoot about 4 miles a day which is around her neighborhood and then i''ll do a 30 minute Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred dvd at home in my living room (totally feel the burn)

If you are going to eat a lot of what you wrote, ok. Because it sounds like there is not enough of starchy food and meat. We are omnivores. If there is enough and I didn''t read carefully, ok. Just a reminder.

Do not forget - drink water and only water or herbal tea or homemade juice(although i think it''s a waste of fruit!). You forgot to include nuts in your diet and also dry fruit!

P.S: If you only exercise and build muscles, your body could get a little stiff, you should stretch as much time as you exercise! Your muscles will be longer and slimmer when you do! :)

I need to lose 40+ Lbs with in 3 1/2 months to join the Navy. How can I do this?

I''ve finally decided to go into the military, and join the Navy.

I''m 20, 253lbs, 5''11", male

I spoke to a recruiter a few days ago and he informed me the weight limit they were looking for was around 196lbs, but he informed be they would allow 215 since for my body type it would be appropriate, or in the very least just good enough.

My semester of classes end on June 6th. Id like to be at weight not too long after im done with classes so i can go right into the military. Whats a quick SAFE way to do this? As long as its safe i dont mind kicking my butt on strict diets and work outs.

Hi I just turned 14 and wanted to lose some weight I''m 5'' 7" 120 lbs I''m not fat but I have a little fat on my stomach, legs, arms, etc. I work out about 3-4 days a week. I run a mile or two i lift 15 lb weights almost every day. I just want a quick way to get fit/build some muscle. What are some excercisizes I can do to build muscle and lose fat.

Yesterday I ate 3100 calories from a binge. I need to practice planning my cheat days because I easily lose control but I was wondering if a low calorie day (today I had 1250), helps with the day after a binge. I usually eat 1200, by the way.

Well what I usually do is go straight back onto the amount i eat a day (1800 for me as a guy). Spreading it out seems to help loads too.
Be careful though if you're only eating 1200, your body may think it's starving and lower your metabolic rate massively so if you're trying to lose weight or become healthy i'd suggest at least a 200 calorie increase.
And try not to go for cheat days too often, remember it's all psychological and if you've lowered your calories for every day and then eat loads of excess calories on another, you've set yourself back 1, 2 or three days worth of hard training.
