Can a caloric restricted diet mess with your brain?

Ok weird question. I had anorexia and when I gained all the weight back I tried to lose it again but failed for I''m trying to do it slowly and healthy but i have to start very low so I won''t gain. So I''ve haven''t been eating very much and been exercising a pretty good bit. The weirdest things have been happening though: like I can''t remember how to spell certain words sometimes right off (like I normally can) I can''t remember anything, things like that. This probably sounds crazy but I was just wondering

7 Tips to Help You Lose Weight Now

It is possible if you''re not eating enough for your brain functioning to be off. You''re brain, like the rest of your body, needs the energy you get from food to function properly. But if you feel like you''ve been forgetting things way too often and making too many errors, you should go see your doctor. And It''s really awesome that you want to try losing weight the healthy way now! Instead of calorie restriction though, try eating healthier foods, like oatmeal, brown rice, lots of vegetables, fruits and lean protein (chicken, turkey, eggs and fish). These foods will be good for your body and brain and they''ll keep you full for a longer time so you don''t have to spend time counting calories.
