Your body needs fuel to survive. That fuel is food and drink. It's value is measured in calories which are units of energy. If you burn more energy daily than you take in, you must burn from your body and that means converting fat or lean tissues to energy which has to cause a weight loss.To burn fat you must take in less energy (calories) than you burn. That way, some of your daily energy has to come from inside your body and that's when the fat gets burned. When you've burned up the calories in your GI tract, your body will turn to itself for fuel. It has to because it has no other place to get energy. Eventually, it will turn fat into energy to keep you going. However, if you try to lose too fast, you risk not providing sufficient nutrition to maintain optimal health and fitness. So, never try to lose more than about 2 pounds per week and one pound a week is better. If you burn one pound per week it will be easier to stay on your diet and easier to stay at your maintenance level when you go off your diet.• How much energy you take in depends on what you eat and drink during the 24 hour period.• How much energy you burn depends on your BMR and your activity level. • Your BMR or Basal Metabolic Rate is the energy required just to sustain your life during the 24 hour period with no activity (as if you were asleep or in a coma).• Your total daily caloric burn is the sum or total of the following three categories of energy expenditure. 1. BMR2. Your normal daily activities3. Your extraordinary activities. Here's how to calculate them.BMR (how much you would burn if you slept all day & night or were in a coma)1. Go here--> http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php and click on the "BMR & RMR Calculator" link.2. Enter your info in all four fields and click the calculate buttonYour BMR is shown in red.NORMAL DAILY ACTIVITY LEVEL (chores, daily activities)3. In the chart below BMR, select the appropriate row for your activity level (from Sedentary to Extremely Active)4. Read your caloric expenditure in red in the selected row and RMR or BMR column.Your BMR plus your approximate daily activity burn is shown in red.EXTRAORDINARY ACTIVITIES (occasional sports, weekend activities, workouts, etc)5. Return to the "home" page or go here (again) --> http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php and click on the "Activity Calculator" link in the body of the text. 6. Enter the required data in the fields (weight, time, speed, or distance)7. Find your activity using the alphabetic listing or the search box.8. Click on the activity you choose9. Click the Calculate button.Your total caloric expenditure for the activity is shown in red. Note, that each time you click on an activity or the calculate button, the total will increase by the amount of the activity you have selected. This allows you to maintain a running total for several activities. You can add this total to your total from 4. above for the grand total for the day. Be careful to not click more than you intend to or your total will be erroneously increased. You can use the "Clear" button to set your total to zero.• To know how much energy you take in, track your intake here ---> http://www.myfitnesspal.com/EXAMPLEIf you take in 500 calories per day less than you burn, that creates a 500 calorie deficit or deficiency and you will burn 500 calories of fat. And, if you do that every day for a week, you will burn 7 x 500 = 3500 calories or one pound of fat in a week.EAT YOUR BMRYou should not consume less than your BMR to ensure proper nutrition and the more active you are, the more calories you will burn. And, if you consume your BMR in calories each day you will know that all of your activity will result in burning fat. So, you don't need to wonder if your burning fat or not, you don't need to constantly be weighing, and you can take comfort in the fact that you're burning fat even when the scale says you're gaining (from water & waste retention). If you need more information, use the links below. Anadequate portion of a meal is 3 ounces of protein (like chicken, tuna orlean ground beef) which is about the size of your palm. Don't eat untilyou are full. Eat until you're not hungry. Same goes for salad dressing; On a large salad, limit it to just enough for taste. You will be surprisedhow much less dressing you need to get the same flavor. This is what we call the “Classic Calorie Equation.” Your daily exerciseroutine will increase the amount of calories you burn each day. If youalso make sure that you eat fewer calories than you burn, “poof!”—you burn excess stored fat. It's a simple, scientifically proven fact thatnever fails. And here's how to do it:Calories In:First, regulate how many caloriesyou consume. We recommend that if“trimming fat” is your goal, a 1,200 –1,500 calorie per day diet will do thetrick, but that's as low as you want togo before your body “resets” yourmetabolism. If you aren't as concernedwith quickly trimming fat asyou are about increasing muscle,2,000 calories is a good number. Both levels will start to steeryour choices away from largeportions and fatty/processedfoods toward healthier, reasonable choices.(That's a general guideline for themillions of people who will read this. For more specific detail as to your personalcaloric needs, we suggest you calla registered dietician or diet center.)Calories out:Second, approximate how many calories your body uses each dayusing the following grid, which is calculated based on your bodyweight, your lifestyle, and the conservative assumption that you willburn at least 300 calories in every rigorous 30 minute workout.(FYI - we estimate that you can burn as many as 800-1000 calories when you'rereally pushing it hard in programs like Power 90™, Slim in 6™, and Power Half Hour.™)LET'S BEGIN...

How to Manage to Lose Weight

Eat small, frequent meals. Extending the time between meals makes your body go into "starvation mode," which decreases your metabolism as a means to conserve energy and prevent starvation. While some people are able to lose weight through intermittent fasting, most people generally eat less overall when they eat small, frequent meals. In addition to having four to six small meals per day[6] eating healthy snacks will also increase metabolism.[2] Different activities burn different quantities of calories, but the important thing is to raise your heart rate and sustain the activity for approximately thirty minutes.Boost metabolism in the long run with weight training. Muscle burns more calories than fat does (73 more calories per kilogram per day, to be exact)[2] so the more muscle you build, the higher your resting metabolic rate (RMR) will be. Every muscle cell that you gain is like a little factory that constantly burns calories for you, even while you sleep, and revs up when you exercise. This is the only way to increase RMR, which accounts for 60 to 70 percent of the calories you burn daily.[7]From a recent conservative estimate [8] one can extrapolate that in one year a person with 2.2 kg more muscle will burn calories corresponding to 1 kg of fat due to this muscle mass. Young healthy men typically have 35 to 50 kg of muscle mass [9] so the most muscular men in the range burn extra calories relative to the least muscular corresponding to 6.8 kg (15 pounds) of fat per year.Recalcuate your RMR as needed. Your metabolism will slow down as you lose weight. The more weight your body is carrying, the more calories your body has to burn in order to sustain itself, even at rest. When you begin restricting your calorie intake, you'll lose weight relatively easily because your body's high caloric needs are not being met. But after you begin to shed the weight, the body has less mass to carry and thus needs fewer calories. In order to continue losing weight, you will have to restrict your caloric intake even further in order to maintain a difference between what your body needs and what you are providing.[2] Let's go through a hypothetical example:You are 200 lbs and your body needs 2500 calories a day to sustain itself. You cut down your caloric intake to 2000 calories. You lose 25 lbs. Now your body only needs 2250 calories to sustain itself because it's carrying less weight. If you continue with your 2000 calorie per day diet (the diet that helped you lose the first 25 lbs) you will still be losing, but at half the speed. In order to maintain a steady weight loss you will need to reduce your caloric intake further. However, it is at the utmost importance you do not try to consume fewer calories than your RMR!Another possible problem: If you continue with your 2000 calorie per day diet (the diet that helped you lose the first 25 lbs) you may actually gain weight back because of varying levels of exercise. Let's say you lose 50 lbs. on your 2000 calorie diet. Your sustaining calories might be 1800. You're actually consuming enough calories to gain weight, but how would that happen if you had stayed on your diet? This can happen when your exercise has burned through many calories. If you slowed on exercise at this point you would actually gain weight again. The point here is to recheck your RMR when you lose weight and compare it to your consumption.

OK i mean no offense but how over weight are you? Anyway really over weight people well often have big boobs because boobs are one of the areas that gather fat you know like the belly or thighs anyway my point is if you are really over weight if you keep losing weight you should start seeing them become smaller and lighter if you are now a good weight you will need a good bra for support....But i'm a guy and i don't know what bras are good sorry maybe look online? :(

Other Answers:

  • You don't.
  • They will get smaller as you continue to lose weight.
  • O_o
  • Take hammer...and do it;-)
  • As you lose weight your breasts will become smaller. But if they're large compared to your current size they'll probably be large compared to your future size. Once you're fully grown you might want to consider a breast reduction surgery.
  • Lose weight and they will get smaller
  • Ok, what I tell girls is to check out the minimizer bras. They aren't cheap but they make you look nice and a little smaller. I am loosing weight also and so far, my boobs are still the same. Oh I use Just My Size catalog OR www.jms.com. You order your regular size, it just makes you LOOK smaller. Take care.
  • eat right.. no more processed foods and if the breasts become a problem.. have them reduced.i mean considering what you're telling us.. i do think you'd qualify.

How to Lose Stomach Weight

When I started losing weight seven months ago, I would always notice I would lose weight than stop at some points and than continue losing more. So all it means is that you have to continue your diet or maybe change it so you eat less calories everyday. Since you have lost weight maybe your diet must change.. I hope this helped :)

  • Hovig is pretty right. Its not always a consistent loss even when you keep doing the same things. The gut is also one of the hardest to lose fat from. There are websites that have techniques that are said to help burn belly fat fast. These aren't a bad idea to get a look at, though don't expect to burn as fast as they say, I find its kinda rare. I also wouldn't use insanity right away. It's a great way to improve your health when you're in shape, but it can actually damage your body when you start it when you're not ready. This could be part of your problem. Eating right is also important. But make sure you are getting well balanced diet, not just cutting the calories. From my own research and what I've found personally, jogging is best done before a work out. Cardio is great for your heart, but not the most efficient for losing weight, you want to actually lift for that. For efficiency running or biking before a workout will raise your heart rate to a good level so that when you lift you will burn the most fat. http://www.lose12inches.com/ This is a program, I won't vouch for, but has intrigued me the most, and from what I've read, it seems to understand the science behind weight loss better than most. But no matter what approach, it will be difficult, so just don't give up, you'll get there. And good luck.
  • You're gaining muscle. Who's to say you're not? The muscle is developing under your existing fat so you don't see it. You say you eat right but believe it or not, a lot of American's do that "right" part wrong. Can't tell you since you don't share what you eat.
