I've done so many squats and other glute exercises but see no results! What could I be doing wrong?

Seriously it's like none of my workouts have paid off. I've even been eating a healthier diet along with it and yet, no muscle tone where I want it, or really anywhere that I've been working out, for quite a while now. And I'm already very thin so I should be able to see muscle more easily. Tips, advice?
