Is protein whey isolate bad?

Ok on this other topic i asked about protein.
and someone said yes and said just stay away from protein whey isolates.
So is protein whey isolates bad? or just doesnt give much protein or what?
i read a article that said that basically it is not bad just wont get you a big load of muscles fast.
Which i am not trying to get alot of muscles as much as lose weight and get stronger.(so i guess i am for muscles)

But is whey protein isolates bad? or just wont give enough help to my body?
Btw it is not the ONLY source of protein i get.
whenever i go to the gym my grandparents take me to subway before in the day or after and i get:
subway club , 9 grain wheat bread , swiss cheese, jalapeno , tomatoes , avocado , and spinach with light light mayo.

So i still get alot of protein if the whey protein isolate doesnt give alot of protein.

Tips for Losing Weight Fast - Burn the Fat or Eat the Muscle?

Recommended Answer:
Whey isolate is not bad. Actually it can be easier on the digestive system of people who have lactose intolerance, IBS, and other digestive problems. When isolate digests much quicker than standard protein powder, so is excellent to use post workout. It is a little more expensive, but worth the price if you really need it.

  • I have never read a study saying whey protien isolates are bad. Whey is slow digesting so it takes longer to get used than a casein protien, DO SOME OF YOUR OWN RESEARCH
  • Whey protein isolates are one of the highest-quality protein sources availbale in supplemental form. Unlike pea, brown rice and other incomplete proteins, whey is a complete protein providing all of the essential amino acids needed for muscle building. It''s also an abundant source of the branched chain amino acids, of which leucine is the primary driver of protein synthesis. The term ''isolate'' derives from the sophisticated filtering process that ''isolates'' out much of the fat, carbohydates and sugars found in less desirable dairy products including cheap whey protein concentrate. By isolating out all of the undesirable components in whey, isolates provide active adults with powder packing a much higher protein percentage.
