How much calories should a dieter be eating everyday?

Hi, I 'm trying to loose weight before school starts and I just need to know how much calories I should be consuming everyday. Today I was only able to consume about 610 calories cause I had a super unhealthy breakfast(organic oatmeal with no salt or sugar.... and two klondike ice cream squares:( Please tell me on how I could be eating a healthy breakfast-thank you

  • It really depends on how heavy you are starting off. I'm a 5'10" male that weighs 140 pounds. I have been able to lose over 20 pounds in the last month and a half by sticking to 1500 calories a day and exercising. Lift weights and run, it dosnt matter what the calories are made of, just as long as you are under your budget. I'm not an expert but I have done enough research to know a thing or two. Good luck losing the weight! Ps... Never eat ice cream.... Ever... Throw it away.... For breakfast try eggs and a lean sausage... Im building muscle so I just eat pork for every meal every day...
  • its not hard!!!! dont eat the ice cream! lol plus you need to MEASURE out how much oatmeal your eating, you dont have a bowl full. look on the box what serving size is. you cant eat about 800-1000 a day, more if your active enough to burn it off.
