That is a great way to shed pounds. I would also say to try to eat healthy and mainly just stay away from junk food and soda. I drink gatorade as an alternative to soda just incase that is something that will be hard for you to do. And as for how long it will take it just depends how hard you work. The harder you work the more results you will see. Push yourself past your mental limits and to your physical limits. When i was getting back into shape i would run until i literally fell over. I wouldn't stop when my mind told me to stop, I just keep going.
