Does dieting make you lose weight just in the stomach?

Does going on a diet make you lost weight in the face, legs, arms or just in the stomach area?

Running For Weight Loss - How Quick Should I Lose Weight?

Recommended Answer:
No. Dieting causes you to lose weight all over. But not necessarily in proportion. So if you have a big butt and a big gut, you may lose more gut than butt. Or maybe thigh, even if you don't really need to. It's not very controllable, even with exercise. Which, by the way, you don't need to do to lose weight. You should exercise, but it's mainly for all over health and not weight loss. It takes a lot of exercise to burn calories. Most people don't have that much time available to devote to it.

  • Well nobody goes on a diet without excersise. Who "just" diets? Yes, walking is excersise. Things you do in everyday life is excersise. Walking to find remote or carrying the laundry. You lose fat from legs and stomach. Thighs mostly. :)
