How much gram of protein should i be consuming in order to gain muscle?

I searched the net and they say eat 1 to 1.5 times your body weight.So if you are 150 pounds you have to eat 1-1.5 times that amount of protein which is 150-225g of protein..But on different websites it says the same thing but instead of 1-1.5 times of your weight in pounds they say in kgs which is if you are 60 kg you have to eat 1-1.5 times of 60 which is 60g of protein to 90 gram!Which makes a huge difference in the two.I am confused can anyone help?Which weight measure should i take?Thanks in advance.ah...spammers.... ;0@chris, is that enough to build new muscles..?i guess no it only help to sustain the current muscles,but thanks :)
