How many days a week should I be going to the gym?

I am 18 years old, 5''9 tall, 135 pounds. I would like to get down to 115-120.

I am limiting my caloric intake and watching my diet but I am a little foreign to the workout portion of losing weight. (I have lost 60 pounds already just changing my diet...minimal exercise)

Right now, when I go to the gym, I do:
-30 min on the elliptical (says I burn 300 calories...but I don''t know if I should believe that)
-12 min jogging on track (this is really difficult for me to do...heavy breathing...exhausted after)
-20 min walking (to cool down)
-10 min strength type exercises (leg lifts, ab workouts, etc)

How many days a week should I go to help reach my goal? Does it matter if I take two "break" days in a row? I know for sure that I won''t be able to go Thursdays but I should be able to work in the other days. Also, ANY and ALL advice for changing my workout would be appreciated! (such as whether ellipticals are worth it?)

Ur weight is fine. U don''t need to lose any weight. To loss weight watch what u eat and don''t take it all out in the gym. 3 days a week is good enough but more days can be done. U can cut down ur cardio to 30 min Everytime and add some weight training to ur routine. Weight training can eat away ur fat and u may gain alittle weight because ur muscles will be growing.
