How to Lose Weight With Shift Work
Recommended Answer:
The calories remain the same, but there is a huge difference in sugar, fat, carbs and protein, which ultimately lead to weight gain or loss.Other Answers:
- Calories are calories. However NUTRITION between the two is tremendously different. The 'feeling full' factor also comes into play, sugars let you crash way too soon.
- From a nutrition standpoint no, leaner healthier foods will fill you up better and edge a bit more weight loss... however calorie maintenance is calorie maintenance, so yes you can loose the weight. Here is a little insight: http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/11/08/twinkie.diet.professor/index.html
- Technically, all calories are is energy. So 800 calories is = 800 calories no matter where it came from. But from a weight lost standpoint , you shouldn't be eating cookies. Cookies are made of unnatural fats so its harder for the body to absorb completely, resulting in fat(the kind that's on your appearance) . Chicken is natural, so it's made of natural components. The body can easily process that. The body will use the chickens energy much faster than the energy of cookies. I hope that answered your question!
- NO, not all calories are alike, I have lost 50 pounds, I am seeing a nutritionist for help. I keep a food diary, writing down everything I eat, every meal, every snack, every day. She have been food coaching me, giving me advice, she wants me to eat less carbs (breads & cookies) and more proteins (chick & lean meats). I have already added. She only wants me to have pizza 1 or 2 meals a week. You also want to limit your calories from fats. Once or twice a week you could maybe have a lighter breakfast and lunch, then have the same calories worth of cookies as a snack that day.
- Calories are NOT all just Calories, you can get calories from different things, a couple hundred calories from carbs and protein, is NOT the same as the same couple hundred calories from sugar or fat. The person that said there all the same is a moron. People make WAY too much work out of diet, eat healthy exercise and you'll be fine minus and underlying medical issues. 99.99% of people already know what's healthy and whats not.
