How much gram of protein should i be consuming in order to gain muscle?

I searched the net and they say eat 1 to 1.5 times your body weight.So if you are 150 pounds you have to eat 1-1.5 times that amount of protein which is 150-225g of protein..But on different websites it says the same thing but instead of 1-1.5 times of your weight in pounds they say in kgs which is if you are 60 kg you have to eat 1-1.5 times of 60 which is 60g of protein to 90 gram!Which makes a huge difference in the two.I am confused can anyone help?Which weight measure should i take?Thanks in advance.ah...spammers.... ;0@chris, is that enough to build new muscles..?i guess no it only help to sustain the current muscles,but thanks :)

Ugh. When I look down at myself, I just feel angry. But processed foods and fast food is just more convienent. Like microwaveable meals, you don't have to prepare them. You just microwae them. I'll be going into middle school in a few weeks, and I just feel worthless. Like all I'm doing is taking space. More space than needed. I really love being active, but the bike I borrowed my aunt lent me, and she needed it back so she could be more active. I just.... Need help. And need tips on how to lose weight. And excersize. :) thanks!!I'm 120lb, and I should be about 90lb.

Im going into 8th grade and about 120 pounds and im eating healthier now too. Eating fruit is easier than microwaving food! Salad tastes great especially with thousand island dressing. To be active just go outside and walk or run! find a friend or sibling to do it with! if you drink atleast 8 glasses of water a day, you will lose some weight. When you don't drink enough water, your body stores it. When you drink a lot, your body doesn't have to store it because it expects to be hydrated!

  • I can't believe you're going into middle school and you're worried about your body. You haven't even hit puberty yet child, show down. Ugh, things like this make me so mad. I didn't give a sh*t about my body until I hit age 14, which is normal for the most part. Let your body grow and develop first before you try to lose weight. But if you want to watch your weight then stop eating processed foods.
  • Diet is everything! "Abs are made in the kitchen" learn how to eat clean and try to only have one cheat meal a week :)
