How to become skinny but not bulky-muscular from exercising?

Hi! I'm female, five-foot-five, and 123 lbs. I want to lose weight (I have a little bit of fat here and there), and I know proper dieting/working out will do the job. What are some exercises I could do (Pilates, running, biking, etc.) that would kill off fat but not make me really muscular? My sister runs, and although she has nice, toned legs, she's not a twig. Plus, dieting tips? Thanks! :) Means the world. —Slade P.S. I would like to be as skinny as Astrid Berges-Frisbey, although I think she's naturally smaller than me.

How to Lose Weight Fast and Keep it Off

Recommended Answer:

Endurance type workouts will help develop slender muscles. Running, Biking, Swimming, etc are endurance type exercises so are weight exercises that use low weights for high reps (15-20)

Other Answers:

  • weight lifting builds muscle, body weight exercises burn fat but keep you lean body weight exercises include pull ups push ups crunches walking( won't build muscle but burns fat) lunges... think of stuff that is resistance not weights :) and eat breakfast and don't completely cut out fat and sugars because when you do eat them you will gain just as much as someone that eats them every day hope I helped, M
