I cut out all sweets and crisps and avoided bread, cut down my portion size and added more walking into my daily routine. I''m going to add exercise in week two but I''m worried if i''ve got anything wrong with what i''m eating before I go onto that.
What are foods I should avoid? any overall dieting tips?

A lot of diets make people gain weight, like for you. So maybe instead, just base your foods on natural and non-processed foods such as fresh fruit, vegetables, and nuts.(without added ingredients) Also meats and whole grain labeled foods. (It''s okay to treat your self once in awhile) Try to avoid fast food too. For exercise, do cardio for 30 min. to an hour. Running really helps. You can also incorperate strength exercise too. You should exercise 5-6 times a week. For exercising with me, I like to push my self farther everytime so you can start with something you find not too difficult and build yourself higher and higher. My dad works out a lot and I know he gets a good workout because usually his whole shirt is drenched in sweat and he works to the point he feels like he can do no more. You don''t have to work as hard as him for a good workout, but you should try to get close. Just remember that if you are exercising, but still not eating correctly, you won''t see much progress so a good diet is always a key! Good luck!
