How should i work out?

I''m 16, 5ft 9in or 10in, 160+ pounds. I''ve got a bit of man boobs, a bit of a belly (especially when im sitting), and quite fat thighs. I do have muscular calves and thighs though but there''s fat over it. I want to have muscular arms, shoulders, abs, and chest. I want to first lose the fat on my chest and waist, and also fat on my thighs.

what should i do? should i do mostly cardio to lose my fat first? or go right into strength and get muscles and lose fat that way? which way would be more effective?correct my if im wrong but I''ve read that you shouldn''t do cardio when you''re on a strength program because you''re muscles won''t grow that well. Any suggestions?

I like my current weight but i''d rather have that weight be muscles instead of fat.

  • Don''t do cardio and weight lifting on the same day. Cardio burns calories. Gaining muscle mass also burns calories.
