How to Lose Weight in the Face in a Week

Recommended Answer:

Losing weight IS difficult, no one starts losing weight right away just because they say so, and when they finally do, only some can actually do it while some don't even know what to do and give up right away. If you really want to change that bad, you'll have to exercise, you'll have to cut down on calories, and you'll have to eat healthier. No excuses. You can still lose weight during school, the gym classes and walking might even help you. If you eat a lot of junk everyday, stop. You need to cut down on calories if you eat a lot. To help you lose weight, you can start slowly like walking 30 minutes everyday after school whenever and say you eat like 2,000 calories a day then cut down to 1,700 calories a day. I suggest keeping track of your calories because it helps keep you organized, but you don't have to. Eat a lot of fruits of vegetables everyday. Eat a big breakfast. As you go, if you feel like it, get a gym membership (it's totally normal, teens go to gyms regularly) and go there maybe 3 times a week or so and run on the treadmill, or do elliptical and you don't need a trainer. I would expect those for extreme measures, you can do this alone. Prove those kids wrong. Good luck!

  • Just start off slow and ease your way in..
  • Try a low carb diet. Losing weight is mainly what you eat, about 80%. The weight will come off with this diet.

What to buy my boyfriend for his birthday?

My boyfriends birthday is coming up in early September and he's hard to shop for. He likes electronics, but those are pricey and not in my budget. I'm trying to stay in the 5o dollars or less range. He could use new shirts, but hes a 6x (no rude comments please), and I'm not willing to pay 30 dollars a shirt because that's ridiculous. Especially since he's having weight loss surgery soon and it would be a waste. I really don't know what to get him. To describe his personality, he's pretty much an overgrown child. If it helps he's turning 24 and we've been together for 4 and a half years.

Maybe buy him a CD or a blue ray or something. That isn't too expensive. You can buy some blue rays for under $10. My birthday is next Wednesday and I'm 27, and pretty much all I want are a few DVDs or CDs. Once you get to be that age, you can buy everything yourself so there isn't many things that I need to be honest.

I want to lose weight in my first year at college? Help?

I know it's too late to lose the weight BEFORE college which would have been ideal but...Okay, I've gained weight because I'm a notorious binge-restrict dieter. My question is- do you think it's feasible that I could lose weight in my very first year of college? I'm a calorie counter, and I'm worried it'll be too hard to count calories in a cafeteria setting. I also want to start running again like I used to. Of course I care about my grades and I would not want to sacrifice them. So... any advice or ideas?Forgot to mention, I'm roughly 140 lbs now ..... :O120 is the weight I like to stay around

How to Eat Chocolate to Lose Weight

You'll be walking quite a lot on campus, getting to and from the dorm and your various classes. That will help a lot. Not only will it use up a few extra calories, but more importantly it will help regulate your appetite. Decide ahead of time what constitutes a decent breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Different people have different ideas about what should be their big, medium, and small meals of the day. Myself, I like the saying, "Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a merchant, and dinner like a pauper." If you start your day with toast, juice, coffee, and an egg, the slow-burning protein will last you until lunch time."What'll I do if I eat a small meal in the cafeteria and get hungry before the next one?"Well, you can stash away some healthy snacks, but there aren't that many that keep well and are still good for you. It might be better for you to accept the feeling of being a little bit hungry, since you do know where your next meal is coming from.If you keep fruit like apples around, don't just pick one up and gnaw into it. Cut it into nice wedges, peel them, and eat them mindfully. (You'll need a paring knife from home.)Don't try to live on a thousand calories a day. You can't keep that up for long. Instead, get hold of one of those programs that help you track everything you eat, figure out how many calories you'd need to maintain your current weight, and then subtract 100 calories a day. By calorie count alone, that would let you lose a pound a week. Of course you'll hit plateaus, but that's just your metabolism readjusting. Keep on keeping on.The advantage of this gradual system is that you can be a stealth dieter. As near as everyone else can tell, you're eating normally, although you never pig out. I don't know why, but when people around you realize you're dieting, they chime in with suggestions, some of which can actually sabotage your efforts.Losing even the first five pounds makes you feel lighter on your feet, and more flexible in your movements. Pound by pound, as your skin gradually shrinks, you'll feel better and better. Soon the results will begin to show. Twelve to fifteen pounds is about one dress size down.It will feel strange at first, eating regular meals and neither "dieting" nor "bingeing". For some reason, when you have to pay attention to everything you eat, it may be harder to resist snacking, because you're actually thinking about your food, not just mindlessly shoveling it in. But you'll get accustomed to the feeling of satisfaction rather than the feeling of "I'm stuffed!" If the cafeteria portions of certain foods are bigger than you like, it's okay to leave some on the plate. There's another saying I can leave you with: "The first bite and the last bite are the ones that taste the best. You can do without some of the ones in the middle."

  • Go to the gym
  • When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

I need some help with a diet plan.?

I''m not fat, but there''s some belly fat that I would enjoy losing... Anyway, are there any good, healthy diet plans you guys are doing? I already have exercise down, since I play soccer every day after school, but when it comes to eating I just don''t know.. I''m a typically healthy eater but I''m sure there are some things I could change. What should I stay away from or eat more of? Help please. (:

Losing weight is about 80% what you eat and 20% exercise, so focus on what you''re eating. Change your lifestyle, don''t go on a diet. Eat less junk/fast/fried foods and focus on eating a variety of healthy foods including fruits and vegetables, but also lean proteins (chicken, turkey, fish, lean beef, plain greek yogurt), healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts, hummus), brown rice, oatmeal, milk, low fat cheese, whole wheat bread, etc.

To find some healthy recipes, Google ''Emily Bites'' and ''Skinny Taste.'' These are websites I use all the time to cook and they are healthy and delicious. Good luck!

Motivation - how fast do you think I will lose weight?

I am doing the work out insanity and on top of that jogging. My goal is only to lose 15 - 20 lbs of fat, ultimately before my next school year, but if I can by June. I am running to get better for a race I signed up for in June. Do you think this motivation will get me to my desired shape/fitness level by June 20? I am 155 lbs, female.

Lose Weight the Right Way and Keep it Off

Recommended Answer:
It will require a lot of work but to lose 20 pounds if you do the workout everyday it will probably take 3-4 months. Now when I say 3-4 months that is including a proper diet. If you are still eating ice cream and candy then it will take over 1 year so its useless. Stay away from white bread, popcorn, butter. Also dont go too healthy because that isn''t always good. Hope that helped :)

  • Yes that looks very doable. I recommend taking a fat burner on non cardio days to control appetite

But you should take a non-stimulant every day. I recommend ursolic acid.

  • I understand you I''m 5''1" and 146.5lbs and didn''t even know I was fat until yesterday when my mom yelled at me in public. On top of that I wasn''t sure if she was just over reacting so I posted this along with my mesurments bust:42 waist:43 and hips:56 (all inches) and a bunch of boys teased me for my size so I''m with you. Use me as motivation. It seems you aren''t as fat as me but if you don''t try hard to change you could end up being called a "chubby heavyset girl" by your mother in public. So I''m with you sister.

Am I anorexic? This is a serious question?

Hi, we''ll I''m really concerned about this question, and I''m wondering if I might be anorexic?
Back when I was a kid, I was chubby, but didnt really notice or care. It was until freshman year in high school when I started to notice that guys my age were a lot skinnier. So I decided to go on a diet, and I restricted my caloric intake to 1200 per day. I started to loose weight slowly. But I felt it wasn''t fast enough and so I started eating 1,000 calories per day. I progressed for the worse. I started walking a little over two hours everyday to burn calories, and started skipping meals. I was eating 800 calories a day now.I was horrified to eat food. I was aware of all the calories in every food. Everyone was flooding me with compliments, and I finally reached my goal weight within two months. I went from 155 lbs to 120 lbs. But this wasn''t skinny enough for me now.
Summer break came, and I decided to get a "fit" body before school started again. I constantly starved myself, but would constantly binge out of hunger and felt horrible when I did. I felt fat. Everyone told me I wasn''t. Arguments with my mother about food became common. I didnt care.
School started Annd I was still 120lbs. Everyone was amazed at how I lost so much weight over the summer as well, and how tall I had gotten it. I had gotten taller, but stayed at the same weight. I was happy of the compliments, but felt fat.
Now, a year after I initially lost weight, I feel obese. I have started cutting meals again. I look at all the skinny people and feel fat. I''ve started to work out now, and went on an extreme diet. My friends have show concern about my eating habits, but I don''t care. I just want to be skinny. I am on a 1,000 calorie diet, at least 30 minutes of exercise per day, and have successfully lost 4lbs in a little over a week and a half. My goal weight is 105lbs, and I am 5''6. I feel fat, I don''t know what to do,.I want to be skinny. I feel fat.But BMI''s say I''m healthy weight. Am I anorexic?

Why You Must Exercise to Lose Weight

Recommended Answer:
Not exactly but you shouldnt be starving yourself if you didnt know this but when you skip meals or start starving yourself you Gain More Weight because your body is starving and needs food. And plus you shouldnt care about what other people look like and dont compare yourself to other people BE Happy with yourself :) Right now im losing weight but im just watching my calories like you too but dont skip any meals and defintiely dont Starve yourself!! Anorexia can make you very very sick. And the problem seems to be mostly that you have a low self esteem and its hard espically when your in high school becasue you see guys or girls and wanna look good to but thats why you should just take one day at a time :) Hope this helped and i hope you get better :)

  • You might be, ask a doctor.
  • it seems like you have a problem. http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ you are very underweight you need to gain about 30 pounds. if you feel sick its probably because your underweight. you need therapy for your self esteem or it will take you to very bad places
  • I dont think you are anorexic but i think you may have a different type of ed. You should talk to someone like a trusted adult, guidance coucilor or dr. what you are doing is not healthy, and its slowing your metaolism down. you may be losing weight now, but you will start gaining since you messed up your metabolism. 1000 calories isnt cutting back too much because i only eat 400 calories a day, but still you need to talk to someone.

Can anyone chart out a workout plan for me?

I''m 18. Im kinda thin, with a low BMI. I''m planning to use the summer hols to gain muscle.

Could you guys chart out a day-wise workout plan for me that i can follow this month? I''ve referenced several sites but all of them suggest different things. So i came here.
Also, I dont have access to weights, so please suggest exercises like pushups, situps, crunches and so on.
I would appreciate it if the answerer actually achieved something with that workout plan. Thanks!

Tips To Lose Weight Fast

Recommended Answer:
If you are looking to gain weight, the key is not doing calisthenic workout like the ones you found out about. I agree with mr wonderful that you need to take serious steps to help you to gain weight and doing those is purely poor in the part of those authors as they are looking to give people something that everyone can follow and take ages to gain results. If you are looking for significant result during the summer, I suggest you look to eat a high calorie diet, sleep well and do the right workout to help you gain the weight you need.

Diet is the fundamental key and usually the first thing most people who are skinny will stumble upon first. However, the usual habit of eating a lot in one sitting bares no reason. This is because in a skinny person''s body like yours, it is highly likely that the body will feel overwhelmed by the sudden influx of so many nutrients and your digestive system will simply push the excess down the line into excrement. The key is to use carbohydrates is because the body will not do that to this particular energy source. Also, it provides the body with energy that will last 3-4 hours and thus require less loading time compared to other energy sources. Also, eating things like potatoes, pasta, noodles, biscuits, bread and rice 6 times a day with an interval of 2-3 hours in between will ensure that at no time in the day your body is deprived from an energy source, thus allowing you to gain and maintain the weight you have. If preparing 6 meals a day is daunting, perhaps you can try drinking 500ml of milk in between your meal for a total of 3 times a day. Increase the amount of milk you drink by 100ml every week until you see a 1 pound weight gain on the scale. This is the magic number of calories you need in order to gain weight so make sure you maintain this diet.

The next thing to look into is also a lifestyle habit and it is sleeping. So many people neglect sleep and that is what separates the successful gainers from the not successful one. The key is not only to sleep enough but to also sleep well. This means no interruptions or waking up in the middle of the night. If you can achieve your usual regime of sleeping and waking up yourself every single day, you are definitely acing this factor very well. If time does not permit, simply do this on weekends and ensure that your weekdays are still filled with long rest at night.

The last thing most skinny people will never think about is exercising to gain weight. The misconception is that exercising will cause me to lose weight so why should I do it? This is because if you simply rely on a regime of sleep and diet, you will gain fat which will be lost when your calorie intake is lower or your sleeping pattern is compromise. This will lower your weight faster than you can say wait a minute. Also, there are too many workouts on the internet and books that promise gains but none actually works like http://gohforth.com. That is a workout dedicated to help skinny people to gain weight and I personally vouch for that.

  • You aren''t going to effectively gain muscle with just bodyweight exercises. For now you should just do a routine hitting each major muscle group (pullups for back, pushups chest, squats legs etc.). Make the exercise harder each week (leverage pushups, widegrip pullups, pistol squats etc.)

Get access to a gym asap if you want to make noticeable gains.
