9 Essential Tips To Lose Weight Fast

Recommended Answer:
Height: 5ft. 6in
First baby: Pre-preg. 122lbs, gained about 29 lbs, took me 2 months to lose the weight...
Second baby: Pre-preg. 122, gained about 72 lbs, took me 3 months to get to 129 and that''s about where I''ve stayed for the past year and a half

Breastfeeding really helped with losing the weight, as did eating really healthy and getting the right amount of calories. If you''re having a baby and worried about it, or had your baby and worrying about it, don''t be! Take your time and do it the healthy way that way you feel good and are healthy for your baby. The body during pregnancy goes through a lot, and stretches great lengths sometimes, so give yourself a break and don''t step on a scale. Base your progress on getting back into those cute pair of jeans!

  • 0 pounds. My child appeared in my hands.
  • about 25 pounds with the first baby. About 30 pounds with the second baby. I''m 5''8" and my weight before pregnancy was about 130 lbs. It probably took a couple of months to be roughly the same, but most women don''t lose all the weight until they stop nursing.
  • I was about 5''6 and 245 pounds when I got pregnant. (I know *sigh*)
Down to 204 pounds from 2 months - 5 months.
Up to 224 when I went to the hospital for her to be born.
Back down to 201 at our first checkup.

The day I found out I was pregnant, I was no longer in "my body". It was "our body" and I saw taking care of myself as the first step to caring for my baby. Morning sickness made that first 41 pounds drop off quickly. But determination to grow my baby in as healthy of an environment as possible kept my weight down.

    ....
heyhey - You sound like nursing keeps the weight on. But my dr said it helps your body recover faster (including returning to your pre-pregnancy original weight) Of course, it makes sense that you would keep a little extra weight while nursing. I just want to make sure nobody gets confused and sees it as a bad thing.
  • With my two previous pregnancies, I didn''t make it to term so I didn''t gain much weight at all. It never took long for me to lose the weight.

This pregnancy (32 weeks currently) I''ve gained about 29 lbs. I was 115 lbs. prior.

    **I''m 5''6", btw.
