I've been eating really good for two and a half weeks (I usually eat pretty well without trying... Like between 1300-1700 calories) now I've been eating even less calories and working out like running, biking, the elliptical and I walk the track for about half an hour with 5 pound weights in each hand doing reps the whole time. On average I probably workout an hour to an hour and a half each night. The problem is I've actually gained a pound and usually when I decide to lose some weight I just restrict calories and don't work out and I lose weight pretty easily. So I know they say muscle weighs more than fat but if I am gaining muscle weight am I losing fat weight and technically getting thinner by appearance? Will I eventually lose weight on the scale if I keep up the same routine? Thanks.

- Haha you didn't gain a pound of muscle with running, using 5 pound dumbbells, and eating super low calories. Doesn't happen like that. You probably just gained a pound. And you're barely getting over a 1000 calories... Thats almost like starving yourself everyday. Eat some food. Because men dont like girls that are skin and bone.
