When I started losing weight seven months ago, I would always notice I would lose weight than stop at some points and than continue losing more. So all it means is that you have to continue your diet or maybe change it so you eat less calories everyday. Since you have lost weight maybe your diet must change.. I hope this helped :)Other Answers:
- Hovig is pretty right. Its not always a consistent loss even when you keep doing the same things. The gut is also one of the hardest to lose fat from. There are websites that have techniques that are said to help burn belly fat fast. These aren't a bad idea to get a look at, though don't expect to burn as fast as they say, I find its kinda rare. I also wouldn't use insanity right away. It's a great way to improve your health when you're in shape, but it can actually damage your body when you start it when you're not ready. This could be part of your problem. Eating right is also important. But make sure you are getting well balanced diet, not just cutting the calories. From my own research and what I've found personally, jogging is best done before a work out. Cardio is great for your heart, but not the most efficient for losing weight, you want to actually lift for that. For efficiency running or biking before a workout will raise your heart rate to a good level so that when you lift you will burn the most fat. http://www.lose12inches.com/ This is a program, I won't vouch for, but has intrigued me the most, and from what I've read, it seems to understand the science behind weight loss better than most. But no matter what approach, it will be difficult, so just don't give up, you'll get there. And good luck.
- You're gaining muscle. Who's to say you're not? The muscle is developing under your existing fat so you don't see it. You say you eat right but believe it or not, a lot of American's do that "right" part wrong. Can't tell you since you don't share what you eat.
