Anyone think this is a good way to help tone my body and lose weight?

I''m not fat, but I do have some thick areas that I really need to work on. Hope to get the fittest i''ve ever been lol.

For eating:

Breakfast: Kashi "Go Lean" cereal, 1 cup of greek yogurt, piece of fruit and orange juice.
Lunch: Turkey and cheese on whole wheat bread, possibly with a cup of brown rice (sometimes)
Dinner: (mom''s homemade meals, i can''t not eat that lol)

Snacks: Celery, carrots, peppers, Hummus with reduced fat triscuits, a really healthy brand of sweet potato chips that I found that were reccomended on foods to eat that are low in sodium = :)

Now, my best friend and I have recently started doing a daily walk, were going to try to shoot about 4 miles a day which is around her neighborhood and then i''ll do a 30 minute Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred dvd at home in my living room (totally feel the burn)

Do you think this is good and will help me tone up?

If you are going to eat a lot of what you wrote, ok. Because it sounds like there is not enough of starchy food and meat. We are omnivores. If there is enough and I didn''t read carefully, ok. Just a reminder.
And if you''re going to eat similar to what you wrote your whole life, ok.

Do not forget - drink water and only water or herbal tea or homemade juice(although i think it''s a waste of fruit!). You forgot to include nuts in your diet and also dry fruit!

You will tone up in a few months time :)
P.S: If you only exercise and build muscles, your body could get a little stiff, you should stretch as much time as you exercise! Your muscles will be longer and slimmer when you do! :)

  • Your plan sounds good, but I think it would be a good idea to take a day off of exercise once a week.
